One thing that really helped me was getting that vigor rune it gives you health for every rune in your inventory and of course go for every rune you can get it ends up giving you a bunch of health by the end boss much needed unless you wear the Dwarves armor
There is an ultimate element build that I pulled off in one run: Mjolnir and the ice flail for weapons; then two runes: fire bomb on heavy finisher and poison bomb on heavy finisher. With those four equipped, virtually every heavy finisher was dealing some kind of elemental damage.

It took me 5 runs to beat loki daughter the dragon was the hardest boss
very good advise, i managed to finally beat hel after 5 runs, but when it comes to the favors, my advise is to pass on buying any of them until you have spent all the memory for skills, gaining the skills will go a lot farther then favors in your first few runs
I'm on my first run and I'm currently at hel. I feel this is where my luck will end haha. I guess I'll find out after work
My tip is always check people's screenshots. This is not new but as usual, some screenshots provide clues to important places such as the one I've seen showing the well hidden merchant on the third map
That merchant is pretty easy to find

Good thing to note though, is that the more you fail the runs, the more story and cutscenes you get!
Honestly doing a couple runs at first was hard but then as you get more of your skill tree filled it’s a walk in the park. Still gonna keep rerunning it tho lol.

One thing i love doing with this is stacking fire and poison runes it melts enemies like radiation it’s lethal

I know I'm a bit late but I really love using light bows the high fire rate and amo count shreads through the first 2 bosses
Make sure to take the zip lines all the way to their respective destinations. I jumped off right before the zipline ended and got stuck in an invisible barrier and had to restart my whole run.

Is anyone having problems with the new festival update for AC Valhalla if you are having problems when signing and kicks you out
Took me forever. Finally, though, with a topped out short sword and dagger (speed) with some jacked runes and sick Hunter bow that hissed.
Legit beat it after 3 tries including the Hel Bossfight. The legendary shortsword, the legendary bow together with Mjolnir with shock, fire and poison build up was legit ggs for the Forgotton Saga
You missed the treasure chest in the first realm nilfheim it’s to the right.
There is also a treasure chest in the 3rd level it’s also far to the right next to the merchant that’s underground
That feeling when you defeat the dragon and try to escape, only to turn around and see a hoard of undead sprinting toward you.
I’ve been on the 5th attempt and still haven’t got passed the dragon, but I enjoy not trying too hard, dying a bit early, and then going back to upgrade everything and see the difference. Makes it more fun

@@akaspen4739 try getting the hp on heavy finisher rune it helps a ton just r1 r1 r2 when you get to his legs to negate the poison and during dps phases you can also heal a ton with this works really well with the 2 melee focused armors its probably the best rune in the game
I use the throwing axes ability and any fire based weapon, rune and/or ability to defeat the dragon. It's worked so far every time.

I still haven’t beat him yet. The first time I had like 2 health left and was so pumped. Then saw those dudes running towards it and was like “wtf is that?”. I was laughing as I died

I enjoyed the DLC so much. The only miss in my opinion was the inability to summon Draugr during boss fights. It invalidated a very fun build.
tbf summoning an undead warrior to fight Hel would probably not work out well for you

Did 3 runs! First try did beat hel, went and do the main missions with my full jarl set like a boss 😂.
When you purchase all favors for a run you get an ultra rare achievement. I did it today and its a .6% achievement
Anyone know of a fix for the festival? The intro cutscene played for me then the game crashed and now there’s no festival going on in the settlement yet it’s still available as a quest
EZ runs = dwarven armor and gungnnir, incendiary powder trap for nidhogg ang Hel, and fury strike for enemy groups... runic vigor for even EASIER runs ;)
Does dificulty afect this mode, because i havent played for months and did this mode real quick, only after i realized that i had been grinding months before and my game was on easy

Flails is a pretty effective against Nidhogg (the dragon) atleast i get to damage with alot with it
ok but after you complete the quest with the girl you fight 4 times in the cave, when u start over she will be at the beginning asking for some arrows… do you give her some? if so how many?
What if I were to tell you I got the choice for the first boss to have to pick a select reward from the merchant before the first boss fight for like a unlimited Fill of full arrow casings?
What’s bout the Nárkljúfr? Or the Óx-Nepja? Or the Vindbogi? In forgotten Saga? How do any of these three weapons fair if we have the choice based upon buying a memory or favor for u looking Selecting a Reward in forgotten Saga?
Was gonna start The Forgotten Saga, BUT everytime the cutscene at the start of the latest Sigrblot Festival begins the game crashes to the dashboard. It's like this for almost everyone on Xbox and a bunch of people on PlayStation and PC. So long story short I can't start Forgotten Saga till they release a hotfix or till the Festival fucks off in like 18 days.
That sucks, did you try starting the game without an internet connect? This should not trigger the festival
Yup but I won't be able to get achievements and plus I wanna get the new stuff in the Festival shop. So I'm kinda screwed either way.
Given the last Yule Festival didn't appear in game for a lot of people, including myself and you, and that got a hotfix I'll be astonished if this doesn't too as it's game breaking.
This is how live service model games are. There will always be bugs and people always trying to fix them. It's a mess. This game has had an obscene amount of bugs and they just never end. It's been 2 years.

On my first one i died miserable, on my second one i was defeated by the dragon, but in the third one i got victorious.

lol I'm almost 100 hours into trying to 100 percent the game, got everything in every area, asgaurd, finally ready to do the story and finish it to move on. my heart dropped realizing there was a whole other area in this like how GOW had a long ass rogue like area.

Seeing Brush of Death mentioned here reminded me that at only yesterday at power level 380 that I realized I haven't gotten than skill yet. 105 hrs not having that skill, I didn't even know cause I was busy with Bear and the hunter tree.
Although this game mode is awesome it only took me 3 tries to beat it. And even on the second try I got to Hel only to be defeated by hre second phase

Hel isn't even hard. The dragon and the second boss were harder imo lol. I beat hel on my first fight against her. It helped that i used the dwarven armor. It really saved my ass couple of times.
For me, How to cheese the run are using Gunir and Poison Element you'll be easy kill Hel in less than 1 min

So far I've found Gungnir to be the best weapon. It's the only i was able to beat the second boss.

Hey jor wuts up I’m having trouble with my Valhalla game the festival has broke broke it when the festival loads it will work all the way up till evior does the bonfire then hard crashes instantly right after that has happen to me 6 to 7 times in a row and I’m at a point to where I can’t play Valhalla at all due to the festival has broke it

Assassin's Creed Valhalla forgotten saga needs to change I'm tired of starting back at Odin's camp I was getting ready to defeat the dragon when I got killed they should've fixed it where you start at the last check point right before you face the dragon. I like this game but they should've fixed it where you can save at a certain point make it a lot easier for us.
got to nidhogg my first try almost took down his second phase but got caught by his green lazer because he kept spamnming. I'm mad i could of beat the dlc in my first run lol.

Hey, can someone explain what do we have to do in the 4th stage of DLC after defeating the dragon? I defeated him twice and both the time the next stage is like there was nothing. I was climbing the mountains like crazy, one after another and at a certain point the sunlight got so bright that my screen went complete white...
You need to enter the gate from where the dragon came an then just move forward until you will find a ship wich will trigger a cutscene and brings you to the final level
@@lamentedtar5534 yes, I'm talking about that final lvl, I'm stuck in there...at the beginning of that stage it teleports me to a place where we have to kill the enemies and then there's a cook I talked to whom offered me some drink...next I claimed up to the walls and get out of that place to another mountain but when I climbed to it's peak, the sunlight I'm guessing was so bright that I couldn't see a thing so I climbed back down a bit...after that I've got no clue what to do

@@hassanzahidi7710 o got stuck there for a bit too. Go back to the wine guy and move to the end of the room opposite to the side where you can slide underneath. There's a triangular door down a corridor on you right that runs parallel to the room you had to clear.
Is the forgotten saga a all time DLC ? Or is it time limit ? I just started ac valhalla for the first time and wanna play the main game before i start the forgotten saga. But if it is time limit i feel that i need to do i now!
It’s not time limited, so you can take your time.
Is this permanent in the game or apart of the festival?
I have been beating it on the hardest custom difficulties. I died my first two runs (one with Nidhogg cause I had no idea of his 2nd phase and I was aggressive and Hel because I was again playing aggressive thinking there was an elk statue before her fight).
Tips:
GET DWARVEN DEFENDER
GET DIFFERENT ELEMENTAL ABILITIES
DON'T USE PREDATOR BOW
START WITH SNEAK THEN IMPROVISE
The difficulty for the DLC is set. The difficulty settings you have do not affect gameplay in Niflheim. I agree with the tips though!

don't rely on assasination. use hunter bow it kills most enemies when you get a good one. for those too strong sneak up behind them get the best possible damage shot then quick assassinate them, trust me we all learned the hard way that Hel's has no Elks in her castle

I've got it by fighting her in a cave in like my 10th or 15th run. Is a female btw after she's whole again she'll be found on the first map. She'll always help you fight if you give her arrows or health

I had that happen as well. I killed both life bars. I thought that's what people ment by "you gotta kill him twice" the revive happened and killed me. A few runs later I got him.

During only my second run I was able to get to the final realm before dying mainly due to my overpowered build I had a legendary Dane axe that dealt fire damage and a ton of fire runes which let me melt enemies without a sweat I even beat the dragon first try but died at the final realm cause I couldn’t heal😢

No, I believe (and someone can correct me) you need a high enough settlement level (like lvl 3 or something) to unlock your Seer hut and I believe you have to had venture into Asgard once (but I could be confusing that last bit with Dawn of Ragnarok)

I found nothing compelling in the DLC. It's a Returnal, SIFU style game.
