Love your videos. Would you please provide the SKU number of the shades you got at Home Depot. 2004 Brave 32V here and yes, I hate the window treatments too! Pain. In. The. Butt! LOL
I’ve tried peel n stick options so many times and I just cannot get it to stay attached. It’s so frustrating. I wish people would share HOW they get it to stick.
Me, too. Ditto Command hooks and the like. They stick on for a few days, and then the next time I see them, they're on the floor - face down, of course - and nearly impossible to get unstuck from the floor!
I have a peel & stick backsplash that has been up for three years in deep South heat and humidity and extreme cold. P&S wallpaper, on the other hand, NO luck!
Hi -I wanted to ask if your shower was cream/yellowed due to age and if you had painted it or left it alone and its current condition?? We are finishing up a 25 yr old Fleetwood Discovery and reading up on what to do with the darkened shower or leave alone. Wanted to get your input. Thank you!
I've been enjoying your videos for years now. I have always been curious about what you do about seat belts. I know most states require seat belts. Do you just hope you don't get pulled over?
just wondering what the effects of all these changes have had on your gross and tare and combined weights? have you ever driven over a set of scales to check? In Australia. it is believed that around 80% of vehicles are overloaded. I'm wondering what the figures are for America. it is very easy to underestimate what things weigh, especially when long term travelling.
The whole idea of “DIY” is it’s not professional 🤔💜 Anyway your RV looks great, as a person that doesn’t have an RV, I’m still shocked about the whole RV age discrimination thing.
What you have done has taken 15 years off your RV's life. It does not look 20 years old. One of these days ask the kids to tell us about how they like their new beds and storage areas. Also, hindsight about how you might have changed the design if you were to do it again would be interesting. I have some attractive textured light wallpaper on the wall of my RV, but at least for now, I wouldn't paint it because it never occurred to me. But it's good to know I could. My ceilings are 7' high in the slides and 9' in the main part. Do you have any storage areas that are so high you cannot even reach them?

You bet!
Better be careful if your kiddos get any bigger they will need you to pull a camper behind the motorhome lol!
Right!?!
Oooh these are some great options and ideas for updates. I want to make many updates to ours!! Where to start in the next decision! 😂
Totally!

@@TrishBenedict Yes! No prob sticking to floor or anothing other than the wall.
Prep is key! Making sure to clean the area
@@GratefulGlamper Yup. Done. The peel n stick stays up for 3days max, then separates from the wall. Sticks to everything else, but not the walls. 🫤🤔

We didn't do anything to the shower - thankfully it's not yellowed over time.
@@GratefulGlamper thanks for the info Always like to get input from others 😊

In our motorhome, we replaced our couch and chair.
I ordered new belts on Amazon and my husband installed them.
The dinette will have seatbelts, so they could sit there.
Did you redo your casement of your slide outs ? If you did could you explain how you did it
Yeah we did replace the slide trim with pine boards
Was it fairly easy ? Or hard
fairly easy!

Yes, we weigh our rig at a cat scale about 2x per year
I wish I could just paint over the wall paper in our RV. It’s peeling in many places… so I’m not really sure of what to do….
If the wall paper is peeling, there could be water damage
@@GratefulGlamper it doesn’t look like there’s water damage, but I’m definitely going to make sure. I do NOT want mold. ☹️

Were your closet doors mirrored? We just bought a 5th wheel with mirrored closet doors and we hate them!
Put chalk paint over the mirrors
How do you feel about buying an RV/camper that needs work?
It depends on the extent of the work - the biggest thing it to make sure it doesn’t have extensive water damage or frame damage

The ceilings are not very high in our motorhome so thankfully we don’t have any areas that are unreachable.
