This is a very meaningful Podcast today! My story is very similar to all of your guests. What we all have in common is that we weren't satisfied with the idea of being unhealthy and being in the medical system with no hope of getting better. I think you should do this type of podcast at every additional 100th episode. I am like so many of your students (followers) that I have become optimally healthy and that I reversed my disease process within the first 4 months of changing my diet and following The Plant Paradox Protocols. Keep on teaching us. Thank you so much!

I just sold you another book with my daily lectures to random people that need desperately to be knowledgeable about the truth. Love you Gundry, you completely changed my life 5 years ago with the plant paradox. I am so grateful that my health is superior. I am not fooled by the nonsense and doctors won’t help people with the truth. The man in the store bought the plant paradox off Amazon in front of me and I told him I was proud of him. I’ve sold and gave away my copies to people over and again to help people like you. I tell everyone how important you are , all the copy cats that don’t give you any references or respect infuriates me. Love you!!! Thank you for what you’re doing and what you’re done for my existence here on earth. I suffered for too long and now at 48 I’m feeling my best ever in my entire life. Thankful so so thankful!!!!

Dr Gundry, I thank you so much. I have been eating the Eden brand pressure cooked beans, a different bean everyday, eliminated lectins, nightshades, I’m whole food plant based, nothing else, very strict. And now I don’t need to be on medicine for crohns. I workout an hour everyday, light weights, basically more of fast walking for exercise, I feel so good and without you and your knowledge I wouldn’t have known why these foods were causing me problems and keeping me sick and keeping me on those toxic and terrible biological that I was having terrible side effects from like fast heart rate, etc. those medicines they always advertise on tv are serious medicines. I got to the root of it, food is medicine, I truly believe in the gut microbiome diversity. I got crohns from the anthrax vaccinations I had to get in the Air Force. That part makes me so angry. But it’s important too to mind your mind, body, and spirit. Listening to great music and taking care of your mind is equally important. If people see this please pray for me that I stay in remission. It’s a frightening disease. And I pray to God everyday that he keeps me healthy. Because those medicines are so scary it send me to the ER many times. Many healing blessings to all of you. 🩷

I’m a success story of Dr. Gundry’s. I have more energy than all my friends. Even the ones half my age. I’m 40. I love dr Gundry. So grateful to him. I also learned how to cook. Some ppl think it’s freaking amazing bc it’s all real, crazy colorful, tasty, unique food. I grew up with learning difficulties and spent too much time out in the hallway. I was there due to my ADHD. I graduated at the top of my class in nursing school shortly after starting his protocol and adhering to it strictly. I’ve read all his books and I do use his supplements. I used powerphenols, vital reds, and Olive oil during nursing school. Not to mention a strict keto diet with prolonged fasting for excellent test taking brain function. I tried to share the message, but people don’t always want to hear it. Naturally, my fellow nursing students want to believe our textbooks rather than the hyper chatty girl with good grades. I may just have good genes, they say. So they eat their cinnibuns before taking tests. Oh well.

But they're drilled to only know big pharma. It's the doctors that continue to keep an open mind to research and new finding like Dr. Gundry, that stay up to date. Those are the Doctors I trust more than the doctors that only work based off how the govt and big pharma wants them to work

Just like Hector I am also of Cuban descent and my mom used to always rinse, soak, the beans overnight and change the water twice before she would pressure cook them. I never knew why she went through all that trouble but now I know. Unfortunately my brother and I were introduced to the westernized fast food chain products and we spent most of our childhood just easily suffering cold or flu viruses, Because of the lack of nutrients our bodies needed to maintain a proper immune system. It's a shame that this information was not available at that time of our lives so that we would have had better health earlier. Better late than never. I always thought that food was just food and that all I needed was to just eat it and my body would handle the rest. Now with the changes in my diet to include lectin free and natural foods I feel way better. Just need to pass the information down to my children so that they can also benefit from practicing the same habits that I am now doing. The great thing about what Dr. Gundry is teaching people is not just avoiding the bad things but he then gives you other options to replace what we have been accustomed to. Thank you Dr. Gundry for taking the time and effort to provide us with the information.

From my understanding, the main point is in removing the NO foods. In carnivore diet, you are mostly doing that. By a side effect of carnivore diet, you have removed a lot of lectins = much better condition. In the long term, the meat leads to different sort of issues. But in the short term it could help a lot of people, just because of lectin removal.

These 'anecdotes' are looking and sounding very healthy and full of vitality. Sadly the general public will have to wait 20 years to catch up with what Dr gundry has managed to figure out from his research and clinical practice

Some of the ingredients in the Primal raw dog food include a few items on the no list - Squash, Pumpkin Seeds, Sunflower Seeds. Is this ok, Dr. G?

I always thought that if I took Dr. Gundrys Lectins Defense I didn't need to cut out foods with lectins. I have to eat super low carb and have so few things that I can eat with food allergies and sensitivities but I thought I could still have spinach and eggs if I took the lectin defense. I must have misunderstood. 😔

leaving a question here in case anyone or even Dr. Gundry's team can help! ok so truvani uses pea protein and peas are no nos but on the no list it does say pea protein isolate or hydrolysate. I know the protein brand removes the peel/shell/skin of the pea. is that sufficient in reducing the lectin?? bc i dont use whey protein and now i dont know what protein supplement to turn to that isn't nasty 😂😂

My favorite of all of Dr Gundry's books for the food lists is The Plant Paradox Cookbook. I refer to it often. I love how that book was put together. All of his books contain the food lists. The food lists in the latest book, Gut Check are near the end of the book. Chapter 12. I have all of Dr Gundry's books and have read them all more than once or twice.

I also had the same question. I eventually want to get all of Dr G’s books but would like to start with whichever one contains the yes/no list. Thanks for posting the question! Hopefully, someone can help both of us out. Sounds like Hector mentions the Plant Parodox a few times and also talks about the yes/no list so maybe that’s the one or possibly all of the books contain the list. 😊

I am worried everyone becoming so well so fast, like in a month everything being much better. No detox? I am puzzled, because I am 15 days on and the worsening rollercoaster is happening to me. I am dealing with borrelia - neuropathy. From all lifestyle regimes I know, we were always hearing about quite long period of detox. I am not hearing such stories from dr Gundry's patients, so I am afraid something is wrong with my issue - that I am harming myself with the diet. A little bit of stories about "I was detoxing for 1 month, then it started to change" would be calming for me :)

As a 6 year veteran of The Plant Paradox Program, I agree with you that there are some symptoms and health issues that don't disappear within the first 30 days. However, I experienced everything that Dr Gundry's guests described. I had the full metabolic syndrome. Within the first 30 days, I was able to cut my blood pressure pill dose in half. But, it took 18 months to get completely off of my blood pressure medication. My cholesterol took 2 years to meet the so-called "Normal" range on my LDL Cholesterol. I was on a statin and even when I was on the statin, my health continued to get worse. I discovered that I need to get off the statin so that I could really see how my diet is impacting my cholesterol. All along the way, my doctors kept telling me that I qualify to take a statin. I had to learn how to read my own labs and I started showing them that even though my cholesterol numbers were still out of range, they were coming down and finally, I reached the "Normal" range on all of my cholesterol numbers. Another thing that I am very good at doing is that I am self-accountable. I have a food journal that I post in daily. I forecast what I will eat for the day and I modify it to what I actually ate. This really helps me understand how well I am doing. I am 6 years in and I am optimally healthy at 60 years of age. I am not on any medications. My weight is in BMI 22 zone. I have full energy all day long and I don't ever crash. I am always referring to the "Yes Please" list to not only stay on track, but to diversify the veggies to make sure that I am not eating too much of the same things. I will never give up! My job is to be optimally healthy.
