    The Kinekt suspension seatpost is a great addition to any bicycle but especially to ebike riders.

    So, what do you think? Is this an accessory you would add to your ebike?

      Definitely going to get a dropper seat post as I have a damaged leg so I don't stand on my toes so well anymore. Thinking of spending the money for the suspension dropper combination. Not sure yet.

    Suspension seatpost are a game changer. I have the SR Suntour NCX and it did genuinely make a huge difference, to the comfort.

    I have one on my RadRover 5 and it rides smoother than my full suspension Raliegh Ram mountain bike. Catch them on sale at the end of the year. Definitely a smooth ride.

    I just had my first ride on my electrified Trek Verve 3 build. BBS02, 48v, 20ah premium battery. Put a Selle Royal saddle on it and a Thudbuster LT. The Thudbuster is a large heavy unit and if i'd seen this video i might have chosen this one.

    Certainly would like to see a review of by.Shultz G.2 in english since most are in German and if it had subtitles aren't clearly done properly. G.2 suspension system looks well thought out and assembly is easy to maintain.

    Great Review! How much extra post length do I need to accommodate the KINEKT Bike Suspension Seat post? I’m concerned that after installing a Suspension Post, I will have raised the seat too high to be able to mount it easily. Than

    My new Katmandu came with an 'BySchulz G.2 Parallelogram Suspension Seatpost, 30.9mm'. Seems good to me

    Hi Arnie! Thanks for the review. Definitely looking to purchase a suspension seat post this year.
    May I ask, why the switch from Thudbuster to Kinekt?

    • @e-BikeLife
      @e-BikeLife  3 года назад +2

      More than anything, it’s that I like to try new things. But, I do like the ability to fine tune the Kinekt in two ways, with the springs and the screw preload.

    Great review, I wonder how much different seat posts vary in quality and performance. Obviously they vary in price but does this mean you get what you pay for? The reason I ask this is I changed my standard Gazelle suspension seatpost for a Suntour SP12 and was so impressed. Would changing to the Kinekt be a good step up in ride quality from the Suntour? A big price difference in any case but comfort is crucial on long rides especially now I'm 65 yrs old.

      A good question. I never used the Suntour, so I can’t address that. I did have the Thudbuster and thought it quite good until I got the Kinekt. It offers a much smoother experience than the Thudbuster and is more easily adjustable with its screw mechanism.

    bit old fashioned and out of date, for that price point i went with the foxx shock seat post. the liquid hydro&gas compression pretty much removes all vibration as well as making my ride pretty darn smooth...almost butter.

    I weight 180 lbs but the LR high end is 180 lbs and the XR low end weight is 180 lbs. What would you recommend LR or XR?

      I would go with the one that offers range above your weight.

    I think, it would be something to consider, BUT, it’s not because you feel pain, that you need suspension. You have to consider this: on your bike, is this the good sadle for you. In a boutique, did you measure the distance between your seatbones! If you don’t have the right sadle for you, you will feel pain. Does your sadle is at the appropriate height? Etc… there are a lot of things to consider before buying the suspension. If everything was ok, according to a person who knows the subject and you still have pain, only him can help you in the choice of a suspension. Whith all the respect i have for the person on the video, if something is good for him, it doesn’t mean it will be good for you. I say it again, yes a suspension could help some person…
