The girl’s dad took a hostage at gun point earlier in the episode to get Voight and his team to investigate his missing daughter who was originally thought a run away. After saving her from the trafficking ring the dad still had to do time for taking a hostage. Secretly, Mouse the guy who was taken as a hostage, removed the bullets from the dad’s gun to make it seem his weapon was empty so he’d do less time than if it was loaded.
His charge was reduced to reckless endangerment.
That’s the same guy from the movie firehouse dog
That episode was insane
He should be free if the cops listen to him in the first place he would not have end up like that
Thank you, literally the only question I had
“I won’t go in another cage” that broke me 🥺
Same. That was just heart wrenching.
She’s been through a lot.
Right! 💔😢 That poor girl! Talk about serious trauma! 🥺
She was the only one that never broke. She’s a fighter and a survivor. She saved herself and those girls.
I mean technically she won't go to jail as she probably killed the guy in self defense.
Both dad and daughter are fighters with a strong bond. He knew she wasn't a run away and was willing to go to jail to get the police to find her.
I love how the female cop yoinked the gun out from underneath Sara and her dad as they hugged. Like "Don't mind me, just gonna get this deadly weapon, you two keep having your moment!"
She knew what she was doing
@@joewhitehead3 Yep. A smart cookie, as my grandfather used to say...
The female Cop's acting was excellent.
This so much!
I am so grateful to have my dad. I truly don't know what I would do without him.
Long story maybe, but the short version is I never knew what it was like to have a father. I may be "OK" by most standards, but I'm still a little messed up in one or two other ways.
Mine passed he wuda done the same thing he was a great man at his job involving weapons and he grew me to be a fighter
As a father myself, estranged by my daughter's,by the lies their narcissistic mother told them 26 years ago, it makes me PROUD that you feel this way.
Alot of people are lucky to have dads...some not so much if the dad passes or is just an awful person...
Myself...i dont know who my dad is (and im not asking my mom in case its hard to chat about) so as silly as this sounds..ive looked up to sonic as my dad all my life..
That dad was willing to go to jail so that people would find his daughter. I really hope that he doesn’t get locked up and is allowed to spend his life with his daughter
Wasn’t real
In the end, the guy that got held hostage by him removed the bullets from his gun to make it seem like it was all just a bluff, reduce his sentece.
@@TL2354yes it is.
The honestly it depends on the judge. He would still have to have some form of punishment. Though he did something for noble reasons he did still put innocence at risk. Which shouldn’t be looked past. Though he would likely get a reduced sentence.
@@TL2354 I’m aware. It’s Chicago PD I watch the show all the time
Gotta love what Mouse did at the end to help the father , even though Voight knew he removed the bullets but still let it go just to reduced the sentence.. what a chad…
The father's actions helped get a predator off the streets and saved several women that are held captive in his basement. So this is a morally gray area.
This is so gut-wrenching to watch. Even more sickening is to know that these type of things happen in the real world. I know it's a show but good to see that not all the stories such as this one, end badly. Some have good endings.
Absolutely, they don't happen often, but every time it does, it's a time too often. Even if it's say 0.001% of all women in America, that's still almost 2000 women...
Watch the movie Wrath of man. It has gut wrenching scenes and it all happens while people are at work, not thinking about this stuff happens. I do often, and it makes me angry and sad at the same Time knowing that im not able to help them😢
@@barvdwwdym it happens more than ubthunk bec there are no statistics bec politicians dont care bec they live off that business
“I won’t go in another cage” broke my heart. Watching or hearing things like this whether it’s scripted or not breaks me man. Bc that’s someone daughter, and I could never live myself down if that was what happened to mine.
What’s really sad is that in real life in situations like this the victims who take justice into their own hands are prosecuted the same way the criminals who abducted them by the law that abandoned them and doesn’t take their disappearances seriously
Some politicians like to make people an example
@@joewhitehead3 They shouldn't be doing that with victims who fight back.
@@mask938 Be nice to know what goes on in some politicians heads
@@joewhitehead3 I don't think that's something you really want to know. Especially with what's come to light in recent weeks...
@mask938 I agree. But the politicians lust for power means that any attempts to disrupt that power balance must be crushed at all costs. Look how the J6 protestors are being treated right now... While I can understand the people that broke stuff being penalized, or those that forced entry, the ones I can't get are the ones who were just in the audience at the rally that day prior to the main event... and never even entered the building... they're getting arrested now.
@@Tank50usRecent weeks? Something’s always happening
The lengths the father went to for his child, that deserves mad respect.
Just think that if the father hadn't taken the police officer hostage then Sarah and the other girls would still be imprisoned and Travis would still be doing awful things to girls. It's terrible that the authorities kept ignoring the father but kudos to the dad for fighting for his child.
"forced labour" is that what we're calling human trafficking now?
It is a RUclips safe title.
Yes
We have to use "soft language". 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Human trafficking goes by many names.
It’s just for RUclips. If they titled the video “sex trafficking” the website wouldn’t recommend it to new viewers.
The touch of a father’s love.
This is heartbreaking the poor girl has been through so much this scene has literally broken me
some men will do anything to protect their daughters and that means ANYTHING
Well he came a bit late for protecting.
@@blablubb4553 Could you imagine if he got ahold of one of the perps and reeeeeeally wanted to get the guy to sing? A couple roofing nails, jumper cables, a metal lawnchair, and an abandoned building that still has power... And then they can have a nice conversation about how stable the power is...
Well there have been real cases where a 'FATHER' did what was neccersary to protect their family! Unfortunately in some cases the 'Father' could only avenge a child by 'extreme' means that unfortunately meant prison for them.
Sarah was very traumatised she didn’t want to go back after what they had made her down.
This is one of the reasons why I love this show so much.
Its sad stuff like this is happening everyday, and that modern slavery is a real thing.
& people still wanna defund the police
@@joewhitehead3 There's two possibilities there....
1. They want to make sure their peeps can do whatever without ever being caught...
or
2. They don't want to actually get rid of policing... what they want is a National Police Force that is answerable to DC, and not to the locals. One that's just as well equipped and funded as the US Military... (now where have I heard that before........)
@@Tank50us That second one seems more likely
@@Tank50us or, hear me out, they want to defund the police (not abolish it) to reallocate some of those funds to other services that would help people, perhaps even lower crime, like education, transit (so people can get to work and earn money in an honest way), specialized EMT to help people struggling with psychological issues in stead of just shooting them...
If I see more law enforcement swarming around a fire than actual firefighters, more police than paramedics around an accident, I do think we could do with a few LEO's less and a few more of those.
And sure, we need law enforcement, but some make it sound like we're at war in our own country, and everyone is an enemy until proven innocent. Let's have a little more faith in people.
The waterworks on this one is crazy 😢😢😢😢 I’m so glad the Dad came through!!!! A parent’s presence means everything to a child no matter how old they get
This is one of my favorites episodes because she was saved at the end and the way mouse saved the dad too
A father will do every thing for his doughter
This is still one of my favorite Chicago P.D. episodes.
It's sad that criminals learn from these shows how to avoid getting caught, while police still ignore people pleas and just pushing them to the side.
You talk like you know the for a fact
Criminals learn from other criminals... For the most part the shows that depict criminal actions were written and filmed after the criminals actions. Copy cats may have learned/credited learning about their idol through the show but do a lot more research into their idol than just a Hollywood scripted show. Especially shows like Chicago PD/FD were it is over dramatized and actual police work is not at all like it is shown. Usually the ones that "learn" from a show are the drugged up guys that don't make it past their 3rd hit if they're the 1 in a million that gets that far.
Okay listen, I've spent a lot of time impoverished and on the streets, and if you _ever_ try and use the "knowledge" you glean from TV shows and movies to commit actual crimes, you _will_ get caught and thrown in jail.
Like... Not joking here.
@@strangerinastrangeland3613 It's almost as if the police watch the same shows....
Anyone know what episode??
Good episode! It was sad that man had to hold a police station hostage to get the police to take him seriously and find his daughter.
Oh right! That's the dad that came from like 5 states away and held up one voit's men at gunpoint
That girl’s dad did what he had to do so he could bring his daughter home.
The horrible part about it is that civilians do have to take matters into their own hands so law enforcement will listen to them and actually do something
@@callanightshade8079 Eeyup.
Heartbreaking is a understatement! 💔😢💔
A daddy’s love is what every daughter desires in life
not really in my case
Not for me my dads a dick, i want nothing to do with him. Nor do i want a father.
is not lmao. children need parents' love, whatever the gender of either
@@cereals4dinnerfathers are absolutely necessary
@@fuksocialmedia364
Not remotely true. Funding and community absolutely though.
Sad, pervs will start that with girls as young as 4. I have never understood the attraction to children and I don't want to. I wish everyone had a father like that.
Because they haven't been tainted by the world yet and they're easier to overpower
People are either often born like that or they had it done to them as children
Sometimes, they notice they feel like that, and they fully realise it's wrong.
@@AntoinettexKitten Basically it's easier to break a Filly than it is a Full-grown horse
Oh they unfortunately will go younger than that. It's honestly sicking
I honestly read the title of video believing a teen was doing landscaping for free )
Are you me? I literally thought the same thing.
That has to be the cleanest train I've ever seen.
that was heart touching it made me cry and i never cry watching this show. but this one really touched home
It was truly heartbreaking!! 😢
If only real life had such outcomes
It's funny how cop shows keep trying to convince us that cops in this situation wouldn't just unload their magazines on that poor girl.
ever watch body-cam footage? 9/10 times the only point where officers unload is when the person with the gun points it at them or at a bystander. If they drop it, and surrender to the officers, nothing happens other then them getting cuffed.
@@Tank50us 9/10?😂 have you watched body cams ?
@@Tank50usbffr
@@juanitacanon3120 yes I have. I've watched enough to make that judgement. And in the cases where an officer has to discharge his weapon, it's in cases where there's no other choice. And the data also corelates with that as well. How many Officer Involved Shootings there are, vs how many Officer interactions (for example someone getting pulled over for speeding) and arrests.
But odds are, you'll only remember the OIS, because that's what gets the headlines.
Wouldn’t happen Sarah’s white
Love how they ushered dozens of people straight across the armed person's line of sight... Did that station have no other exits, maybe in the opposite direction? 😅
I know, right? It doesn't take a SWAT veteran to understand that, yet they so royally messed that up.
Nothing can be more powerful than a Family Moment
This is my favourite PD episode I really love how caring Erin is in it
Grace, thank you for being a fan of chicago pd. Hope you will keep watching other episodes?
Same here! ❤️💔
@@Aemilius46 hey
Hello Grace, merry Christmas from us.
Thanks 😭😭 now im sobbing
These Chicago PD episodes right here are the best
Dude some people are just plain terrible. Fortunately as a Christian I believe they can change, these people will be in prison for the rest of their lives, but they can claim heaven in the end.
It must be nice to have a dad like that… only reason mine would show up as to yell at me for being so stupid that I got kidnapped and sold… berating me about how he warned me this would happen if I ever try to leave the house… then he probably tell to shoot myself since I’m such a weak coward anyways…
Yeah, there’s a reason i moved a thousand miles away from them … and hardly ever talk to the any more…😡
Good ending for fiction while fact is still going on and isn't being stopped
Wait why didn't the lady cop just tell Sarah that her dad's been looking everywhere for her and he's on the way, instead of vaguely telling her to hold on?
A simply incredible series.
Very sad episode broke my heart
Chicago PD it’s so real to life I find myself praying for you all and then I get to thinking it’s OK to pray for you all to keep you protected so I pray Psalms 91 over you all with all my love for all of you the God watches over each one of you and protect you and then no evil will befall you and no plague will come to your dwelling in Jesus name with all my love Pastor Rebecca❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So Heartbreaking when she told her dad you came for me
This made me cry....omg.....
I used to ride the blue line every day. So this was an interesting watch for me
“These officers are a little nervous?” What kind of talking down is that!?
Weird... Why not just tell her shes not in trouble, that she didnt eo anything wrong or that her farher is coming? Its like the script has everything to say that Wouldn't help...lol
I’m surprised they actually let her dad out to go see his daughter and damn…he wasn’t lying either. But he shouldn’t have taken a person hostage tho but I’m glad that he got his daughter
That's proper policing; despite not having been an officer of the law
Amazing acting!
Now thats a clean train!
I'm proud to say this was filmed in my hometown,
Chicago.
It's chicago PD so I would assume so.
Wait, Brooke?? That was unexpected
Benny!!! (That one officer in white was Benny in The Mummy and Igor in Van Helsing)
How many kids are in cages, right now?!
Dude took his green jacket back fast
lol i woulda turned into homelander and been like "maybe you should just squeeze it" 😂
That you came to me broke my heart 😢❤
The *"Forced Labour"* video title made me think they were talking about being forced to do laundry or something. Was doing laundry involved in any way?
I PTL I had a great dad he's passed and I sure miss him
Love the music they did with this when interacting with sarah
Music at the end nearly triggered a seizure. They need to use more classical and less synthetic bullshit for drama as it adds nothing.
Chicago PD ❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
So they rush over to the station, and the guy takes his jacket back from the girl first??
5:50 Best reunion!!
waited forever for this video
so glad its here
I love you guys so much like so much
That was absolutely disgusting!.
I miss these old episodes with Al.
You can always rewatch
Everythinv either did was under duress and self defense therefore any charges need to be dropped in court or voight and his team could just not file any and walk away rather than "give them a few" and then arresting, most of these cop shows should be banned anyway as they give real police officers the idea they have all the authority when they don't
Wat een heer de agent, gelijk zijn jas over het meisje haar lichaam bedenken
😭😭🥺 u came for me dad wow omg that’s so beautiful
That's just pure cruel
Looks like one of Diddy’s parties with half of DC attending!
the gun is pointed directly at the officer... real police wouldn't be so sympathetic haha or dumb.
When Casey Jones goes from vigilante to Chicago P.D. police officer...
Why didn’t Erin tell her that her dad came to Chicago looking for her?
In that state of stress the girl could have thought they meant to manipulate her. After what she went through she probably doesn't have any trust or confidence in anyone, so telling her something that might give her hope, in such state might cause the opposite effect.
Saying nothing until her father was there was a good course of action since the father's presence, as seen, would have been the only thing that could persuade her.
4:52 - Why cuff him at this point?
This episode and the one where Voit and the team are after the child traffickers are the best ones. Voit, like Vic Mackey ( The Shield) was a corrupt pos, but at least he wasnt an all out dirtbag, they both knew when you cross the line and hurt kids you got nothing coming to you but fuckn pain and misery.
She will never be the same again
How?
Did she move out of Arkansas?
These shows can be incredibly difficult to watch, just because they are fictional does not mean they cannot happen.
In a real scenario, there are two L Trains at Lake & Ashland; the Green Line and the Pink Line. Depending on which one she boarded, she could either be in Oak Park, Cicero or anywhere in between if she headed Westbound. If she was headed Eastbound, she could be anywhere downtown by the time they catch up with her.......unless she transferred to another bus or train, then she could be anywhere in the city. lol (I live here in Chicago)
I think the guy that plays the girls father is Kenny johnson
They use family members or things you love dearly to get you to break
It's weird that they didn't uncuff the dad earlier.
First off that’s not Lake/Ashland ….:that is Kimball Station on the brown line 🤣🤣😭
The Chicago shows usually switch up the streets. & judging by the color of the seats, that’s clearly the blue line
@@joewhitehead3 nope……blue line uses 26/3200 series…..I’m different so I looked at car number…..that’s a consist from the red line. Color of the seats is just the color of the seats

How about not. They do enough unpaid labour for the church as it is. Don't add your crap to their already full plate as it is.
What season and episode
Ow God this is crazy 🤪 ❤❤
while the father definitely does need to serve some kind of sentence, i do think it would be ideal for him to at least be out on home arrest probation rather than prison time. his daughter is going to need him if she doesn’t have any other supporters in her life.
