It worked ! Didn't RUclips at one time allow the SRT to be downloaded from the pop-up transcript window? Now, it seems all you can get is the text or the text with timing. The text with timing was not acceptable to Subtitle Edit. The text could be imported but the timings were messed up.

is there a way to generate word-by-word transcript in SubtitleEdit or any other software, in another word I need a normal srt (or any subtitile file format) but the time stamps are word-by-word.
Yes, there's a way to do that using a free app available on Windows and Mac that's called Buzz.

Can you show us how to get/download subtitle from bilibili?
Yes same my classmate want some anime that I wanna share but BiliBili subtitles is json it's PAIN IF YOU'RE USING FULL ON PHONE but the video (M4S and M4S/B for audio is easy just convert it)

How to translate the srt file into another language?
On the latest Subtitle Edit Online web, there's a "auto-translation" button, click that button then you can see different choices of translation functions. :)
You can do this quite easily with a little coding.
could have showed how to get subtitle edit or at least dropped a link in description 😥
