🎯 Hello Sensei 🤺 Welcome to my first Playthrough of Ghost of Tsushima... so far I'm loving it. The game itself is so beautiful too... If there are some beginner tips you think I'd better know, please tell me (without story spoilers) Can't wait to play the next episode ❤ thanks for watching
Tips: Try your best to remember your training and try your best master your countering. Let them strike first then tap block right before they hit you. Just do your best and have fun "Sepid♡👍
I still remember when i played this game, I never dared to play it in lethal mode back then 😅 By the way, you should explore Tsushima when you have time, there are many things that you can do, like getting technique points to learn new abilities by doing side quests or by liberating villages from the Mongols, you can also find new Katanas in Shrines of honor with unique designs in some parts of the map and some armors have unique abilities and advantages, if you are able to find one you like, it will surely help you in the journey, good luck Dawn :)
My favourite game from the PS4 gen. The English voice acting is amazing. Definitely the way to experience the game. Just a tip. In Act 2, don't do the DLC mission. It will take you to a new map, and lock you out of the main game. Do the DLC after you finish the main game.
@@sepidofpersia Yes, the mission will say "New explorable region" in the rewards and the game will warn you about it being a "long tale" before you travel to the DLC area
@@sepidofpersia I've finished the game several times at 100% completion, take it from me it won't break immersion if you do the DLC when you find it, or when you wait till after you finish the Main Story first. However, if you don't wait to finish the Main Story first, the rewards from Iki Island can help you with the Main Story, especially if you enjoy archery and horse combat.
My single biggest tip for this game is when it says, observe, or kill Mongol leaders you can actually do both and it will take half the time to unlock the stances
O o o o o i thought it was gonna be resident evil game oh well this game. Looks interesting and i will support you no matter what game you play may be some day you will play a R E game keep doing what you are doing kiddo love you to the sun and back !!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Oh man, Director's Cut too?! You're about to get some wonderful treat with this one! I haven't played this game, but I heard some great stuff about it! I'm looking forward for this playthrough journey! I wonder what you said at 1:40. The music sounds awesome! 23:57 haha, it sounded like you were powering up and powering down at the same time there, lol! The training between uncle and nephew does remind me of Witcher 3! I haven't gotten far out in that game, but seeing that reminds me of Witcher 3, lol! 36:36 Your baby noise cracked me up, lol! 45:35 Yuna imposter! Lol. 48:30 that was EPIC!!! >=D 59:01 I thought that was the Ringwraiths for a sec, hehe. :D 1:14:19 - 1:14:50 that was wonderful, indeed! :DD I don't think honor system exist in the game, it would've noted the levels there like how it did in both RDR games. 1:37:57 ahh yes, the greatest kingdom with maple star, mooses, and maple syrup: Castle Canada! :P Lol, jk jk, heheh. I really enjoyed this brand new playthrough of Ghost of Tsushima! This playthrough, in some ways, brings me back to the days when you were playing Elden Ring, heh! =D I also love your cosplay/costume design here and I'll be looking forward for the next one on Wednesday and ready for Chee Tea A on Sunday! =DDD Have a great day, and take care, amiga! I'll see you soon! :)))))))
I remember choosing the white horse and calling her "Sora. I had so much attire doing all the stuff in the game. Very cool to be able to do so much for a horse in a game. 😃👏🏼
Ghost of tsishima is really fun and difficult at times but definitely really fun anyway awesome video keep up the great work 👍 and hope you have a blessed Wednesday ☺️🙏❤
Doesn't matter the enemy type - whether it's a sword, spear, shield dude, or brute, any incoming strike marked with a red "X" you can't parry, you can only hope to dodge those. Blows marked with a blue X you can parry but you first have to learn that skill. Loot loot loot. Like TLOU1&2, there's loot all over the place. Look for shiny flashing objects. They can be supplies (which are the in game currency), flowers (for trading to merchants for new skins which are aesthetic only), various wood types (for upgrading your bow/s), various metals (for upgrading your katana), various fabrics for upgrading your armor sets, or animals skins (PREDATOR only) which is used for upgrading your carrying capacity. As far as outfits, each different outfit grants you different perks. Like one outfit can give you more health while another can give you upgraded damage, and yet another can make you more stealthy etc etc. Change outfits to suit the situation you're in. Or not, it's up to you. Also each outfit can also equip charms. Charms give you different abilities and perks. They're earned by finding and worshipping Shinto Shrines. Additional charm slots can be earned by finding Inari Shrines. Finally, you can enable charm "loadouts" in the options menu which lets you assign charms to different outfits so you're not constantly swapping them back and forth.
26:07 Remember what Lord Shimura says here, it is the key to fighting hundreds of enemies at once. It may sound cliché, but if you take a defensive approach and learn how to control the Perfect Parry, you will control every battlefield. Because if you can Parry perfectly timed, you can do Perfect Dodge as well. Trust me, it is worth practicing parry in this game. Remember to be patient and let enemies come to you. Don't run, don't roll dodge unless you have to, slow controlled movements with maximum efficiency. EDIT: You can only Parry spears if you have unlocked the required skill. Enemy attacks that glow Red must be dodged, anything else can be Parried. But I'm sure by now you've figured this out :p
Finally! I hope you end loving the game as much I do. And since you asked for tips... When trying to earn new stances you have to "observe or kill" mongol leaders. Well you can do both. Observe the leader first, then kill him that way you get 2 for 1. Birds, they're annoying but follow them. The game as much as I love it can feel repetitive. No matter because that repetition is needed to build up Jin's skills and you also get to experience one of the best open world environments (IMO). The combat isn't hack and slash, it's all about timing so don't just mash buttons, Have fun, can't believe you're finally playing this epic game (I thankfully don't have to mention this game to you now lol). Edited to add: GEt used to spamming the down button on the d-pad. It's the healing button ad you should be healing constantly (if you need to) especially during fights because you should be using your resolve. When you kill someone or do a perfect parry you gain more resolve and the only time to do that is during fights.
@@sepidofpersia When you find Mongol camps (the game will call them Mongol Territories) you'll get a prompt in the upper left corner of your screen giving you recommendations on what/how to deal the camp. Usually it's "Defeat the Mongols", but they also usually give you a bonus activity like kill someone with a certain type of weapon or some such and if you pull that off you get bonus materials and or bonus XP. One of these recommendations is also "Observe or Kill the leader". What the game doesn't tell you is that you can do both with a single leader. First find the leader (always wearing a helmet that covers his face), then get up high somewhere (Mongols NEVER look up) and hold R2 when the "Observe" prompt comes up. When you're done observing you can then kill him giving you twice the XP that counts towards learning new stances. The further you get in the game you're going to want to have all the stances. Each stance deals with a specific enemy type. There's a separate stance for shield dudes, sword dudes, spear dudes, and brutes. When the combat gets intense and there are a dozen enemies rushing at the same time and they're all different types you'll have to get good at switching stances on the fly, this is when the combat is at its best/most fun. Good luck, you did well in your first video!
If you can master the dodge and parry…. Everything else will flow freely. This will be epic. I believe there’s an option to increase text size in the options 👍
Hi Dawn. Have you ever thought about playing Far Cry 3 in the future? It's the first time I've seen this game and seeing you playing this game is awsome.
This was a special game. It has some of the best atmosphere and art direction in all of gaming. Story is better than most as well. It does have a lot of the same issues as other open world games, but it is an abnormally good one. Spent a lot of time playing it before Elden Ring took over all my game time.
Really? I needed some relaxing time after all that chaos after Silent Hill 2 and GTA 4 (the bugs). do you think I should record the side missions too or it's better I do them by myself? I think It's better if I record the main missions only as I've heard most people are bored with the side missions of this game
@sepidofpersia the main story is the meat of the game, and the most entertaining bits. The side missions suffer from ubisoftification and truly aren't that interesting. Personally, I would mostly stick to the main story and do side stuff if you run into it organically on the way, rather than trying to seek out every side mission or activity. This way you'll have better retention and it will be more fun for you and your viewers. Also, I would recommend livestreaming. Doing the "let's play" style RUclips channel is extremely difficult now because it's competing with live streamers doing the same thing but live. I started out only making RUclips videos stubbornly. Finally started streaming about a year ago and I enjoy it a lot more. It's better financially too if that matters to you. You can leave your livestreams on your RUclips channel after they have ended and they can be viewed just like a regular RUclips video as well.
I always copy PlayStation Access and IGN to go into certain places just like I did for Spider-Man Remastered. My stealth has to be great as my fighting. It took me months to beat this game. I was collecting everything and kicking so much ass. I got all the dyes and gear for clothing and horses way before I was even close to finishing the game. It's just superfun countering moves and slashing them soon as possible. I love going behind or going around enemy bases and sneaking in and walking up behind them taking them down.

You need to attack way faster after you dodge. Spears are easy to dodge. It turns red then hit dodge. Attack very quickly after you dodge. Try your best to remain calm during dodge. In your training had to dodge the spear. But when your enemy attacked you with a spear after training you tried to counter and you were supposed to dodge. 😂 . . . It's ok though you're still learning.🙂👍 . The only reason I'm used to these games I grew up playing the Dynasty Warriors series and Sleeping Dogs and Assassin's Creed games back when they were good. 🙂👍
English dialogue in this game is very good, besides is easier to play, react and understand the game 👍, otherwise you will lose focus fighting and trying to read the subtitles 😅
The game was made with English in mind, and the story is best experienced that way. This confused a lot of people upon release, as they don’t know that Sucker Punch (the creators) was an American company, and thought the English was simply dubbed over like in Anime. The Japanese voices were added in post. Also, you can’t understand background dialogue and what townspeople think of you if you have Japanese enabled, as they don’t have subtitles.
I agree with you. I didn't want You and also myself to constantly read subtitles. It's better this way... Thanks for watching

Played both Japanese audio and English audio, and the English audio is better imo. The voice acting is top notch and a problem with the Japanese is if you don't speak or understand it, it's hard to hear the emotion of what is being said. If you leave it up to us I'd say go with English /w English subtitles.
As far as dialog... the original dub was made in English if that means anything to you. IMHO, you should play in English so that you don't have to bother reading subtitles when there's a bunch of things happening all at once on screen.
I didn't play one way the whole through, and had fun mixing and matching the presentation, alternating days playing in Color/English/Black&White/Japanese. It's all good.
Oh I'm sorry you don't like the game I'm playing... but I had to go for it cause it's one of the games you should play at least once... so far I liked it. After Gta4 DLCs I will probably start a RE game. Or COD. Haven't decided yet... both new experiences for me. Also thanks for joining ❤️
I hate this game as much as I hate the inFAMOUS franchise. Overextended, homogenized garbage without a shred of authentic personality. God, Sucker punch is a f*cking joke. We don't deserve another Sly cooper.

I didn't mean I don't :D I meant I can't :D I will try my best
Sepid of Persia 🍒
Japanese with English dialogue. A single vote here.
there is an issue with that :D I cannot keep looking at the subtitles while playing :D
Japanese voice is so much more authentic, English just sounds strange in a game like this
Wait girl... that means you never played Zelda? D:
never. I don't have a Nintendo or Xbox
English actor for jin did great🧡. Stick to english imo
You're the most beautiful girl in the world
I tried to get invested into this game but it wasn't my cup of tea. Hope you enjoy it.
@@sepidofpersiano problem 😊
I hate this game as much as I hate the inFAMOUS franchise. Overextended, homogenized garbage without a shred of authentic personality. God, Sucker punch is a f*cking joke. We don't deserve another Sly cooper.
Okay chill :D just don't watch
Sepid ,I cant believe you did not look him in the eye🥲😅
Whooo? 😁
