The X5M was my wedding car. We tied cans to it and everything. By the time I got it to launch our kids were graduating and my wife was leaving me.

This thing is brand new and they've already experienced electrical gremlins with launch control. Just imagine how many things will be broken in 5 years!

That automatic camera system is easily the greatest new feature any car company has come up with. I actually had that idea a few years back and it's nice to see someone finally did it.
Now if they could only make it record when your away from the vehicle that would be the greatest shit ever!

Glad that Yuri is into the coupe SUVs as well. I love the X4M, X6M, and GLEc. They grow on you. I do agree that certain angles make the X4M look a bit weird, but they definitely grow on you!

I'm going to put it out there that I 'like' every single one of your videos. Hands down you guys always deserve a like. Sometimes, if nothing in particular stands out in a vehicle review as over-the-top, I wait until the video ends then give a happy thumbs up for +/- 15min of great entertainment... sometimes it's a quick like when your launches make me lol or you photoshop something 'quirky' that was obviously painstaking, but today I hit that like at 8:58 with the on/off quick comparison and seeing Jakub's faces. Kudos to you guys and thanks again for the quality work

Now that I've seen the X5 in-depth i'm going to head over to Motortrend to see what it will be like following one from behind since I can't afford one!
Way more tech than the GLE, sunroof lights at night are so cool. But the single best thing, the heated and cooled cup holders. Dollar for dollar and with the same options,… the X M50i is the best value for sure. Great job guys. I love how you showed the difference on the front ends by flashing them back and forth, after all that’s how I switch my screen shots back and forth quickly lol. Same with the way you compared the sound. Top notch guys!

Love this review! I actually prefer the way the GLE63 looks and am a big fan of the MBUX but you did raise a good point about all the tech features the X5 is missing. However, I will say Mercedes also has their dashcam coming out (it was announced months ago, should be rolling out in about a week with the brand new GLA) and also it does have a gesture control, called the Interior Assistant, it just works a little different (and in my opinion better) then the BMW's. The Mercedes also has the augmented video navigation, a more configurable digital gauge, a 48 volt mild hybrid system, air suspension that is controlled with said 48 v mild hybrid system called AMG Ride Control (different then E-ABC), and power adjustable 2nd row seats, so the Mercedes has some tech features that the X5 doesn't have too. They're really neck and neck, both awesome SUV's. Two of my favorite new cars on sale today!
Well difference is that now youre a big car reviewer so they send you the best cars, while before you only had a couple of thousand subscribers and they didnt bother giving you the good ones. Larger audience=better cars.

The auto trunk cover is one of the most convenient features especially if you need to hide stuff. I'm glad I optioned it though it'll definitely break in a few years.

I find it nice that automakers are putting dashcams in their cars using their cameras. Its really assuring. I have a dashcam in my Tucson and I would easily be sold with an integrated dashcam in my next car.

I love the looks of this car. It's just stunning with it's black on black look. If I were to get one of these I would spec it in the same exact way but with a black interior on the inside. I definitely prefer the X5 over the X6 because of the better look and the overall better practicality. Like I said this is a great car with great performance and awesome practicality. But if I were to be in the market for a high performance SUV I would get the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. I think it looks a bit better and at the end of the day it's a Porsche which means it's way cooler from a cool factor stand point.

When I went to one of my dealership technician factory training sessions my instructor was into doing track days and he would always tell us stories on how this guy takes his X5M to the track and smoke people driving sports cars like Honda S2ks and Porsches.

Nuhan Hidayat they may be referring to the exhaust manifold which is dual and the splits into quad tail pipes at the end
Double dual exhausts sounds better than quad exhausts and it also makes the visualization easier - 2 exhausts on either end at the back, so double dual exhaust

@@AdamSmith-gs2dvwe have had 2 bmw's x5's a 50i and 40d a, 120i ,330i and a 550i over the past 15 years and we have only had problems with cracking wheels from the gigantic potholes. were so dam lucky XD
