- We used the Nikon Z9 to film two music videos! This is part 2 were we combine the camera with the Tilta Float steadycam and we only use auto-focus to shoot a video for the artist Metteson.

Amazing work! If you guys start to use the Tilta Float a lot more, I suggest looking up Vaho Mat's videos on modding it for better ergonomics and balance! The channel is called: Camera Rigging Mods. It caters to pretty much all Tilta Float stuff.

2 excellent videos guys, love the behind the scene vibe and to be honest such videos really sell the product much better than a company ad, at least to me. I’m in the process of upgrading all my equipment from computer to lights including cameras of course. I’ve been shooting Nikon for over 4 decades, but lost confidence in the brand over time as Nikon was so slow and stubborn about going the mirrorless route (not to mention a few fiascos along the line such as the D610 oil spots saga...) But since it came out i have to admit i’m really considering the Z9 for videography (mostly). Videos like yours really show the performance of this Nikon new flagship in your capable hands. Thank’s for sharing, keep up the good work and god bless.
The Z9 is a beast..probably the only nikon camera in my bucket list..but now i am more interested in that steadicam you made in 2006..could you make a little documentery about it if you have enough footage from that moment u were 15?..THAT WOULD BE AMAZING TBH🙏💕

Nikon has stepped up their game quite a bit. Now it can shoot Braw or ProResRaw, AF seems great. It's a beast.

Fantastic! Nice work! Seeing these two wonderful music videos is making me truly frustrated waiting for my preordered Z9 which Nikon Sweden have told me I might receive within the next TWO MONTHS with no promises! At least it is obviously well worth waiting for! My five new Zs lenses will just have to stay in their boxes until then 😂🙏🏾

Very fun! I'd love to see how you mod and work with the Tilta Float in the coming months! Seems like there's a lot of potential with it, but with a few modifications.
He's been interested in steadycam for many years. Me too. Love the look. Having the vest really helps I'll bet.
Wow the footage looks really good! The gimbal with the arm is amazing, I want one so bad, and the price is not bad at all. I would use HDMI to a small monitor so the operator could see better waht he is shooting, tho the phone works fine as well I would assume. I just prefer cables as I know it works. The Nikon is a underrated camera. Nikon for me has never been an option, but I might have to re-considder that now. Curious how the AF is compared to Sony? Great job Anders! :-)
Yes heavily underrated, but it’s the result of Nikon genuinely taking a look at the market and realizing the seriousness of video nowadays and thus the need for an ultra serious hybrid camera. This video just adds to the excitement and inspiration I have for what lies ahead with Nikon. But anyways, just my two pennies…

Damn you make the Nikon footage look so good!! Imagine if you used sigma fp using cinemaDNG 12 bit in this shoot, it will be phenomenal,

Seriously it's the only video that I saw of the z9 that made the camera shine..was it 8k or 4k ? particularly in these near clipped highlights scene with the hands, I guest that mist filter really helped too ;) I hope that nikon improves the dynamic range of nlog maybe a version 2 since the raw update did nt improve it as I saw some people getting better highlights roll off using hlg ;)

Nikon should have let you try N-Raw for these videos.
We shot these videos two weeks ago, but agree that it would have been nice!
@@Andyax they should have used these music videos to demonstrate the capabilities of N-Raw files. yes for public Davinci resolve and N-Raw firmware just arrived recently but Nikon could have provide you special access to test it.
still its good to see some amazing results with Z9.
@@JaspreetSinghArtist I’m guessing there will be plenty of opportunities and projects to showcase NRaw in the coming months, and since the new firmware just released today and there might be some bugs and compatibility issues with editing software still, gambling on using it for a shoot like this is not what you would want to do ;)

I'd really love to try that tilta flow vest setup. I'm brand new to video though (long time photographer). Is there any other gimbals that you would recommend that would work with it that might be a little more affordable to get started with the system besides the RS 2 (as that adds another $800). But that can still handle the Z9? Thanks, loving this video

Nikon sponsored the music video so we used their camera. In addition, the auto focus was necessary to be able to shoot with all those movements in just one day :)

No..Nobody makes more than the other..With good marketting and professionalism..You will be paid based on how you perform not from where u live..I am from africa and Production companies herer make tone of money by making videos for big companies and artists
