Last of all and servant of all. Homily for the 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year B.

As the journey to Jerusalem continues the disciples struggle with the demands of God’s reign: it is not about seeking glory, but being the least; it is not about lording it over others, but serving; it is not seeking security and positions of honour, but losing one’s life and being servant of all.
