My hometown is in a remote countryside in Hube Province in China. I used to take care of silkworm when I was in primary school。 In summer vacations or on weekends, I was woke up by my parent to pick mulberry leaves for silkworm. When the cocoon formed, we collected them to sell. Silkworm did much to help us off poverty. Thanks for the sacrifice of silkworm. I want to cry when watching this video.

Hi Amy just starting to watch your video channel! Very interesting and love your engaging tone and sweet smile when you introducing the Chinese culture. Though I am a Chinese, I don’t even spent such time to travel around China myself. So you are awesome! :))

The Wandering Rey Well, I don’t even get why the men came if they’re not interested unless their so called ‘wifey’ told them to come for no reason. I would rather tell my fiancé to stay home and just let the women critique the dress and surprise him on the big day.
Men used to be excited for their wedding as well if not more than women. That's when they were mostly virgins. Nowadays, even if God were to have another son, He couldn't find a virgin. That isn't the case anymore, thanks to Jesus or God.

In my elementary school age, every year we raised silkworm for fun.We call it 蚕宝宝🐛 ❤️ Love you last sentence "when you hold a piece of silk in hands, you are literally holding a piece of Chinese history."
I lived in Suzhou for 2 years. I really miss it after watching this video! Also, That one mall, as large as it may be is just the tip of the iceberg for Suzhou's wedding dress district!
Of the silk products from China I love is what they call the "quillow" a combination of a pillow and a quilt. Its a silk cushion for your sofa and it opens up to be silk quilt for when the weather is cold. Awesome.
Wow, surprised you visited Suzhou, a few months ago. Suzhou has certainly been developing all this years. We do appreciate the work of silkworm. There're so many poetries and mottoes contributing to their hardworking and dedication spirit. Although I don't think silkworms know that. They're more like "another wonderful day, getting well-fed, and I'll become a beautiful moth after a great beauty sleep. What a life" and then... oops
