I used to work at Aman Tokyo myself way before your visit. I spotted some of my colleagues in the video. Hehe Thanks for filming it beautifully. I can see you paid lots of attention not to disturb other guests :) Hope you can come back there again.. hopefully soon!
Just got back from there. Aman is world class. Whenever you step off the elevator, someone is there to greet you and see what you need. The room was spectacular. We had the room featured here only ours was a suite with an additional living, dining, kitchen, desk area and powder room that was all the same size as the room featured in this video--so ours was literally twice the size. Amazing. We immediately started to look online to see where else in the world we could stay in an Aman hotel. Loved every minute.
If I ever had the money, I would give this trip to my parents and my brother. They deserve it. I never have been able to give back to them. I need to work harder!
There are countless fine dining options in Tokyo. These days for sure no country can match Japan's standards (this also applies to airlines). The country pays extraordinary attention to detail. The city has the most Michelin Star restaurants in the world - even more than Paris! No criticism, but Tokyo has hotels (including ryoukan) and restaurants, that would be very hard to match. It has had a long tradition of extraordinary service and hospitality hat unlike places such as France or Switzerland, it has managed to maintain. But this is no Singapore or Dubai. Understatement and minimalism is also a traditional Japanese trait. Conspicuous consumption is not something they like. More than other countries, the Japanese have been able to contain the excesses of the super-rich. It is has the most equitably distributed wealth and income distribution in the world.
I agree with you except the final sentence. While Japan is nowhere close to the worst of the world, she is also nowhere close to the best of the world, in terms of fair income.
@@PotentChr0nic If you consider the ceo to min wage gap, however, Japan is doing ok. I remember that is around 9 USD. If one excludes NATO countries, AU, NZ, there are only a couple of countries may beat Japan on this.

The only way this video could’ve been better is being able to see the view at night. Thank you for making this video. It has helped immensely in my research for Tokyo.
Wow! That was a spectacular experience! Stunning aesthetics; muted colors, everything at rectilinear right angles with circular or spherical accents, contrasting dark and light. Clean spare and tranquil. (Excellent music choices.)
I binged on all your Vietnam videos, spectacular! Great job filming and sound editing. Now, I'm on to Japan where I've lived for the past 30 years but could never afford such luxury. Thanks to your patient filming I can do so vicariously.
i've stayed here before in 2018 ! it was such a wonderful stay, i had so much fun. the view was so beautiful, the room was spectacular and all the staff were amazingly sweet. i loved every bit of being there with my mom and sister !
Wow, every hotel from Hualalai to Aman Tokyo, by the time I book my first trip you've already been there 7 years ago :) I need to see what's exciting in 2023.
Yes, rightly said, spectacular hotel lobby. I also like hotel interior design. And Japan very advanced in Technology, that also I saw. And mostly Luxury Travel expert's presentation very nice. Thank you.
I loved japan 🇯🇵 hotel ,very polite , excellent service. Japanese foods is the most delicious in the whole wide world, especially kaiseki..Thank you so much for your lovely video.God bless and peace grace 🙏🌸🌸🌸
Sorry for using the translation. But I want to say this, Japan is a good country, but other countries are really wonderful, everyone is so kind, I want to go abroad again someday! !!
Levendir Lol.Either that , or in Japan ...we have ( I believe they still do!) Famous " ELEVATOR GIRLS" !!! LOL.Which one do you prefer!? They all have the same voices & tones like so fake! Lol But at least they are real humans. Lol.
you are doing a wonderful job by showing us all the details , there is so much elegance in the way you shoot !! always love your travel videos keep up the amazing work! I learn't so much from your videos coz i exactly know where to go and what to do so thanx once again :)
A truly beautiful interior. Beautiful. It reminds me of the NGV Building here in Melbourne, though the Aman is much better. The NGV is dark and pokey, the Aman is bright and light. I refer to the style, not the result. Quite wonderful.
Addiction is never a good thing :). But I am addicted to traveling as well. Creating this RUclips channel and having a my travel blog helped me dealing with my addiction :)
I love the way you film and compose your videos... its a silky - smooth kind of feeling and immerses me to as if I were there. Your choice music and the minimal voiceover just perfectly moulds everything together. Excellent work!
Not in my case. I don't like too minimalist an environment, and a ring binder menu for such a top grade hotel looks manky too me. Picky? Maybe, but detail is an important way to assess the validity of claims to excellence
This place is fucking crazy, the cheapest rooms start at like $1500 USD a night. Also the interior design is gorgeous, I love the dark colours that Asian luxury hotels prefer.
I am tired of these kind of unpersonal hotels, every day for many years while working in my airline, now I would rather get into a small family hotel with views to the mountains, tatamis on the floor and coziness, one gets tired of this "luxus" free of cosziness. But anyway the place is great and happy that so many people enjoys. I enjoyed the video, thnx.

Hello, I want to apply for a job at Aman, Tokyo. Is there any way we can get in touch? I would love to talk to you!

Aisin eeeehhh...
They certainly do. Minimalism, meditation, simplicity, elegance...
Japanese service is simply the best in the world. This is highly cultural and cannot be copied.
I’m absolutely in love with Aman’s minimalism!
Time for a cup a coffee and a relaxing 20minuttes of pure heaven.

Did not expect it to be that big, thought it as a more boutique style chain.
