Oooh, a new blind playthrough of H:ZD - will have that thank you. I think one of the best compliments one can give a game is to say "I wish I could play it for the first time again," and this game pretty much defines that sentiment for me. One question (and I haven't started watching the video proper yet, so apologies if you mention this) - how much do you appreciate/dislike tips, suggestions, or mechanics advice (obviously no story spoilers; that would defeat the purpose of watching you play blind)? OK, adding some edits after watching: That was some _fine_ shooting going on there; well bloody done. Also, your instinct to cut and run like hell is _on point_. One (and only one) mechanic thing I'll tell you before my question above is answered, relating to 1:29:25 - when you're on a multi-level climb, you can use 'down' to drop down _except_ for the last level to the ground; then it will only respond to the crouch/drop-to-ledge command (`C` by default). This makes no sense whatsoever and infuriates me no end. It's now nearly midnight here, and I'm off to watch episode 2 :D
You are in for a treat . Fun fact the voice actress for aloy also plays tiny tina . Chloe from life is strange and mel in last of us part 2 . Ashley burch such a talented actress
I love this game so much! I had such a great time playing it and doing everything I could. I really love this world and enjoyed discovering what made it the way it was and how Aloy came to be and her journey. It’s just great story telling and wonderful gameplay. Glad to see people still discovering it, I know you will love it the more you play and discover/learn!

Just because lots of people miss it (and the game doesn't do a great job telling you), there are a few things in the opening kid level you can't get at the time, so you need to come back later as an adult if you want to get everything. It's also one of the few places you can find rats for crafting. Looking forward to following a fresh playthrough!
The focus is your friend. It shows you the weak spots and other info on the machines. Aloy has a spear for melee, so you don't just have the bow. (Look in inventory to see your weapons) If you really prefer the long range weapons, one of the best early strats is to find high ground that is barely out of reach of their weapons and use it to shoot from (especially when you have the sharpshooter bow or mod a regular one.
Worth the watch if only for your joy at realising there are multichoice part & crafting is involved 🤘🤘 you're in for an outstanding game full to the brim with intrigue , heartache & adventure sending good vibes & much appreciation for all the joyful experience we all feel when spending any time with you Becca 🙏💖🌻🐝
You need to spend a little time methodically traversing the menu options. In particular look at each machine in your catalogue and think about tactics you might be able to use in taking them down. Edit: you keep calling them seekers... Scan one again and look at the on-screen text.
Yeah I watched a friend play some withcher 3 and they are def cut from the same cloth. If you like worldbuilding and an open world sandbox, this game is for you! And the best way to play is doing all the side quests as you find them, imo. All the sidequestssssss!!! They do all kinda have level suggestions that are pretty good indicators. Except the Frozen Wilds DLC. I think the recommended level for starting that feels a bit underpowered. Anyway, I like to think this is who Aloy is; sure sure she's got stuff to do, but she can't turn her back on people in need... The world is massive and very worth exploring, even if it's taking off the main quest line. 10/10
It's funny how the machines can hear and respond to the palm-sized rock Aloy throws, but completely failed to react to Rost's considerable weight hitting the ground when he jumped down from the ledge.

If you haven't played any further and lore is important to you, talk to all people who are blue in the focus scan and have a name, even if the quest doesn't require it. For example, you can talk to Teersa before the proving. for additional lore. Aloy will then also tell you how old she is. Edit: It seems you played further according to your last words.
The Horizon games, especially now that HZD has been remastered for the PS5, are SYSTEM SELLERS. They are essential for the current console. No one can change my mind on that one.
They're not trying to sweep the leg, so jumping to avoid attacks isn't so effective. Better to dodge roll, which is 'circle' on a PS controller, but I don't know what key on PC. Take a closer look at what you can do in the crafting menu, it will help with your inventory space. Try to get used to using the focus more, like when you encounter new machines or look for loot (especially indoors). You may have missed the text on screen, but the widower cripple man did buff your spear right after you talked to him. You should definitely do as many side missions as you like, to get the most out of this world.
Yes the Remaster does look better it is suppose to but the original still holds up pretty well if you are new person to this series than yes you should play the remastered version.
The only thing annoying about finding good lets plays, as opposed to streams which... Not a fan, is how lloooong it will take to start getting a notion of what happened to the world.
you should try to not move the camera every single time and so fast, i know is kind of a tic for some gamers, but totally unnecesary 😅, also kind of give motion sickness to watch 🤔😅

lure call while in bushes to silent strike, will very much be your best friend in this game. concentration is also a must.

There is quick saving at a fire pit. and you can do a normal save at fire pit as well.
Dynamic hud will fade in and out, lure and silent kill most effective traits early

There's lots of pretty games. But this one for me has the best animation.
I don't mind you doing the side quests at all. This game has some of the most awesome side quest in video games.

The second part is undoubtedly more beautiful. But "Zero Dawn" is still better. Lore is great here, and the game encourages exploration.

I believe if you “highlight track/path” while in scan mode, that path will remain visible when you leave scan mode. Have fun.
