His weapon the deadly Sata 😂
Bro! Yes.
Thank you Chris, I put it to the test and my air tank came out outstanding. Beautiful Black Chery. Keep Up the great work. Rey
Very cool! What I really love about the Createx lines, is that you can pretty much mix anything with anything.. A lot of creative freedom.
awesome, thanks!
Thank you very much. My dad taught me how to paint, before he passed away. I always appreciate new techniques and tips and tricks.
Awesome! We appreciate you sharing that, thanks for watching.
@@CreatexColors how much do you charge to do the entire car?
What an absolutely awesome affect, understated but so wicked in the sunlight. Thanks for sharing, I wanna try this so bad now.
thank you!
Insane! Love this on my lil 97 hardtop convertible mini Nissan truck! Just insane. Well done!
This is amazing!!! With the reflection of the light, the tanks have a deep 3-D effect. Great work.
Thank you
Thank you so much for sharing so much knowledge that is helping to change careers, by learning all of the techniques that you teach, and being able to provide paying customers with quality work and products. My eyesight has become way too poor to continue doing tattoos, after 40+ yrs in the industry, but with your help, I'll be able to support myself doing something I love and tinkered around with over the years. I could never charge money for anything less than quality work, and you always provide very thorough videos that I can understand easily and learn quickly. After I can finally afford corrective surgery I might not even go back into tattooing because I know I'll be very satisfied painting and airbrushing with your products, and your instructions to keep knowledgeable about everything that you teach. I'm gonna be going back thru your archived videos and binge watching everything that I haven't seen yet, and I really want to learn how to paint with water based automotive paints, if it's something that you recommend, and have videos that I can find to watch. I'm really just beginning this journey, and I hope it's a very fruitful experience, because I'm willing to do anything I need to do to get as good as I possibly can, because as you surely know..... there's no amount of money that equals the pride we feel when we do something amazing and make our customers happy. The money is just a side effect that allows us to keep doing what we do. Thanks again PEACE
I've just done a honda monkey tank with gold leaf and marbleing, there's certainly a fine line between not bad and WOW , love your work 👍🦘
Thank you!
I wish I knew about this technique when n I built my obs suburban. I wanted it black but with a hint of red. I always thought it'd be a pearl that made the effect... thank you for sharing this.
thanks
Great video! I remember a 65 Riviera lowrider that had this type of paint job in the late 60's in Socal. The entire car looked jet black until he turned the corner, then the side's lit up like nothing I had seen! Just one color after another would pop out at you
Great work. I’d love to see the new Corvette painted in that red.
I sure live this video and the effect. I have a 1953 Ford pickup. The murder red would look great on it. Now I have to find a shop that has experience doing this.
This might be my favourite so far. I have a 2010 Triumph Street Triple motorcycle that would show off this colour so well.
Awesome, please send us pics. Thanks.
CreatexColorsCo I’d love to paint it at some point. When I get round to it I’ll send some pics or did you mean just send some of the bike?
Once i get my dream car im definitely going to try to get that sparkle blue one. Thats looks amazing. This technique with a purple would look great too
thank you for watching!
Another great one man! You are one of the best sources for instruction on this subject. Thank you!
thank you for watching!
I did this last night on a guitar and it looks amazing. What a great way to use candy black!
Thanks!
Hi Chris excellent tutorial, I watched your video several times before attempting this paint scheme for my project Bike and it turned out awesome Thanks for the Informative videos Herman K NB Canada
thank you for watching
I've been trying to get a similar effect in the realm of polishing black dress shoes. But I've been having poor results so far. This helps quite a lot.I've got some new ideas that I'm excited to try!
Excellent, thanks for watching!
You are an excellent teacher my friend.
really killer effect !!! so beautiful thx for sharing art skill 👍👍👍
Thank you!
This is unbelievably cool! I really hope I'll be able to do this someday
Just get started and have fun with the process as you learn to paint things. Start small and simple, make test panels so you can learn from failures ahead of time, and give it time. Start with opaques and colors that cover so you can apply them evenly, and work up to pearls, then transparent and candy colors. Thanks for watching!
Came out beautiful
Thank you.
Wow your the man bro . What a really beautiful effect I tried it out over sparkle green and it came out just like how u show in your video . Great job bro . U r the man !!!
Thanks for watching!
If Chris wasn't here, I wouldn't be able to figure out a damn thing! Thanks Chris!
Thank you for watching!
That looks great. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks for watching!
Just had my bike done in the murdered candy red , its turned out amazing 👏
Awesome! thanks for letting us know
You have the coolest job.
Gracias
Hey Chris, Jerry here. It's been a while. I just re-watched this video and I'm going to give this a try on my neighbor kids ATV. As always you make it look so easy. I have had some great successes with the candy2O paints. now I'm going to try the hot rod sparkle. There still is no 4050 clear around here so I'm ordering it again. I did a small tank a while back with the candy2O blood red and I used some Molotow liquid chrome for my base. let it cure for about 30 days then the red candy20 over the liquid chrome and WOW. one light coat and then three medium coats and the depth was amazing. Three coats of clear and a little polishing and it looked really nice. I know iv'e told you before but thank you so much for these videos. Following your advice and your techniques has really stepped up my painting skills. I'm getting some really nice, professional looking finish products. Thanks again. Take care and Wishing you and yours a great 2023.
Awesome! Thank you for watching and sharing!
Dam. That's beautiful work my friend 👍👍
thanks for watching!
OMG.....it is totally freakin SCREAMING...just Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ so loveinging it 😱 I so want it ....

Obrigado pela legenda em portugues Brasil e ficou um trabalho impecável desde o local e a apresentação do video.
De Nada!
Looks fantastic 👍
thank you!
Wow that looks great.
Thank you
Nice deep finish, your the Paul Walker of the spray booth thats with the top down. Great vid👏👏
Looks sick. I think I’m going to try something like this on my channel. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I would love to have that blue on my already black triumph. 😍
Mad painting skills bro!
Thanks!
Looking good CC!
Thank you!
I love the Mr. Rogers style intro. Oh me? Just dropping some sparkle.
I can't agree more on the conservative use of black candy. I just got finished re-laying deep red over gold marble/black for a similar effect, and 1 coat of black candy was fine, but 2 was overkill. I would lean towards bright candies under black. The clear isn't going to magically bring the color back if you go overboard with the black.
If it goes black, it's just a very expensive black paint job.
Yeah, and once you go black...
You never go back?
Looks awesome
thanks!
Pretty much the color I want my car. Black as night with just a hint of red below
Was thinking Ferrari red but now you got me thinking. Cool effects!!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for this vid bro, great stuff, saludos from Mexico!
Hello from the U.S.A. and thank you for watching!
ok, that looks almost identical to my passat's Colorado Red Pearl LB3Y .... and i couldn't be more happy
cool! thanks for watching
How the pro's inspire. Nice work.👍
thank you!
I tried this color but without sparklers and used a silver base coat ..mines looks like a cranberry in the sun ...love paint videos ...
thanks
I have a pearl red Challenger RT that I always wanted to paint candy apple red ombre to almost black if I could ever afford it. After watching this I think this technic transitioning to maybe a deeper candy apple would look perfect. A woman can dream right.
Saved this video, hopefully in a few years my 2010 Jeep srt8 will be sporting that murdered candy red. 😍
thanks for watching
@@CreatexColors after looking at your website how do you think the murdered candy red would compare to the same thing only with cosmic sparkle red instead of hotrod sparkle red? Also, anything special about the autoborne sealer compared to traditional automotive black primer? Or since my Jeep is already brilliant black crystal pearlcoat could it be layered on top of that color? I think I see some speed shapes in my future! lol
That would look killer on our black Charger RT. We've already done the carbon fiber hood with a candy red overspray. I wish that I could upload a picture to show you the hood.
Awesome sick effect.
Thank you!
I want that paint gun. That looks amazing! thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
New Britain, CT here nice job man

The... the master of paint!
An apprentice to the masters, but thanks!
Would love to see gost flames and skulls with matalic 3D effect or a slight shift almost like heat pipes with skulls from Harley Davidson Beautiful work 💕💕💕💕😘
Thanks for sharing!
This paint looks bad ass!
thank you!
Thankyou for the idea sir,. New sub here from the philippines.😁
thanks for watching!
What can’t this guy do? Sins you’re a legend.
totally, thanks for watching
This should look great on guitars as well. Looks awesome!
thanks!
I like the way the gold is more subtle. My bike is Black Pearl and it has subtle blue flake in the sunlight. Almost too subtle though.
That's exactly what I'm looking for!!!!! but I'm curious if a much larger flake is possible in blue...????
Great work
thanks!
Nice cant wait really want to get into this but got to with this crap going around but man that looks good bro. When I get back to work I'm definitely getting me that harder and Steinbeck and some of those colors to play with.👍😎👍
thanks for watching!
Very cool stuff here , my Victory Vegas 8 Ball is a very nice black, Boring!!!!!. Thank you, I’m going to go the blue and theme my bike Blue on Black!! I love that song. Thanks Bro
welcome, thanks for watching
Excellent video..
thanks
Awesome color! I'm sensitive to isocynades, and see you using just a dust mask. Is that just because you're only spraying a small amount? Or is the product iso free? Beautiful color and effect, can't wait to try it!
All Createx paints, including candy2o, are water-based and isocyanate-free. Thank you.
DAMN!! This is EXACTLY what I wanted to do to a Softail which I've just sold!! Never did paint it as I never found the right colour.
Beautiful. 👀
Thank you!
Outstanding,
thanks!
Excellent job bro have a question have 63 impala going to paint it black what pearls ghost pattern to use thanks
I love the metal flake and pearl paint jobs but they are just so difficult to lay down right. Nice job!
Thank you.
that's cool video. Thank You
Thank you for watching!
Cool video! Question though, how would it look to do the hot rod sparkle white and then the blood red coat? Would the red pearl be brighter overall or just about the same?
Im after the same effect but want it to be more RED than burgundy/black cherry in the light.
Thanks! Hot Rod Sparkle White will create more of a magenta-hue pearl. Try experimenting with how much candy Black is applied over the candy red - Hot Rod Sparkle Red, however as this technique is applied over a black base so the value of the red will be dark compared to a traditional pearl red finish.
I have a set of alloys, media blasted, that are 'ripe' for that murdered candy black look. As a newbie to the candy paint (been shooting clear, base and some single stage whites) I've been looking for a Candy Prep how to but they're surprisingly hard to find. Also, the terminology and typical fast pace of the YB clips tend to gloss over (if you pardon the pun) the mixing and timing details. Can you direct me to a how to mix and prep candy tutorial? Love that murdered candy with a red kicker coat.
For candy2o mix ratios and application information, please review the candy20 tech data sheet available at www.candy20.com where there also a video showing how to reduce and mix candy20. For preparation and general application information, please review the Hard-Surface & Automotive Application Guide available at www.creatextech.com. Lastly, our RUclips channel has several videos showing how to mix and spray candy20, which along with our Hard Surface Painting Basics video should be helpful. Thank you.
Need this on my dually
I want the same but purple on my harley. I've been looking for this for 3 years now.
thank you
Me too
where you located
That is awesome
thank you!
damn, I want my fender Jag painted that red color
Oh man this looks sick I need a green version of this haha
awesome, thanks for watching
Love the finished look. It's exactly the look I've been trying to find.
Just wondering if you have ever used this type of paint on anything wood?
Yes, AutoBorne Sealer and candy2o are excellent direct to wood and used often for applications such as wood guitar refinishing. Thank you.
I have a 97 tl1000s that’s Pearl Novelty Black. It’s same style. Looks black most of time but in sunlight it’s a deep blue metallic. Beautiful color and expensive OEM. can you match closely?
Nece work 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️ love from India
thanks for watching!
Super nice
thanks!
Would you be able to use the standard black on a motorcycle tank, fairing, side panels and saddlebags as your base coat? I am getting an idea 💡.
Yes, Createx paints including candy2o can be applied direct to a back finish; prepare by scuffing 600-grit. For more, please refer to our Automotive & Hard-Surface Application Guide available at www.creatextech.com. Thank you.
Sick I am going to try this with some green on my lowrider
thanks!
Chris, love your work! Keep it coming. Question: when painting model cars like this, would you go with the larger hot rod sparkle or the finer cosmic sparkle with a smaller scale substrate and airbrush?
Murdered candy works with both the larger pearl-flake sized Hot Rod Sparkle, and smaller Cosmic Sparkle, which may work better for scale models. Thank you.
I was thinking about doing something like this with my E36 with a black base with a white micro flake, reflective mid coat, tinted coat over the mid coat, then clear. But was at the dealership today and saw the grey they're putting on their cars now and started reworking ideas for the upcoming paint job.
Do you have any idea if this would work over a mid/dark grey with a white/blue flake mix, a very light blue tint, and a black tint, topped with clear?
Please make a test panel to determine the resulting finish. Thank you.
Is it correct to say that you sprayed the first 4 coats with nothing but HotRod Sparkle Red. Then 2 coats of mixture of HotRod Sparkle Red and BloodRed? I ask because that's the step you added after the first four coats at 2:28.
thats rad.
thanks
That red is clean. Can you do this over OE black paint (of course not before prepping the paint)? I'm on the edge of doing this on my Caddy.
Yes. Apply UVLS Clear first, direct to the factory black finish as an adhesive ground coat. Thank you.
This would look AWESOME on my 2K S2K and it won't change too much because it's already black/black.
cool
