This was very helpful! Thanks for putting in the time to make videos such as this cuz some of us just want to click where we need to click and not go looking through threads and forums setting this stuff up.
Thanks a lot for this! it is very useful. I wanted to know how to use Retro Arch and you made it very simple. Your videos are really awesome! Lots of appreciation from Brazil, man!
Bro i found your videos very useful keep it gud work.. im running my gaming channel i need emulators to work flawlessly and your content is definitely awsome..
For those still having trouble with finding the roms after selecting the core, search online for the rom games you want for the console then download and save them in a folder. Then scan the directory where you then saved the roms. Hope this helps those who are confused!
Just a note: RetroArch doesn't see the Documents folder at all, so you'll have to make a folder somewhere else. I was using SNES roms in my Documents folder with another emulator, but RetroArch couldn't find them, so I copied the SNES folder into the RetroArch folder and loaded from there.
Thank you bro awesome an easy video to follow along with I’m downloading all my snes games genisis games and n64 and Nintendo ds games I appreciate it man.
I installed retroarch on an LG TV with WebOs system and there are no tutorials on how to run the games, your guide helped me a lot with the configuration, thank you very much
So I've been using retroarch for a few years now and I'm just realizing the amount of customization you can do and little things like auto scanning all your game directories. I've been manually opening the files and starting games the hard way this whole time lol. And I've been using the blan boring ui and background. Now I'm going through and customizing everything and this is just as fun as any game.
Thank you very much I was struggling with other videos I was using and this is really the easiest and fastest way to set up your retro arch. Thank you very much!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
thanks for this.. basic stuff to get started, very useful, and there isn't any cringey fluff we have to skip around on (I just want to get set up 😆).. The thumbnails updater is a cool feature.
Thank you so much! you are the best at tutorials. Every pirate thanks YOU. Also to be clear for people who hadnt found out earlier this does not include the Steam release of RetroArch.
i have used stand alone emulators for a while, stopped using most besides ps3 (that one plays amazing with zero issues or lag and looks amazing) but wanted to play some snes games and sega again and decided ive never used retroarch even though ive heard nothing but good things, and i am blown away so far
Any help on where to get BIOS for PlayStation 1 and 2? Preferably somewhere where it won't try to make me download some other sketchy program before it will let me download the actual BIOS first as that happened a while back when I tried to get a PS2 emulator working.
Seems no one knows the answer to the most important step in setting these emulators up. I am following the "Dummies guide" grabbed PS1 bios files but they don't work. Yes I renamed them in accordance with the files the core needs. ps-30j.bin, ps-30a.bin, ps-30e.bin. Desktop view still reporting missing files despite them being there in the directory RetroArch/System.
I've got 3 questions about this since I'm new to Retro Arch. 1. Once I've downloaded a core and downloaded a game for that core, will I have to move that game to the specific core or will retro arch automatically put that game to the correct core? 2. Do I have to unzip the ROM file first before I place it into Retro Arch or not? 3. Do I have to download a core in order to play a game?
I would love it if you did a video on how to get the rumble feature to work when using Retroarch with a PS4 controller. I'm using DS4Windows, but can't figure it out.
bro could you help me out? those controller icons are not appearing at the end. I know that means the core that you downloaded but it's not showing on my end although I went all through your process perfectly. I'm confused please help me
great videos and you are precise to the tee. Is there a ps3 emulator on Retroarch? I downloaded it and followed the instructions but didn't see oner. Let me know and thank you
Already installed it. Just leaving a comment for the algorithm. Keep up the good work
Appreciate it still
hi, can anyone tell how much disk space is retroarch taking in windows?? In linux mint its taking more than 4 gb according to (Flathub)Flatpack.
@@UrCasualGamer3:09 can’t find the games
You have to go to this pc and click c drive and put your Roms in there
@BurningRubber454 type the game you want then 'rom' into Firefox. Eg crash bandicoot rom
