      Biological mothers (and father) both need to be involved in the decision for adoption. Otherwise it can lead to sever issues down the line. What the mother did here ( despite him breaking mentally and abandoning her) was the incorrect way to approach an adoption cause aside of the father actually having rights in this scenario it also puts the adoptive parents at risk down the line of dad fights back in the court system. Both should be put on jail because both of these teenage couple I mean the boyfriend and girlfriend are ones to cause the havoc due to lack of communication between them then leading the father to this.

      one can validate a persons feelings and understand how one could have such feelings without actually thinking they are good, or een bad. Its called looking at it from others perspectives doesnt mean you cant also see it from her perspective and ultimately think he was out of line.
      Like, according to him, he made calls and has been trying to contact her for some time now.
      I dont think that excuses running at first, but it does mean he was trying and she wouldnt even answer and say what she planned or even to say hey please stop or etc.. not that she truly should be expected (esp if he was toxic abusive when together!) But you can UNDERSTAND these things without agreeing.
      I think hes nuts but I think he probably wouldnt be "nuts" if there was a healthy communicated plan from , say, her parents or soemone else to avoid making it harder on her.
      Then that way he could properly deal with the feelings without it being condensed to a few short hours presumably before its too late.

    It’s stuff like this that kind of make it clear to me that if a woman feels that she cant take care of a child for whatever reason and decides to abort or adopt, there’s usually a good reason. Sometimes it’s a life or death thing. Whether she/her partner is not ready or if her partner is dangerous to the child or the woman, it’s ultimately her choice to make since she’s the one who will have the most responsibility taking care of it and will be taking the most risk.
    Pregnancy is one the most dangerous time for a woman because a guy can act like the perfect partner but do a 180 once he feels she’s locked down or he can seriously resent a woman for “daring to get knocked up” and “ruining his future” and take his anger out on her, etc.

    • @FishAnvil
      @FishAnvil 2 года назад +32

      And inversely, the mother can 180 on the day of the birth and simply decide that since she isn't ready to be a mother then the baby daddy doesn't deserve to be a father. Or she can find out she's pregnant and immediately ghost the father, get a restraining order and never let him see his child. Or even worse make the wrong man raise a kid he thinks is his. It happens both ways.

      @@olivia-yz1wi yes but as I stated he didn't say I will raise him putting the adoption on hault, and just take her to court for child support. His idea was they will raise the baby together and I'll do it by gun point to get what I want. That's not acting on his rights that's abuse and domestic violence. That is not okay under any circumstances. If he decided to exercise his rights that would be fine especially if he respected her wishes taking full custody, but he decides that he will get what he wants in a illegal immature fashion. That's the difference between a father demanding his rights and getting a lawyer if the hospital and involved parties aren't respecting his right as a father, and what he did.

      @@anniewallace3601 i have no issues with your stance on the whole gun thing as i was just pointing out how legally a father does not have to do anything for the mother durring the pregnancy and it cannot be held against him legally as most people in this comment section think a fathers rights depend on if he is there durring the pregnancy when legally that is not the cast at all like i said plus how could he exercise his rights when the mother refused to reply to his calls plus not tell him about the adoption in the first place as he is stated he tried to contact her many times about the baby but she just refused to talk to him or tell him anything making it harder for him to get his child legally
      now with the whole gun thing then yeah he proves unfit to parent that we agree on but on the other hand he was just a kid so there may be some leeway somewhat as it can be argued that he was not in the right frame of mind at the time due to his mental condition so supervised contact could be given if you know he did not die

      @anniewallace3601 you also need to remember there are fathers out who should loose cistody but judges give shared custody even after history of sometimes kidnaping some almost dying for various reasons from not getting or access to meds needed for the children or domestic violence because of old ideas of what a family should be so yeah he may have tried to contact her before but he lost most sympathy long before this by leaving her then sealed it in steel the second he picked up that gun

      The original intended mother for the child backs out of the adoption obviously because the father of said child held a gun to her head. So well yes the pregnant child gives birth and puts the baby up for adoption it's going into the foster care system not just being adopted to somebody, and the foster care system in the US is full of predators and people who literally have zero interest in the job. But being someone who was shuffled around that system for neuron 15 years I probably have a poor opinion of it, the same as 90% of the other kids who are treated as so much garbage by the government if you're over the age of 10 no one wants you you're just a burden so hopefully that baby gets adopted hopefully they don't go through the same s*** most do in the foster care system. But being that this is TV it doesn't really matter cuz there was no baby there was no pregnancy it's fake.
