I suggest you to analise world war zero and chrome spec force
Love this series
JarekTheGamingDragon hey! Love the channel! Have you ever heard of a game called carnevil. Would be nice if you could at least watch a video of it. It is a decent game.
Oh no I made a white men can't jump joke in my video! Must mean I'm racist! Chill out.
You should try out a game I played for the 360 a hole back called Blacksite: Area 51, I believe it is a unofficial sequel to the Area 51 arcade game.
my recommendation! yay! glad you covered it!
youre a chad man good on you and congratulations
andrewstencel I may be a year late but your absolute chad
I’m italian, and the bappe boopi guy has a genuine italian accent.
PAOLO BELLINI UNO DI NOI, MANNAGGIA AR GATSO
yooo connazionale
Ah, the seemingly bottomless pit of unremarkable FPS games from obscure European developers.
Jamston Julian Slavic, specifically
Many are entertaining and rather cheap now.
I'll take that over the $65 plus dollar AAA stuff that pretty much turns gaming into a gambling addiction.
looks like it plays more like f.e.a.r. than doom 3, honestly
exactly my thought
man this shit looks like fear
*immedieately use peeking in the video
nope,its fear
and the slow mo lol
Fear was the first thing that came to my mind when seeing this
He quite literally leans and goes into bullet time, while talking about Doom. He's usually on with these reviews but the constant mentioning of Doom is just wrong.
The engine actually reminds me much more of the FEAR engine
This looks like a fake game people play in movies or tv shows.
this, where do tv shows find the bizarrely generic games they display?
Echo Delta Do you remember Jesse Pinkman in breaking bad playing a game on his home arcade stuff ? In fact it was a modified version of Rage from id ( and a pub for the game)
Very original comment stupid kid
Truth
@@MrVitalic85 I could tell when I saw it, I've played enough rage to tell
This is actually one of the first demo's I downloaded off of steam. I've had it for so long I have an embarrassing 21 hours in this game.
It hasn't aged well and I think that's part of the charm. We don't get eurojank like this anymore and the last one that comes close is last years Red Alliance. It's a dinosaur from a bygone era that while wasn't great, I sure as hell am happy to see it exist.
Chrome would be a good one too, I think that was Techland's 1st game.
Tried to compete with Far Cry 1.
bro, same. The demo of this game is my childhood memory lol
This game almost looks like it was based on F.E.A.R.'s engine. The slow motion, lack of proper ADS, and the way the character leans looks so much like F.E.A.R.
The movements are smooth though, and fear engine games have clunky movements.
@@m3rl1on I feel more like f.e.a.r 1 had clunky movements ( a tad bit) but overall it was pretty smooth I have the game installed :P
@F.u.c.k Go.ogl.e wow calm down there fella
Darkest of Days is a game I CANNOT RECOMMEND YOU DO MORE, really quirky yet lovable title. Love the series always watch your vids when they come up
Edwards Morgan That’s the game where you shoot futuristic guns in the American Civil War, Rome, and WW1.
ye its a budget game but settings were impressive esp civil war and the gunplay was fun too
Liked the idea of the game, but the execution was not great.
Highlight was getting the machine gun in the Civil War and the futuristic sniper during the WW2 segment.
Have to agree with this one, Darkest of Days was a strange game. It wasn't awful, just okay.
@Uncle Taurus, Darkest of Days had a great idea, but a so-so execution.
Definitely didn't have the budget or talent to really live up to the idea.
I am Italian and...the accent is okay, but he speaks in a mixture of Spanish and Italian. I knew this game because of that character alone. -_-'
Good stuff, Jarek! Keep the analysis videos coming, your content helps my work day float by and I genuinely enjoy seeing videos on games I'm unfamiliar with.
This looks much more like a budget F.E.A.R. game.
I WAS GONNA SAY
Hey, I am aware that you’ve played F.E.A.R, but do you think that maybe you can make an analysis or review?
Oh I absolutely will at some point. Fear is such a beautiful game and there's so much I can say.
JarekTheGamingDragon :D
Fear 1, excellent.
Fear 2, great.
Fear 3, okay.
Fear Online, killed the franchise dead.
WB Games sucks.
Fear 1 = Literally one of the best shooters of all time.
Fear: Extraction Point - The true ending to fear.
Every thing after - A complete disappointment to the original game.
@@Jarekthegamingdragon An analysis of sequelitis, perhaps?
There is a game called "Alien Rage" which was basically Doom 2016 b4 Doom 2016
Love how the sniper rifle scope made the enemies smaller than just looking at them without zooming in(or in this case out)
Another great video mate keep em coming, you're becoming my go to youtuber for entertainment.
I Love Doom 3, its not doom 1, 2 or 4 (yes, doom 2016 is doom 4), but its a great game. Very well made, beautiful lighting and gunplay.
If Alpha Prime is a budget Doom 3, then Alpha Protocol is a budget Mass Effect.
Another Jarek video that I'll have to watch in a week after I've played it!
I quite enjoyed playing this. I seem to remember the movement feeling like your skating on a slippery surface which, I think, is a common experience when playing older games. Great video as always.
Could you take a look at Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines and its unofficial patch?
I second this, specially now that a sequel has been announced!
Is vampire the masquerade his type of game?
Someone in a previous comment probably mentioned this earlier, but It honestly reminds me a bit of F.E.A.R. in some aspects. Mainly leaning, the weapon zoom, and slow mo (kinda mentioned in the video).
Oh and the gatling barrel on that rifle reminds me of the gatling P90 from SMOD Outbreak as well.
Liked and subbed. Also it looks more like F.E.A.R than DOOM 3 aside from graphics.
12.06 was that a Weyland-Yutani logo I saw on that door?
I love the lighting effect on the grenades
The fact that I didnt even know there is bullet time in more than half of the game before I discover it when I look at the control settings.
I don’t watch your videos. But I listen to you for hours when I’m working. Dunno why but you’re entertaining as fuck.
Budget Doom 3: Alpha Prime
Budget Doom Eternal: Ultrakill
I will like to see you talk about Brink my favorite video game.
That will be neat
8:24 you're supposed to hack the loader, pick up a box and lift it up with the mouse wheel, which I found out way later
Hey Jarek, love your work. Maybe you could do a video on, maybe Cold Fear or the History Channel Civil War games?
I had a terrible experience with the sniper scope, it was like i rotated in 0.5 degree increments and it was unuseable.
At first glance of the title I though this was an analysis of the budget of Doom 3.
Because holy shit, analyzing the budget (manpower/cash/time/special tech) of a game would be awesome. What does it "cost" to add a new gun/enemy/level to a game.
Can you review the Starbreeze Chronicles of Riddick games?
I loved this game back in the days.
I would love to see a full review/thoughts video on Killing Floor 2 from you. You've mentioned it in the past, and it is just amazing.
Great Channel. You should look into "Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter". I remember thinking it was a really good game back in the day
H U B B A R D I U M
Also: "Me Paolo Bellini. I am not-a here. Mamma Mia. Gabagool. Get-a your tootsie-frootsie ice cream-a." - Civvie 11
isn't that ArmA II soundtrack? specifically, Close Quarters Combat?
Can you review the 90's alien vs predator game?
What is the outro music playing in your recent videos, Jarek?
You should take a peek at VietCong.
You take part in military operations against the Viet Cong as the name suggets.
I played it a lot as a kid and its truly an amazing game. It combines very hardcore FPS gameplay with some squad mechanics and has very hard and challenging levels.
It really is an very interesting game and is a must play if you ask me
Have you ever played "BLACK"? I think it's an outstanding shooter for its time, the bullets spray a ton of debree and dust when they hit the ground or a wall, the gun models are top notch and still holds up to this day, replayed it on the xboxone and i was blown away by the graphics and general physics of a game so old
If you’re taking recommendations. May I suggest Farcry instincts and it’s DLC? Might have a good time playing it
Have you ever heard of a game called Kreed? It was supposed to be a Doom 3 killer back in the day. I have yet to actually find a copy of it that is playable, but if you manage to find it I would love to see your take on it and see if it actually holds up
Haven't played it for a long time, but i will do again.
Hey mate Uber soldier(the first one only) was a return to castle wolfenstein clone it seemed pretty good at the time(had fun with it) ..ha..cheers
Kid from 2004: Mom I want Doom 3.
Mom: We have Doom 3 at home.
Kid has to settle with playing a budget F.E.A.R. at home.
Yous should take a look at Tron 2.0. Was written as a sequel to Trob, even with some of its actors repising their roles and I love the aesthethic of the game, they really perfected the original Tron's visuals
Hey, ever thought about making a video about divine divinity?
It's the first game in the divinity line and I really loved it back in the day
Lol, i had over 10,000 rounds for the flamethrower by the end of the game x'D (I've found a secret arsenal on some level which was just a couple of levels before the last one, and I think I somehow managed to pick up some of the flamethrower ammo that was stored in the closed weapon lockers right through their unopenable doors. Strangely enough, I couldn't pick up all the ammo and guns that were there in the same way, but only some of the guns and ammo boxes, while the rest of them remained in the same weapon lockers, and it only worked for the flamethrower, while there were other weapons, including the rocket launchers, shotguns, pistols and assault rifles, but i couldn't pick them up through the doors in the same way. Also, I never realised why sometimes i could pick up and carry more ammo for certain guns than seemed to be it's maximum amount. For example, if an assault rifle could have up to 250 rounds in reserve, i could only pick up assault rifles from enemies or weapon lockers until i have 250 rounds in reserve, and couldn't pick them up if i already have 250 in reserve, but i could still pick up ammo boxes and carry more ammo (300 or 350), but not always. Sometimes I could not pick up ammo boxes too if I already had 250 rounds. And sometimes i could continue to pick up ammo almost infinitely (like in the case of the flamethrower).
Can you do your fighters for the ps2? I had find memories of it despite the weirdness would be awesome to hear what you think of it!
That intro gave me chills. I miss the ps1
Hey Jarek! I've got a few suggestions for you: Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green, Pariah (these two are very mediocre, I think they'll make a great video!) and Frontlines: Fuel of War. I played all of them as a kid and would love to see you review them. Thank you in advance!
You should really try SiN from 1998, released weeks earlier than Half-life and got completely overshadowed. It was super ambitious and did quite a few things HL didn't... Lots of destruction bits, dynamic music, locational damage with skins, consoles you could even hack in with DOS knowledge, completion (or not) of objectives that change upcoming levels...
That's weird, I've never heard of this game, however I have it in my Steam library. Might give it a go over the weekend.
Doom3? You mean - that game whose engine was used to create The Dark Mod aka real Thief4?
And rather infamous Duck Nukem ForFeatherS?
But srsly - Doom3 was cool if not for the "bad breath range shotgun" trope
SpecShadow Doom - best shotgun of all time - Doom 3 - worst.
Man, if you ever get around to doing some sort of video on Project Snowblind, if you haven't already, that is, that would be awesome. Loved that game back in the day, but I'm sure I'm just viewing it through nostalgia glasses.
I'm sure its easily available on the cheap.
Wondering have you done an analysis on F.E.A.R. and its expansions? They are fun and the games mechanics are pretty cool as well as the A.I.
Looks like budget- F.E.A.R too, like the generic ennemies and some visual effect
How to get alcohol poisoning:
Take a shot of your favorite drink every time he says Doom 3 .
Before the 1.3 patch it was way harder. With that patch they reduce the health of enemy by 13% in easy and 10% in normal, they added 50% more damage to the headshot and increase the number of ammo that you can find on dead enemy.
Might I suggest Rogue Warrior, if you haven't played it already?
I do not recall the game being like this, my fond memories of it seems very vague now compared to my teen years lol
Dude can you cover The Sabouteur? You must know it. Anyway, if you will, thanks lots
Another game which I think would be really cool to look at would be Requiem Avenging Angel. Basically it's cyberpunk meets the Bible.
Why's the hammer sounded like it wants to play the Seinfield theme?
He attacc
He protecc
But most importantly
His review is perfecc
Do you take recommendations for multiplayer games?
i would really like to see a video on Vietcong. I think it's a forgotten gem.
uhm, what is that M41A Pulse Rifle with a chaingun barrel???
asmodeus
Damn dude, that’s exactly what it looks like. Just add a master key grenade launcher and an ammo read out and then it’s pretty much identical.
The assault rifle looks a bit like the one seen in the movie Deep Rising.
There’s a great original Xbox game called Brute Force that’s a third person squad shooter. Not sure if it’s even available through emulators on PC though
I'd really like you to try Frontlines, fuel of war
I played this way back and have very fond memories of it but I'm curious to see wether or not it's actually a good game
Have you ever played Tribes: Vengeance? It seems to have gone under the radar. I think you would like it.
Reminds me more of the first Red Faction by Volition with the evil corporation abusing its workers and doing things the Geneva convention would have a heart attack over.
That Olivia character looks like Amy from Amy's baking company that was on Ramsay's kitchen nightmares
Late comment, but I highly suggest you check out "I Am Alive". It's a survival-horror type game that came out back in 2012 developed and published by Ubisoft but seems to have gone completely unnoticed.
It's got a lot of interesting concepts that seem like they are super underwhelming and a fairly interesting story and setting. The color palette and art direction is also quite unique.
I... had no idea that V-Sync messes with your aim in most games. Wow.
Ever since I upgraded my PC, if I know I won't get much above 60fps in a game, or even if I get well above it, I just turn V-Sync on so that I get less tearing. You know, enjoy the power of the rig.
This will probably get buried, but have you taken a look at Midway's Area 51? The 2005 one, not blacksite. I really liked it, it did a lot that's not really common anymore so it's definitely worth a try
It’d be cool if you gave America’s 10 most wanted/Fugitive Hunter a fair go. It’s pretty dated and arcadey but it had some interesting features here and there that is like to know if they actually hold up well or if my kid brain just wasn’t picky.
Hey Jarek! One of my favorite FPS series of all time is Serious Sam, and I was wondering if you could do a video on it (any game of the series is all right).
P.S. I've also seen that you did some gameplays like 7 years ago, now I'm even more curious of what you think about it!
A game that you should play and review if you get a chance is black, it was so ahead of its time and it still stands up today, open levels, approaching missions in any way you like, nice guns. Definitely give it a go if you can I think it's worth it, would be awesome to get your thoughts on it though!!
Hey, would you mind checking out Silent Storm and its' sequel, Silent Storm: Sentinels?
This looks more like a modded Lithtech engine from fear, got some mad fear vibes here, especially with that leaning
I like this game . Can you tell other games made by the studio developed this game ??
The thing that strikes me the most is I just watched you kill tons of dudes and I cant remember what any of them looked like because you can barely even see them half the time.
Plot honestly reminds me of the first 2 Dead Space games
Have you done the Infamous series
Can you look at or play Will Rock? It's kind of poor man's Seious Sam, but that game is my childhood, so i would love if you cover it. Also, great video, as always.
Have you played chaser or bet on soldier or chrome yet? All neat gems
I actually plan on playing chaser next!
Hey jarek, have you ever played Dark Sector? Or Vanquish? Both are incredibly fun and underrated games, I think you'd enjoy them!
Game was actually fun when I first tried it when I was a kid.
Problem is, the gattling ammo for some reason is very low (or its just easily spent), so you're more likely to use the shotgun or pistol.
Also, there are supposed to be something like some "Spider"-looking enemies
They never appeared in the game, which is a shame because its the reason why I played it.
Try doing analysis on an obscure fps by the name of: Exodus From The Earth
Hey Jarek, can you please check out an FPS game called 'Pariah'?
It's made by Digital Extremes, the same people that made War Frame. As for Pariah itself, it's a fun little FPS game however has a lot of flaws and they show more and more further into the game.
You should try Alien Rage. it didn't review very well, and it's not a complete surprise why, the story is pretty badly told, but I love the feel of the combat and actual gameplay. I'd love to see what you think of it.
Feels more like F.E.A.R with slowmo powers and leaning etc
Looks interesting
Have you played Pariah (2005)?
