I love the Cobalt paint package. In my humble opinion it’s the best of the three options. This is a gorgeous unit however, there were a couple of things I think should’ve been done considering the cost. One is replace the cheap Furrion stove with the 4 burner Insignia stove. Number 2 is I prefer a full profile roofline and Montana’s do not have that. While the roof in the back doesn’t slope down as much as a Cougar, any slope just makes it look like a lower end fifth wheel. Again it’s just my opinion. Also there should be an on demand water heater. Thank you for your hard work Josh! It’s much appreciated!!!
Gorgeous unit, definitely a "full-timers" layout and configuration. Would be an ideal couples unit who live and work full-time on the road. That's a beauty Walt!
Josh, your videos are the most detailed out there. It’s so appreciated for those of us that don’t have access to see these rvs in person. I truly appreciate the detail your provide. Thank you so much!
👍👍for the barn door. Love the interior decor & exterior color. Josh for my wife & I’s retirement fifth wheel this one checks almost all of boxes, need to make it longer for a half bath, don’t want to lose the bonus boom. Keep’m coming, have yourself a great day today
I think heartland is the only brand I have seen out a half bath off the bonus room but it required stealing from the living and kitchen to do it. Became a peninsula counter and less cabinet space As I recall the half bath was also pretty tight But there’s only so much room and sometimes you have to get creative like that
Wow! What an eye catching good looking rig! I'll take that paint job anytime! I'd use the bonus room for my studies and library. Sliding doors - YES! Insignia oven would be better suited for this quality camper. I prefer a "regular" sink in bathroom not that raised up thing! What? What?!!! Pet screen? We definitely need that with our newly acquired climbing kittens! Best to you and your family Josh!
@@JoshtheRVNerd I've been looking for anything that's got a place for a desk and rear underneath storage. Underneath storage dies add length but does reduce ceiling space in rear interior.
My favorite part is that the bonus room office is actually useful. I'd pull out the sofa and put in bookshelves and maybe a file cabinet, but otherwise this is a great layout for my purposes.
As close to perfection as I have seen, and it has a far more luxurious look with the current decor than it would have with the long in the tooth farmhouse decor👍👍👍
Uncle Josh I love this Montana, the cobalt paint package on it is hot. They truly out done their self with this fifth wheel. You are right Uncle Josh this is amazing awesome out of this world. The awesomeness is straight coming out no doubt. Thank you Uncle Josh for bringing us the most amazing an awesome fifth wheels, travel trailers, and motorhomes. You are the man Uncle Josh, I can't wait to see what you do next.!!! Leonard Nelson from NC your number one fan.!!!
Josh, can you tell the manufacturers to make the height of the office shorter, so there's more height in the loft? The office doesn't need height, since 99% of the time you'll be sitting down in there, or the kids will want it as their playroom.
I feel like it’s one of those things a builder will never do in a way that pleases everyone but I get what you’re saying. The lofts often feel restrictive for sure
Love this unit Josh but the floor vents - esp in the office right where the chair pushes back onto... Thanks for sharing - one of my favorite floor plans!
yeah the venting is still one of those polarizing things. I fully understand the preference against them but they're still hands-down the superior method of effectively heating the RV evently in a cold-camp situation. BUT that doesn't matter for some folks like me who aren't camping when the snowflakes are flying! That's why I like carrying so many different RVs! :)
I like those flip out beds so much better then the pull out sofa bed style. Maybe I just have bad flash back from sleeping on pull out sofas as a youngin
Hurt me Josh. Hurt me. Guess I'm gonna go out and get that lotto ticket. Seen lots of posts lately saying if you win the lottery, which RV are you buying. Welp, found it.
Man, that is really NICE! You are spot on with the depth of the tabletop in the "office" Too many mid-bunks have that tiny little shelf in the extra room and they call it a desk. My *only* negative on this one is that it looks like only duallys need apply. I am trying to avoid that if I can.
Yeah middle bunks typically require a bigger vehicle like that. The lightest of them still really require a single rear wheel 1 ton typically just to help with their length and handling
I don't think they could have put the floor vent in the bonus room in a worse place. Thanks for being entertaining and informative as always, still hunting for my Unicorn.
Floor vents are a little bit tricky sometimes because the heat ducting is a straight run. And with floor joist that run north south along the RV they can’t always just turn them and place them where they would like without either sacrificing floor integrity or airflow. I’m not trying to defend the positioning at all as I really don’t disagree with you, but rather simply explaining the how behind the what
Really like the barn doors. It would be nice if the window in the loft and over the stove opened for ventilation, we are not a big fan of air conditioning. Thank you for showing the slides in.
Wow! This is amazing! I would choose the farmhouse decor. The only change I would make is to have the bathroom sink recessed and not a vessel sink. Otherwise, near perfection. Too big for my personal needs but very good for a couple or family doing a lot of traveling.
Awesome floor plan and the bonus room is great. The only thing I don't expect to see in a coach at this price point is floor vents, they missed the mark there. But everything else is great.
They keep them rather intentionally actually. Floor vents provide more even heating without hot cold spots. I understand the desire for no floor vents of course which we see in things like our grand design and alliance models There are certain things like that which seem to be very polarizing and I’m just glad we carry good products that build both ways
Very nice floor plan; lots of great touches. Love the outdoor kitchen sink & power cord reel! Appreciate simple & light colored exterior color schemes. Not a fan of that bathroom vessel sink or in floor vents that collect dirt, hair, fur and all things that clog your sinuses ... Like the bonus room as is; do not know if practical, but wish the sofa desk were swapped for window behind desk. Like that loft bed, BUT! Only 300 lbs? I can even see that that not being enough for my active grandsons antics. Would like to be able to use loft bed for adults on occasion.... Thanks for producing your videos.
We full time in this model. Non legacy package though, didn't see a reason to upgrade to it. It looks nice though. Our biggest complaint about it is the kitchen storage space is smaller than our old Class A. Our loudest praise is how comfy it is in all weather thus far. Energy efficiency is night and day above our Class A. We've been in 95 degree days and 25 degree nights. Kept the camper a toasty 67 at night sipping the propane, and a cool 73 during the heat wave. I did insulate the pass through floor with spray foam and 2 inch poly to add some extra ooph to it. I don't necessarily recommend doing this as the front now stays significantly cooler or warmer than the back, causing dualling ACs/Furnaces/banjos.
Nice... Bonus room AKA liquor brewing & storage room. Nice interior colors. Fridge residential s=type is nice. Exterior color needs to be while or cream color
This one ticks off a lot of boxes, and I'm looking for a decent 'office' type rig. Not many do the office thing well or right, and while not perfect, it's probably the best I've seen.
I’d possibly put this expensive thing in the dream 5th wheel category lol. Maybe when it depreciates in 5 years I’ll have the funds for the truck and this bad boy

We are looking for a mid bunk. Trying to decide between Montana, Jayco Pinnacle, Jayco NorthPoint, and Solitude. Full time What’s your preference? Im good to spend more money for quality, but looking a good bang for buck.
I have not (yet) personally had a chance to put my hands on the solitude But looking a more common floor plan Iike the 3121/310/310 comparison.. It’s virtually a coin toss. They’re all in that market superior category It will come down to some really fine point personal preferences. Slide flooring, color choices, smart tech vs direct buttons, tire selection.. only a few small details really define them
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you for your input! Think we’ve decided on the NorthPoint 377RLBH, mainly from your great videos and info. Thanks for your videos. Have any new NorthPoint 377RLBH in stock?
Very nice coach! Really like the exterior paint! One thing about the Solar Flex 400i package..........While I was looking at the info for another Keystone trailer (Cougar 22MLS) I checked out some of the details of the 400i package. One thing I noted is that according the the fine print on the Keystone web site, the outlet for the microwave is not connected to the inverter wiring on the 400i solar package, even though the package includes a 2000W inverter (brand of inverter not specified). I suspect that this is because the inverter may not be able to handle the inrush current of the microwave oven when it first turns on. Being that powering the microwave oven off grid is one of the primary reasons I would want an inverter in an RV, this is somewhat of a disappointment for me. Guess it pays to read the fine print. Other than that I like the 400i package.
@@JoshtheRVNerd I agree........it seems to be a good package with some really good equipment included. I just assumed that because the package included a 2000W inverter, it would be wired to run the microwave. If I would have purchased this package not knowing it doesn't, I would have been really disappointed as powering the microwave would have been one of the primary purposes that I would have had for buying the inverter in the first place. That being said, perhaps it would be more cost effective to add an additional 200W solar panel and the Victron current shunt to the 200i system that is included with the trailer, and skip the inverter. But that is just me.
Josh, what’s MSRP on that if I may ask that here? The wife and I are currently in a High Country that we love, but are talking about an upgrade in a year or two. I love the full body paint for ease of upkeep. So something like that may be the way we go.
Apologies - I don’t have hard pricing info on these but I would estimate MSRP on a loaded loaded one like this could be around 130-140ish?? A team member could verify
I have a camper that weighs 7200 pounds I’m currently towing out with an F250 a 2010 supposedly my max toe is 16,000 pounds I’d like to get a 450 just for the reason of the turning I understand that is a better turning vehicle than either the Chevy or the ram just my opinion which might not be worth anything but just for me I’d like the turning radius
So this is my question; if I pull up in my 2500 diesel that has a payload of 3500lb and can tow 18500. Will you guys let me purchase this trailer and pull off
Hi Josh. What a beautiful rig! I wanted to let you know that the link above does not go to the Montana site, but goes to NEW 2022 ATC TRAILERS GAME CHANGER 2015 site.
Despite this being brand new it looks like we are already sold out. Apparently the rv unrecorded didn’t last long Our team can assist with figures for these loaded up legacy models with paint or something more conventional If I had to wolf guess this one’s MSRP, then maybe 130-140ish?? I don’t handle pricing usually and don’t have a great feel for things though
Montana better compares with North Point actually. Pinnacle would be a stage beyond with a little extra glorification. I have a few videos here that are slightly dated but might be helpful: Montana vs. North Point: bit.ly/3PqKrON North Point vs. Pinnacle: bit.ly/3PqKrON
Great video Josh. Recently started looking for something like this and as you mentioned, this one has it all. Since this one has already sold and you seem to be very familiar with this brand, would you know if there are any differences between the 2021 and the 2022 model year for this legacy? BTW, you failed to mention that the Legacy comes with disc brakes which in my opinion is a nice feature as well, I think. That mid office/bedroom is just what we were looking for an brought this one to our attention over many others.
There were very few significant changes on the legacy package from the 21 to 22 model year But with all the different RVs I see over so much time I also can’t tell you that I remember every single variance from every model year And there’s really not a great resource the tracks what has changed from year to year sadly
I like this unit a lot. However, for us short people - those over the window shelves for phones, waters, etc are quite literally a pain. Didn’t see if it is dishwasher prepped - as a full time unit I’d like that.
it is nice. the paint looks good. it is a nice layout , though not the layout i would choose for me. that is me though. with the hitch weight this would be in F450 or F550 or equivalent range right? good vid
What's the difference in the 3023 or even a 2024 model if they have one alot of people say keystone sucks why would they say that the 2023 is probably the best of this option cause this is the best I've seen unless you're willing to spend over 300k
Sorry I'm having a hard time discerning what you're seeking. 3023.. model? Whatever the case know that Montana is the single best selling fifth wheel in the history of history. I won't claim their perfect. But a lot of the "Keystone" based info you've heard is most likely not related to Montana specifically. But folks have difficulty understanding each brand of keystone is a totally separate team and production crew
With all that great engineering they couldn’t figure out how to move/hide the floor vents that we have to continually walk on? That get bent and creak. Very nice otherwise...
Is this really quality made for full time what upgrade options do they have and what are the dimensions plus floor plan picture isf you can send it plus how much is it
Sounds like what you need is one of our local team members. I'm not in sales myself. Drop our team a note at www.bishs.com/contact-us and they can assist you
Okay.... Tell me.... The quality and luxury features between This Montana Legacy compared to Jayco Pinnacle or even let's talk about the North Point.... where do they stand next to each other???? I know, I know... Dad loves his Montana's but what do you think being unbiased opinion of the three in comparison with the same floor plans???? The time is right around the corner come the 15th when this place closes and we need to get off the pot really really soon!!!
It’s tough because they’re the same but different you know?? I think if we were comparing pure final fit and finish I give the nod to Montana but I don’t think north point does badly by any means The jaycos have a few more widgets and wizbangs but sometimes it just complicates things or opens up opportunities for device failure Whereas Montana is often pretty straightforward forward yet just.. works
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks Josh. I do appreciate you. I hadn't really been looking much at the Montana brand at all until the wife had this one showing and caught my attention immediately. Still don't know what I'll name the yt channel yet but kinda thought of one... "ADVENTURES WITH 1ST CLASS WHITE TRAILER TRASH". We will be traveling the 49 interesting states, as we search for the higher class things of this country like "WORLDS LARGEST BALL OF TWINE" and others of that nature.... Likely be heading towards the MIchigan area as well at some time. Would love to shake your hand, maybe take y'all to a dinner with a couple refreshing drinks or something as well if you are not concerned about those out here that are "fans' of you and maybe some might be a bit too demented like my wife says of me... She lies! Thanks again for your response to my inquiries sir. Much appreciated. We do the "bud light" thing. So, when it happens, you'll have to tell me which one it is for you!!! lol
Apologies Bryan - the specs the MFG provides are listed at the start of the video. For anything else I need to refer you to a local team member. I don't have one of these available to me right now.
Things like enhanced accessibility are so incredibly uncommon There are aftermarket upfits like chair lifts but sadly the industry is not very accommodating in this respect Only a small number of Motorhomes tend to offer things like this from the factory
I do apologize but I’m really not sure. Despite the fact that footage just came out it looks like we sold out of these before I could even get it published. Our team can assist with figures and estimates on a loaded up model like this one or something more conventional of course. If I had to wild guess at the MSRP I would guess 130 to 140? But I don’t see pricing typically in my role so I could be off there and would encourage you to verify with a team member
Josh you know I love ya man but wow these videos don't even look the same. New camera setting I guess but anyway. I'm sorry. I hate to be negative about anything you do.
No worries Mark though I’m really wondering how it looks differently… Literally using all the same equipment and settings as I’ve been using for the past year or year and a half Sometimes I think it’s just the light pollution on a given time of day that can shape things

Being that powering the microwave oven off grid is one of the primary reasons I would want an inverter in an RV, this is somewhat of a disappointment for me. Guess it pays to read the fine print. Other than that I like the 400i package.
That’s good intel. I actually was not aware. Ty. 400i package is pound for pound super strong
Apparently the rv unrecorded didn’t last long
Our team can assist with figures for these loaded up legacy models with paint or something more conventional
If I had to wolf guess this one’s MSRP, then maybe 130-140ish?? I don’t handle pricing usually and don’t have a great feel for things though
Montana 3855BR VS. Pinnacle 37MDQS what trailer you think is better
Montana better compares with North Point actually. Pinnacle would be a stage beyond with a little extra glorification. I have a few videos here that are slightly dated but might be helpful:

Great video Josh. Recently started looking for something like this and as you mentioned, this one has it all. Since this one has already sold and you seem to be very familiar with this brand, would you know if there are any differences between the 2021 and the 2022 model year for this legacy? BTW, you failed to mention that the Legacy comes with disc brakes which in my opinion is a nice feature as well, I think. That mid office/bedroom is just what we were looking for an brought this one to our attention over many others.
There were very few significant changes on the legacy package from the 21 to 22 model year
But with all the different RVs I see over so much time I also can’t tell you that I remember every single variance from every model year And there’s really not a great resource the tracks what has changed from year to year sadly
I like this unit a lot. However, for us short people - those over the window shelves for phones, waters, etc are quite literally a pain. Didn’t see if it is dishwasher prepped - as a full time unit I’d like that.
are there a few years older ones like this and floor plan im loving these wuth mid bunks but need to keep my cost in certain rage
Yeah, mid bunks have been around long enough you’ll find some of the use market
it is nice. the paint looks good. it is a nice layout , though not the layout i would choose for me. that is me though. with the hitch weight this would be in F450 or F550 or equivalent range right? good vid
You’re dually minimum I think for serious use
How thick are the walls?
2”
Is this really quality made for full time what upgrade options do they have and what are the dimensions plus floor plan picture isf you can send it plus how much is it
Sounds like what you need is one of our local team members. I'm not in sales myself. Drop our team a note at www.bishs.com/contact-us and they can assist you
Specs and floor plan are shown right at the start of the video btw
All I see on the link is ATC trailers?
I think we might be sold out so our sites search logic is struggling to give you results. Apologies
I think Jayco version looks better. Oh I saw their upgraded 2023 I take that totally back
TY for watching and comparing! :)
Something that big should have a half bath
Does Montana have shut off valves under sinks?
Not to my knowledge. I know alliance is excellent for details like that
Okay....
I think if we were comparing pure final fit and finish I give the nod to Montana but I don’t think north point does badly by any means
The jaycos have a few more widgets and wizbangs but sometimes it just complicates things or opens up opportunities for device failure
Whereas Montana is often pretty straightforward forward yet just.. works
@@JoshtheRVNerd
Thanks Josh. I do appreciate you.
I hadn't really been looking much at the Montana brand at all until the wife had this one showing and caught my attention immediately. It's quite nice of a coach and intrigued me just enough to pick at your noggin once again during this adventure that's quickly coming to a close in one aspect of home owner ship to becoming homeless in luxury! Still don't know what I'll name the yt channel yet but kinda thought of one... "ADVENTURES WITH 1ST CLASS WHITE TRAILER TRASH".
Likely not but it did cross my demented mind for a moment in time or two being we are looking at something a bit more than a 1972 mini-winnie or something like that!
So, when it happens, you'll have to tell me which one it is for you!!! lol
Uncle Josh your check for pricing link... does not match 😐 this 5th wheel.
I’ve updated it but unfortunately it does look like we are currently sold out so I don’t have a price I can reference for you as a courtesy
Looks like a Jayco Northpoint.
VERY heavily inspired by that 377RLBH north point, yeah
No generator? Is there at least generator prep?
Both are available
wished it had 1.5 bathroom
What is the length of the fold out bed in den
Apologies Bryan - the specs the MFG provides are listed at the start of the video. For anything else I need to refer you to a local team member. I don't have one of these available to me right now.
Why not have a posing slides in the bedroom
Seems like a lot of folks will purchase this for retirement, do any of these 5th wheels have wheelchair access availability to them.
@@Erin-Thor thanks I'll check him out 👍
Things like enhanced accessibility are so incredibly uncommon
There are aftermarket upfits like chair lifts but sadly the industry is not very accommodating in this respect
Only a small number of Motorhomes tend to offer things like this from the factory
Is there a 4 season package
And what about the windows
0-100 degree proven on every montana since 2005
the biggest problem with it is that it's not behind my truck.
Lol
I know a LOT of people that could fix that
Price?
I do apologize but I’m really not sure. Despite the fact that footage just came out it looks like we sold out of these before I could even get it published. Our team can assist with figures and estimates on a loaded up model like this one or something more conventional of course. If I had to wild guess at the MSRP I would guess 130 to 140? But I don’t see pricing typically in my role so I could be off there and would encourage you to verify with a team member
Great video audio get garbled occasionally
Inside or outside? Sometimes outside it gets a little windy and there’s only so much I can do to block that out
Inside part
Why do 90% of RV’s have those stupid, swirley paint jobs?
Intro to funny.......
No counter space in the kitchen.
hahahaha Baptist medicine cabinet.
Josh you know I love ya man but wow these videos don't even look the same. New camera setting I guess but anyway. I'm sorry. I hate to be negative about anything you do.
No worries Mark though I’m really wondering how it looks differently… Literally using all the same equipment and settings as I’ve been using for the past year or year and a half
Sometimes I think it’s just the light pollution on a given time of day that can shape things
And by the way Not only do I not mind constructive input I rather appreciate it. Thank you
Maybe it's my ever deteriorating eyesight lol. I watch a lot of your videos on my phone actually so that's one thing. Anyway , carry on brother !
Still utterly loath anti-cuddling theatre seating. WTF? If you're old you're not supposed to want to cuddle with the wive?
Please stop with all the glass doors on the living room storage. Nobody want to see your stuff thru the glass. Glass cabinet doors are for showing off your nice items
Smancy and smexy retirement rig.
Not for 100k plus lol
