When I watched it, I couldnt believe what I witnessed with that one scene, where Elrond was fighting the orc that killed his horse. What the hell were they thinking? "Oh yeah and then he stabs the orc, puts him on the nearby catapult and launches him towards the city - thats badass (neverfuckingmind the rocks possibly killing his own allies or inflicting critical damage to defensive structures, who cares)". This show is so painful to watch.
Love how some orc trebuchets can bring down a mountain to stopp a mighty river from flowwing. You know instead of charging over one of the bridges. Also kudos for the 5 orcs who can load and rotate 30 feet tall siege engines.Better not mess with those ones
It's also funny how the river can be drained so quickly as if it's Minecraft. It's also funny how the riverbed was wet soil, and would be next to impossible for an individual to cross effeciently without sinking into it, let alone an entire army and a trebuchet.
is it two weeks? did the show ever give time frames other than this 150 way hours from Lindon to Eregion ( and i think the runners still think Lindon and Eregion are cities, not whole elven realms...)
@@belegur8108 They talked about it being two weeks in some recap I saw. It is mentioned somewhere in an episode that he have been forging the rings for two weeks
"Richard's Osman's house of games" has a round called "the writers day off" where they get kids aged 3 to 12 to write the questions. I am pretty sure they get them same kids to write this show.
I watched a few episodes of season 1, but I don't remember any of it. The reviews of the show are much more memorable! CHEERS. Thanks for the laughs :)
qweeen and durin the young bloking physically entrance to deeps of the mines is such deep and interesting plot twist. Wedge formation was used as shock cavalry charge in history by many factions..so that was ok vs infantry. But other then that it was a huge pule of crap
According to this episode the tower containing the forge is already long gone as Sauron leaves the forge, walks out the door, the scene moves from the illusion to the real world and..... the building he just walked out of is not there. it's the image in 3:00
thank you for this review... It makes it clear, some people are just too simple or not able to focus enough to form an opinion please watch paint dry if this show is too difficult to wrap your head around
Isildur and Theo went back to Pelargir. It was heavily implied Arondir was going on ahead by himself after he met with the ents and promised to help them, which I guess meant hunting down and killing Adar. This is further shown in the prior episode where Arondir appears by himself, takes down a couple of orcs, and find the map that showed they were supposed to head to Eregion. The entire Isildur/Theo plotline was nothing more than a contrivance to show Isildur is still alive and give those characters something to do for a couple of episodes until Arondir learns he needs to return to Eregion. That's literally the only purpose it served. As for Isildur's fakeout death...? I have no idea honestly. Odds are pretty good Numenor is going to arrive in Pelargir soon and they'll find Isildur anyway, so I don't really get the point of all this other than maybe trying to use Isildur's "death" as motivation for Elendil's daughter to turn against Queen Miriel? I don't think they thought that far ahead in all honesty.
18 min full review? i watched a 9h review ( and engaged in the live chat as well ) not long ago and it was not even close to cover all the problems 🤣🤣😂😂
When I se a review starting with so many epithets I know that the review itself have to be reviewed. And if there is a 100% negative opinion of something, then then it's not as objective, as a review needs to be. Come on! There must be sumething that was not as bad. The soundtrack, the visual effects, that little tree on the left side of the screen seemed legit... anything. Words like "disaster", "destroyed" and "lore" does not make you more Tolkien-ish than Tolkien. They just make you too much emotional and agressive for someone to make a review.

One might think that one would notice a candle not getting shorter or burning down in two weeks without putting a mark on it

I liked how Celebrimbor found out he was under an illusion. Still a really bad episode but at last something I liked.

Are we sure this show isn't actually being written by Mr. Burns 1,000 chimps banging away at 1,000 typewriters ?
I'm pretty sure it's written in crayon
The chimps would not be this malicious.
It would only take one chimp that’s drunk on absinthe, written with his poo on the side of a dead elephant.
I’m glad I decided not watch season 2. I would’ve had a nuclear meltdown if I’d had to witness the kiss without warning first.
