Ohhhh man… so I’m just doing the same thing with ours…. Wanted to wait for warmer weather ( it’s mar 1/24) but we heard an animal of some kind scurrying back there so I just ripped out the wall 🤣🤣
Thanks so much for posting this video. I am documenting our trailer rv Reno as well. It’s not as overwhelming if u just do a chunk at a time 🤣🤣🤣

So helpful! I’m getting ready to put more insulation in 5th wheel wall/headboard. Lights in wall was a Big???
Most headboard redo’s just cover old. My wall separated from base so it’s a totally different situation.

Also did you determine source of leak for sure? We were thinking of eternabond also rather than try to.recaulk every seam. Do you guys reseal entire fiberglass roof or just dicor around all and end cap.

Hi there! I just watched this! We have exact same think happening in exact same camper! So frustrating! Ours isn't quite as extensive across back. We're you concerned about back right corner board? We are not removing driver side wall either because it seems solid. But have delam on that back driver side too. I'm feeling really overwhelmed! Also we are feeling a little afraid to remove styrofoam because we didn't want to disturb Luan on other side. Should we do that?

I am wondering the same thing!! As I am removing the foam ( bit by bit) I can see the sunlight from outside… how far do I go? Should I b leaving that bottom layer of that seams to b stuck on the outside? Also if I leave that is it ok to paint it with KILLZ?
      Help!🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for this video! I just had to tear out a portion of our wall and area above the cab where there is a bed 😫 I noticed you mentioned you all replaced the styrofoam with insulation- is that pretty standard? I was trying to figure out if I needed to replace that styrofoam and I haven’t found anything online about it. Thank you!

Yup. Usually styrofoam would be replaced also. It doesn't dry out, so the moisture would be trapped inside the wall
