  • The Kinekt Suspension Seat Post by Cirrus Cycles is a high quality seat suspension system based on a parallelogram design which moves with the whole body as the rider pedals over all types of terrain, providing a better connection from the rider to the surface and with the bike as a whole. Founder Paul Barkley was inspired by the isolation concept of the Softbike ride design and built a prototype of his idea to test on the dirt roads of Uganda. Yielding improved comfort and performance over long distance trails and road trips. There are two models available: Aluminum for $249.99 and a Carbon Fiber version for $329.99 offering lighter weight and less vibration while riding.
    This seat post provides lots of support and shock absorption which would normally be traveling up and absorbed by the spine. This post is ideal for road riders that want extra vibration & shock support while going over bumps, uneven road & other bouncy obstructions. For mountain bike riders, adjust the seat to the lowest level for maximum cushioning to help you over rough uneven terrain and land your jumps more comfortably. This is a great addition to a hard tail mountain bike and maneuvering into patches where the feet and butt can be bucked off from all the energy that travels up into the back, shoulders and arms.
    These posts can be installed on all seats and styles of bikes. Each one is made to the size of the bike's seat post diameter which you send to Cirrus when placing your order for a proper fit. With a low setting of one going up to eight for a tighter response to going over bumps and obstacles, it is fully adjustable to each rider;'s preferences. This seat post is adaptable to E-Bikes, Road Bikes, Hybrid & Mountain, Folding and Cruisers too!

    Thanks for the info. Good to see the up down in action. I’m no lightweight so will get the XL and long post (420mm?) for folding Aventon Sinch e-bike. I already have the sleeve, Aventon’s are odd diameter, 30.4mm from memory. Love my step through e-bike with retiree aged rickety legs!!! Spine wants less shocks. With this, probably could put more air in fat tires and reduce rolling resistance, therefore, further before battery depleted. I sure would appreciate if like $150. This is a bite. But if more comfort, less pain……. Does it SQUEAK ?? Will it make noises 3 years from now??

      The action should not squeak unless some kind of debris got into it which is not likely to happen. They can also be replaced if you find it has worn out after a while.

    Hi! Did you tried in the top of stiffer? In the maximum tightness? It’s because I want a mix into street 70% and mountain 30%. And you know, in large street it’s better a like no suspension at all…

    I wish to know what are those sides Allen keys do for ? Should i loosing them or what . I tried to unscrew the back Allen key because it came very stiff but nothing happen until i loosen out those side Allen keys . But should be loosen or tighten ? That is the question . Because I dont want to lose them on the street . Thanks for showing us .

      Hi Mario,
      The center screw is the only one you need to adjust for tension tuning. I would leave the other keys alone as they hold the unit together.
      I recommend sitting on the bike to see how it behaves under your weight and adjust accordingly. Let me know how this goes!

      @@radicalelectricmotorcycles I was trying to find out the total height of the suspension mechanism in inches. Thanks anyway though. I will try and find the answer somewhere else. You either didn't understand the question or are unwilling answer it for some reason. Not a problem.

      @radicalelectricmotorcycles  3 года назад +2

      @@jmac4952 I see! Thank you for understanding, I misinterpreted your question.
      The suspension rests with about 3 inches of maximum travel, and depending on the strength of the spring being used this will travel less down the post for a more firm option if desired. 👍
      Is is just travel that is of concern? Please add any other comments so I can get you the information you need 👊

      @brianbassett4379 3 года назад

      @@Stoicexpression Finding the right seat for your butt is of the utmost importance but you might still want a suspended seat post, but replacing the seat is the right place to start. I started with a traditional Brooks leather saddle and got tired of worrying about, and maintaining it so I got a Selle SMP Martin Touring saddle. What I disagree with is people trying to tell you (sell you) that a suspended seat post is as good as a suspended bike so they can make a few pennies for themselves.
