You don’t have to film in the grocery store, just show us your grocery list and the haul when you get home, might even group into each meal you plan on having with which items you picked up. That’s more interesting than seeing the store which may not be anything like the stores we have access to. Also easy substitutions if our stores don’t carry certain items. Thank you so much for sharing ! You definitely keep me motivated.
I was a vegan for 7 years. But you know what, I was a JUNK food vegan. I gained weight and I didn’t feel well at all. So I went to keto. Now I’m really ill. I have a fatty liver, high cholesterol, pre-diabetic, Barrett’s esophagus, sleep apnea and I’m on oxygen because I got Covid in October. The tests are saying I have Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. So that is a progressive horrible disease. So as of today I’m back 🎉 I just bought your book and I will keep you updated. I’m 5’2”, weigh 217. I’m 56 years old. I will recommit to being a vegan again and stick with it until I go home to be with the Lord. Thank you for what you do.

So I'm now officially hooked! Bought your book and tried the thousand island dressing its spot on! So good. I am going to be trying to be better at the 50/50 plate and no sugar. But sugar is my kryptonite. I'm also watching my overt fats. This year, I will succeed in getting healthy and losing this weight.

as a newbie, I find your information helpful. My husband isn't going to be following plant-based with me but that is ok, I need to do this for me. I have a lot of weight to lose and will be under a doctors care. I am so hopeful that this is what will get me to where I want to be.
It's okay if you're spouse doesn't follow your path, it will be helpful to have the discussion if you haven't that they also need to be sure not to sabotage your efforts. They may not even mean to but even jokes and jabs add up when you're trying something new
I gained 12 lbs from eating breakfast again after years of Intermittent Fasting. Started IF again this week, in hopes that, including high carb low fat will get me where I've struggled so hard to reach for so many years.

In January, my daughter and I decided to stop eating fast food and eating out, except for birthdays or special occasions, in an effort to become healthier and to stop wasting $ on unhealthy foods. My daughter lost 15 lbs without even trying, now weighing 115 lbs. I didn’t have as much weight loss, but I have lost fat, happily. I have only lost about 8 lbs in the past 6 months, eating real, plant based foods, eliminating fast foods. I’m disabled, so unfortunately, my physical activity is limited and I struggle losing weight. I really liked your tips to aid in weight loss - spray (or broth) instead of oil, increase fruit and veggies, and 50/50 plate where 1/2 is non-starchy veggies, and the other half with starchy vegetables. Super interesting! I definitely do not eat enough non-starchy veggies. Thank you for this Pro tip. You ROCK!❤

It’s great to see other people who are getting healthy and motivating others too. I’ve lost weight twice after having kids and now I’m on the journey again after my 3rd baby. This time around I made my own healthy lifestyle journals/planners. I’m using them and sell them too. If those can help at least 1 person to change their life then I’ll be happier.
My diet didn’t actually include carb and starchy of rice, pastas, potatoes; I too steamed/boiled my veggies eating plain without oil nor sauces but sadly I gain weight year by year; this few months I started to add olive oils onto my veggies and to my surprise, I had been dropping about 6 to 7 lbs every monthly. I suppose the key is balancing everything we eat and not too extreme on any. Thanks for the sharing 💕💕💕

I bought your book about 6 months ago. I have to say I've used more recipes in your book than any other recipe book I have EVER bought in all of my MANY years of cooking and trying to lose weight. I have lost weight many times, and gain it back again many times. I lost some weight again and I am at a stand still at the moment. Thanksgiving threw a major wrench in my eating... But this was a very inspiring talk. I have 15 more pounds to go and maybe a bit more. I will say I CAN NOT live without your ranch dressing, or your weight loss friendly granola!!! Your cheese sauce is also really good. You are SO right about the dressings and sauces. I don't use them all the time but they are a game changer. Also, another life changing thing was using the no chicken broth by Edward and Sons. I never liked bought or home made vegetable broth. Thank you! My biggest goal is not the speed of my weight loss but finding a way of eating I can maintain forever.
I’m SO inspired by you,Kiki! And the Self~Love is foremost. Then the Prep time on weekends. When I released 90 pounds in 9 months, I went to the Farmers Market on Saturdays,washed and prepped my vegetables,then on Sundays I would cook up my protein and starches for the week! It really works and I effortlessly became a vegan just from consuming so many fresh fruits and vegetables every day first thing.🤗🙌
I have struggled with different diets for years veggie, vegan meat etc. I am just adding a new perspective. When I went traditional diet, grass fed meat, raw milk , in season local (no Taco Bell or dominos ) I have dropped my weight. I still like to hear about other's journeys, Good luck

Just bought your book for myself for my birthday. I’ve been vegan for over 8 years but I’m still 20lbs overweight. I know it’s because I don’t watch my fat or bread intake and I don’t eat enough veggies. I have been exercising 6 days a week and haven’t lost a single pound! Time to get stricter with my diet! Love all this! Just found you last night! This 50/50 plate feels real good to me. I was plant based & gluten free for 7 years. I always wonder if that’s what I need to do again. We’re raising beautiful chicken, eggs, and other animals right now. Thinking if we raise them we will be far more healthy. The wisdom I gained from being plant based before does reflect in my lifestyle now… But I know I can do better and found this video super inspiring. Maybe a third of the carb side of my plate could be animal protein? So half plate veg, 2/3 of the other half carbs and 1/3 of that animal protein?! Cutting the unnecessary oils! Wowza! For years I heard you needed healthy fats like avocado oil, butter, coconut oil, olive…. Yada yada, but it’s clearly not working for me. I’m gonna keep watching your vids and see how I can sneak in a small amount of what we are raising here on our little farm, with more veggies. I just wish this little town had better quality veg…. Kinda think the lack of good product here is partly why my diet changed so much. Anyways, thank you for the inspiration!

When you explained you tried all the diets u did grass fed beef butter and eggs and waa eating healthy and nothing happened i said omg is this me talking...cuz i waa doing the same. I FINALLY got it through my head to take a look beyond the oil at the other fats I'm eating. Did you know that a quarter of an avocado can be really satisfying? 😂 Also, major props to your sweet, supportive husband. I'm grateful to have never have anyone bag on me eating plant based but I've seen so many people whose partners not only don't support them trying to get healthy but some even actively try to sabotage it. He is definitely a gem.

My daughter lost 15 lbs without even trying, now weighing 115 lbs. I didn’t have as much weight loss, but I have lost fat, happily. I have only lost about 8 lbs in the past 6 months, eating real, plant based foods, eliminating fast foods. I’m disabled, so unfortunately, my physical activity is limited and I struggle losing weight.
I really liked your tips to aid in weight loss - spray (or broth) instead of oil, increase fruit and veggies, and 50/50 plate where 1/2 is non-starchy veggies, and the other half with starchy vegetables. Super interesting! I definitely do not eat enough non-starchy veggies. Thank you for this Pro tip. You ROCK!❤

It’s great to see other people who are getting healthy and motivating others too. I’ve lost weight twice after having kids and now I’m on the journey again after my 3rd baby. This time around I made my own healthy lifestyle journals/planners. I’m using them and sell them too. If those can help at least 1 person to change their life then I’ll be happier.
My diet didn’t actually include carb and starchy of rice, pastas, potatoes; I too steamed/boiled my veggies eating plain without oil nor sauces but sadly I gain weight year by year; this few months I started to add olive oils onto my veggies and to my surprise, I had been dropping about 6 to 7 lbs every monthly. I suppose the key is balancing everything we eat and not too extreme on any. Thanks for the sharing 💕💕💕
Ugh this sounds just like me too, prediabetic for over a decade, female hormonal issues, did what I thought was healthy keto... switched to a plant based diet 2 months ago and lost 10lbs with zero effort. I bought your book about 6 months ago. I have to say I've used more recipes in your book than any other recipe book I have EVER bought in all of my MANY years of cooking and trying to lose weight. I have lost weight many times, and gain it back again many times. I lost some weight again and I am at a stand still at the moment. Thanksgiving threw a major wrench in my eating... But this was a very inspiring talk. I have 15 more pounds to go and maybe a bit more. I will say I CAN NOT live without your ranch dressing, or your weight loss friendly granola!!! Your cheese sauce is also really good. You are SO right about the dressings and sauces. I don't use them all the time but they are a game changer. Also, another life changing thing was using the no chicken broth by Edward and Sons. I never liked bought or home made vegetable broth. Thank you! My biggest goal is not the speed of my weight loss but finding a way of eating I can maintain forever.

When I released 90 pounds in 9 months, I went to the Farmers Market on Saturdays,washed and prepped my vegetables,then on Sundays I would cook up my protein and starches for the week! It really works and I effortlessly became a vegan just from consuming so many fresh fruits and vegetables every day first thing.🤗🙌
I have struggled with different diets for years veggie, vegan meat etc. I am just adding a new perspective. When I went traditional diet, grass fed meat, raw milk , in season local (no Taco Bell or dominos ) I have dropped my weight. I still like to hear about other's journeys, Good luck

Just bought your book for myself for my birthday. I’ve been vegan for over 8 years but I’m still 20lbs overweight. I know it’s because I don’t watch my fat or bread intake and I don’t eat enough veggies. I have been exercising 6 days a week and haven’t lost a single pound! Time to get stricter with my diet! Love all this! Just found you last night! This 50/50 plate feels real good to me. I was plant based & gluten free for 7 years. I always wonder if that’s what I need to do again. We’re raising beautiful chicken, eggs, and other animals right now. Thinking if we raise them we will be far more healthy. The wisdom I gained from being plant based before does reflect in my lifestyle now… But I know I can do better and found this video super inspiring. Maybe a third of the carb side of my plate could be animal protein? So half plate veg, 2/3 of the other half carbs and 1/3 of that animal protein?! Cutting the unnecessary oils! Wowza! For years I heard you needed healthy fats like avocado oil, butter, coconut oil, olive…. Yada yada, but it’s clearly not working for me. I’m gonna keep watching your vids and see how I can sneak in a small amount of what we are raising here on our little farm, with more veggies. I just wish this little town had better quality veg…. Kinda think the lack of good product here is partly why my diet changed so much. Anyways, thank you for the inspiration!

When you explained you tried all the diets u did grass fed beef butter and eggs and waa eating healthy and nothing happened i said omg is this me talking...cuz i waa doing the same. I've watched all your other videos like this one multiple times and I can never get enough of this story and the repetition of those tips. I FINALLY got it through my head to take a look beyond the oil at the other fats I'm eating. Did you know that a quarter of an avocado can be really satisfying? 😂
Also, major props to your sweet, supportive husband. I'm grateful to have never have anyone bag on me eating plant based but I've seen so many people whose partners not only don't support them trying to get healthy but some even actively try to sabotage it. He is definitely a gem.
