Those three consecutive albums in the 70’s, Night Moves, Live Bullet and Stranger in Town were all great. His stuff with The Bob Seger System before the Silver Bullet Band was very good as well.

In the early 70’s the Moog Synthesizer became popular as well as the Rhodes electric piano (my favorite!) Then the Yamaha D3 and Oberheim Synthesizer followed after that. Bob made his way back to Detroit in 1961 fronting a 3-piece band called the Decibels. He has listed his early inspirations as being Little Richard and Elvis Presley. The first record he bought was "Come Go With Me" by the Del-Vikings. But of course, being from the Detroit area, he could help but be influenced by the Motown sound as well.
