Nice! Simple do it yourself tips its good for everyone.People should help themselves more oftten rather than wait for compagnies to work for them .And what a nice feeling when you did it yourself!
I’ve been looking for good four season truck campers. The only ones I find all have some form of water damage which has kept me from being interested. But having some confidence from building normal houses and after watching your video I can see that it doesn’t have to be as daunting. I found a nice 95 alpenlite 11’ for $3500
What if you don't have a straight wall to repanel. The shell front where I sleep is kind of rounded, it has a slight bend, so I'm not sure what kind of bendable board I can find once I take out the damaged plywood.
Did you use carpeting because the original wall paper/covering is no longer available from Fleetwood. I have a Southwind also with water damage in the same area.
Thank you so much for sharing this project! This is exactly what I needed to know to fix one portion of our wall.
SAME I only need patch work everybody else is tearing whole walls 😂

Great explanation of how to! Most videos don't get into the depth that you do. Great.
I'm moving into an RV and this was extremely helpful!
Thank you could you let me know what type thickness of wood you used please.
I’m doing this, the carpeting is a great idea cause my rotted wall is in the drivers area too
Thanks man gave me the confidence to do my travel trailer roof and wall.
thank you one of the better videos on this. now i can tackle this job..
Great video, answered many questions

Same boat, thankfully there are tons of videos walking you through how to fix.
Great little quick fix. Very interesting ...
Thanks
THANK YOUUUUU!
Great info. I need to know!!
Where do you buy matching wall paper for the patch jobs?
Is there a video where you identify and repair the source (s) of the water intrusion?
Any future repair plans to reattach the exterior filon to the luan? That’s my spring project on my ‘96 Coachmen.

What kind of wood do I use if I'm replacing a part of my wall on the back part of rv?
Did you ever figure out what kinda wood he uses?

All Fleetwoods do that there. Condensation. That's not from leaks.
It's the front cap collecting condensation.
What do I do if the metal beams are rusted out ?
The beams in wall construction for campers are aluminum so they shouldn’t rust at all let alone rust to the point of not even being usable
Well done,.
thanks, im gonna do mine!
Crazy how deep water can get on n RV
I would have used some Red Guard on the back of the wood to seal an offer future leak protection.
The problem with that is your sealing from inside out. You may keep that water out of the interior but then it’s trapped in the wall
What kind of carpet did u use for the wall
Are you gonna work on roof? I need help on that...
What kind of paneling did you use
1/8"
All campers end up leaking and falling apart i feel like they should all come with a free 32 gauge pin nailer
If you lay it flat & get it damp it will remove all creases
