A big think that differentiates intelligent people from dumb people is self consciousness. A dumb person has no idea it's dumb, because such person never had the mental capability to even think otherwise. An intelligent person on the other hand, has such a skill available, therefore such person usually uses it. I myself may be or may be not intelligent, i am not the one to judge, but i do think about what i do right and what i do wrong. When someone says -for example- that i am too egoistical, even tho i laugh it off and it doesn't offend me at all, i still do look into whether the person that said such a thing had any support to what it said.
