What's your opinion of adding another fret in the middle of the 2nd to add C? I'm so tempted to try it, but don't want to compromise my Merlin. Stay vigilANT, Sir.
Styx is a fantastic band and I will make a point of finding some that works on Merlin! I too have toyed with the concept of the added fret, though I was considering gluing on in as opposed to drillining and mounting that way. I am definitely going to research it further, but even with the extra fret, that elusive C is still quite a finger stretch!! For now, lets find sokme Styx!! Thanks a million for your ongoing support!!
