I prefer the gray looking black chrome. I'll try this on my cheap-o chrome/polished licence plate frame and if it turns out good then im black chrome'n all the chrome on my truck. ('95 F150 Eddie Bauer Edition [FYI- Top package in 95 & 96 so it's got a lot'a chrome $ polished metal!!!])
Although not it's intended surface, would this product work on wood? As silver spray paint can work on wood. Thanks for any thoughts or advice.
The way i make "black chrome"' is spraying a dark clear over chrome, it allows you to make it however dark or light you want

tryed it before for s&g's sprayed terrible hard to get on uniform leaves marks a PITA to get off

No way , that's why I said he can polish aluminum to get a chrome finish.

Duplicolor is great but is very expensive. I honestly don't believe you get what you paid for.
duplicolor chrome? lol. you just need a black base coat.
