      The fridge have been just sitting off to the side for a couple of years and only getting a quick view every so often. So finally we moved it behind the counter so it's apart of our set!! We do love the retro look, the canisters and mixing do match it. :)

      @bonitaskitchen  6 месяцев назад

      Oh my you have mean missing out on a tasty treat. Yes for sure you can leave the coconut out and adjust the liquid. Maybe pour the liquid in gradually so you can get the right texture for the tea buns. Enjoy and thank you for stopping by... :) Bonita

    These look delicious! When I make muffins I use oil instead of butter/margarine and Splenda instead of sugar. Would I be changing the texture of the muffins by doing this?

      Oh my the coconut do put a lovely taste on them. But just leave it out and adjust the amount of liquid when mixing them. The tea buns will still taste amazing without that for sure. Enjoy and thank you for stopping by... Enjoy Bonita

    Could the mandarin recipe not have been used...just swap the oranges for pineapple....and yes, I had a heart attack with you using a can lid as a strainer. I sliced my finger quite badly doing that with a cat food can. It was a note for myself to get one of those can openers that removes the top without leaving sharp edges.

    • @bonitaskitchen
      @bonitaskitchen  6 месяцев назад +1

      I know right! Sorry about that but I didn't put my finger on the sharp part only the top of the lid to drain the juice. But it's not the smartest thing I ever done. Oh my!! Enjoy our new recipe and thank you for stopping by.. :) Bonita
