The Ferrari comparison really hit home, because when I was young, I was a 4 cylinder economy car for sure. How about becoming actually confident? Women who are attracted to men who only "appear" confident have something messed up going on about themselves. Probably low self esteem combined with other baggage. On the other hand, high self esteem girls/women will only be attracted to guys/men who are truly confident.
In any case, I learned this the hard way, and I guess many people will have to go through the same.
