    I think one of the main point missed is about chargers and charging after your purchase. Checking if you've been provided with charging cable, granny charger(which we had missing, but our dealers was kind enough to post one at no extra cost after 2 months of purchase), check if you have the CCS connector provided and other few adapter's needed fir home charging. Loved this video! ❤️

    You really make great videos mate ! You've changed my mind about buying cars from a dealer vs an independent buyer so thank you for that !
    I am in the market to buy a used car, unfortunately I live in Ukraine so it's gotta be a left hand drive 😀 I've sent links to your videos to loads of friends and I do hope that someday you get a sale out of my shared videos! Keep up the great videos coming mate ! Sorry I can't be one of your customers 🤷‍♂️

    Keep in mind, US people, that 13:22 doesn't apply to us. NACS is the standard in the United States, and eventually CCS is going to be gone entirely over the next half decade anyways. It's the superior port, and the standard Tesla port is being transitioned on almost all other EVs in the future to that port, so no adapters required for this.

    • @tomspooner9062
      @tomspooner9062 Месяц назад

      Only in the USA. Where you have 3 phase AC power NACS is inferior. All the Chinese EV’s are CCS2. As normal, North America have their own ideas.

    I'm thinking of buying a Model X, but I am somewhat afraid of all the problems these cars come with... especially when the car is out of warranty. Any ideas how much would cost to run a 5 year old ModelX for another 5 years? My other option is a brand new EQB.. same cost, 5 year warranty but smaller inside, no tow bar and range equal to Model X 75D.

    We're actually thinking about buying a used MX 6-seater and I'm a bit worried because in so many forums you'll hear that there's like no MX that wouldn't have the driv shaft prolems and that they just keep coming and that it's a money pit after warranty.
    But you make it sound rather like something that's not that widespread and also not that critical.
    Could you perhaps elaborate on that?
    Is this something to fear?
    Is it a show stopper?
    In case it stutters if there's a little warranty left have it get rectified and then be done and just have a nice car or is this really like "a big thing"?

    I love Model X and im looking to buy my first Tesla. So i have few questions.
    1 . People complain about front drive shaft shattering, typical Model X problem. Is it expensive to fix?
    2. Does all model X have century mode option?
    3. Is it true that model X from 2019 have improved nose isolation?

    • @mamu679
      @mamu679 Год назад +1

      You're lucky, I'm also buying a MX soon and I at least know the answer to your 1st question.
      Yes it is expensive to fix, so look for an indepandent garage to change it. This is caused by a design error. Fix: always ride in low or very low suspension mode (then the drive shaft is more in a straight alignment and has lesser wear). This solution is also suggested by Tesla. Downside on this is that your rear wheels will get a more negative camber which leads to the effect as shown at 15:47. This is due to the fact that the camber can not be adjusted at the rear wheels. However, there are 3rd party providers which supply a solution to enable camber adjustment. Not cheap, but cheaper as buying new tires every season.
