It's not about sanity, the joker is super sane not insane. It's more about finding your place in society. You can tell he carries a weight on his shoulders going up the stairs as he's explaining how he doesn't know how he fits in. Then when he talks about how he realizes the way the world works and his role in it, the weight is lifted symbolized by dancing down the stairs that used to represent the weight of the world he felt like he was carrying, at least that's how I see it.

this is from Batman origin. Batman movie does so well in critics because most of Batman movie is Oscar worthy. it simulate the real world so well. it isn't just a normal superhero movie. it isn't about DC. it's about Batman. so i bet this new Joker movie won't be a disappointment

The work and the acting in the trailer is amazing. His body language, all skinny an wrecked. How nice, weak and vulnerable he looks taking care of his mum and how scary and disturbed he is slowly becoming at the end while trying to overcome all this bad things happening. Its really touching and the music and colors (this bluish orange auras around him ) are beautiful.

It seems like at the beginning you’re the hero of the story and hard and more questionable things happen to you and you’re just left alone at the end becoming the villain all along. That’s the feeling this trailer gave me.
This movie could not only change the DC cinematic universe forever, but it could also be such a big influence that it could make many previously released comic books movies adaptation look outdate with their dozens of 2D characters. So maybe we'll refer to Joker as a mavie that started of new area. An area of comic book movies that will take us back to the basics, a handfull of amazingly well developed and acted characters that will involve us to the point that we will totally feel for them. This movie looks beautifully wicked! The 2 scenes that stand out are his walk up the concrete steps with him just looking defeated and broken. Then him later coming down the same steps reborn as The Joker! I can't wait to see this movie!

It seems like at the beginning you’re the hero of the story and hard and more questionable things happen to you and you’re just left alone at the end becoming the villain all along. That’s the feeling this trailer gave me.

This movie could not only change the DC cinematic universe forever, but it could also be such a big influence that it could make many previously released comic books movies adaptation look outdate with their dozens of 2D characters. So maybe we'll refer to Joker as a mavie that started of new area. An area of comic book movies that will take us back to the basics, a handfull of amazingly well developed and acted characters that will involve us to the point that we will totally feel for them. Joker movie looks that good to me. Pure art!

Everybody is too busy comparing Joaquin Phoenix's take on the Joker with actors who have managed to play him in the past such as Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger, both of whom I have tremendous respect for. Everyone loved Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. I've seen every variation but this is the first time I've felt sympathy and compassion for the Joker. Acting and soundtrack seem above and beyond. Great reaction vid!

This movie looks beautifully wicked! The 2 scenes that stand out are his walk up the concrete steps with him just looking defeated and broken. Then him later coming down the same steps reborn as The Joker! I can't wait to see this movie!
