My mom passed away a little more than a year ago. One of the things she taught us since we were so small was this kind of idea that when we die, we have to stand next to everything we’ve spent our time and life on. Every purchase. Every person, every hour. We would stand next to these things and show them to God. What does God see in those things? Are they worthy things? are they apart of His mission for us as His children? Can we feel truly proud of what we will stand next to one day with God? It is so easy especially in this world to envision very specific items and experiences and securities that we want (I know I experience this frequently). I am so thankful for God’s Loving guidance of what he wants us to put our hearts and minds toward to do His will as extensions of his Body ❤️

Remember we are not of this world and will leave it in the end. Don’t collect shells...pray and help others find their reason, God. He is merciful and waits for us to follow Him and we all get the same reward. What greater joy in life would it be to bring that love to others who are lost?

Fr Mike mediates upon EVERY word during holy mass🙏
His sermons are also incredibly heartfelt. He gives so much energy and meaning to each stage of the mass that the service becomes alive and relevant to us in our present daily lives.
I think the Good Lord put Fr Mike on this earth to particularly reach out to our young people - he is so positive, and such an amazing spiritual role model for the youth of today (and us older folk😉).
The young readers are also an inspiration and it’s lovely to see them involved in the mass.

Wow God really is good. I grew up with parents that didn't go or take me to any church. And now I am 29 with my own children as I see them grow I know Im missing something. GOD. I was never baptized or taught anything I watched the Christian/Catholic video (each of my parents have claimed to be one and the other lol) ... but ... I don't even own a bible. I thought ok I need one but when I read it what do I highlight. Today I came back to learn more and this was my lesson. Wow God provides 💜
Pray for me my dear brothers and sisters, to live a life that glorifies our Lord Jesus Christ ❤️🙏

Fr I do go to mass but wearing the mask and trying to sing and say the creed I get dizzy. I am not able to concentrate with this mask. I enjoy watching you later that day or another day. I love your homilies! God bless you Fr Mike! I love your compassion!

You got this. I passed mine 19 years ago..it was wild..as I was studying for it I would talk to God and as I was talking to Him the number 82 came to me and thar was my exact score. Ask God to be with you and He will carry you thru that exam.

I’ve watched a couple of Sunday masses today and this topic is calling to me. I feel this yearning for the same silence and peace I had as a child, and to grow in my faith and willingness to get close to Christ. Being able to accept that I might never be able to become a wife and a mother. To decide to have complete faith and trust and not try to control everything myself. I can’t even describe how scary that is to me. I’ve always believed, and I’ve always had faith, but I feel the tug of I know but I won’t let myself become close or vulnerable... if that makes sense. Thank you for this mass.

Today’s mass really hit me. I often start my worship...and just step into it without shaking off the world. That was a great way to start...like when God asked Moses to remove his shoes...for this is hallowed ground. Today I stopped the mass and prayed for the Holy Spirit to come into my heart and remove the worldliness. I received the messages loud and clear. Thank you.
