🎯 Hello dear Samurai or Ronin or whatever Thanks for watching this episode even though I spent all of it on a side mission because I thought I could fight Tomoe. Starting from next episode, I will create a good balance between side missions and main missions so that we don't get behind the main story... also like usual, I've made some timestamps in the description. Use them for your convenience
Don't worry, about getting behind on main story. The side missions here have good story too. So it is okay to get sidetracked. Also, you get an idea of how much of a story line is left by looking at the mission. it will say "An Ishikawa Tale (X of 9)" This should give you an idea of how long any particular story line is and how much you have left.
Great episode Dawn! Can see your frustration at times with the game mechanics, I'm like this every new game too. 😅 There's always a million things on screen telling us things while in the middle of a fight or something. You look like your getting the hang of it though!
Sensei Ishikawa was probably my favorite character in the game. Love his indifferent sarcasm, but underneath he's a good man. Tip: Hold Directional Pad Down and Right Joystick to the Right to Sheathe your sword manually after battle. Swipe Joystick Down will allow you to bow with respect, you can do this to people, fallen samurai, sacred places like altars to see a nice effect.
@@sepidofpersia It's the same menu where you select the Flute. The first song you already have Clears the Sky. So it has no effect if the sky is already clear :D I recall the first time you used it was during clear weather.
Yeaah... I am loving this game. In this episode I was still clueless, but after it, I played off camera a bit and understand it better. Love the dicipline
@@sepidofpersia Yeah, I noticed all the "I figured it out later"s. Don't worry about it. We've all had those clueless moments in video games. It just means we all have something in common.
@@sepidofpersia lol, you'd be surprised. I've seen people ignore the instructions in the middle of the screen for 5+ minutes. It won't go away till they do it, and they just don't see it. Here the tips and instructions were only up for a few seconds before disappearing. That hardly makes you blind.
Love the introduction with commentary & playing the game at the same time. Reminds me of the OG Elden Ring introduction you use to do before. :D 1:36 made me laugh, hehe. I do the same thing when I use to play Destiny, lol. Come to think of it, the game reminds me of Destiny! Except it's nothing like Destiny, lol. xD 21:44 I burst out laughing at this part, lmao! xDDD I was about to say the same thing at 36:55, lol! :D The village looks very amazing! The first time bamboo strike is entertaining to see you go through, haha! I was rooting for ya, lol! The bathing hot springs scene had me cackling, hahah! 46:51 Your hair looks fine, it's all good in da hood! That ambush from Sensei Ishikawa was surprising, lol! Tis a shame that the doggo had to take part on this ambush. :( 55:00 lol, for me at that point I would write it down on a notepad or something, lol! Hehe, in time you'll be able to master these awesome moves given and granted to you! 55:29 From that tone of voice I almost thought you were gonna say "whos shooting me from where" xDDD still one of my favorite quotes from you, amiga! xDDD 59:52 LMFAO that reminded me of a scene from a movie, lmfao!! xDD 1:09:04 the enemy alert & the arrow to Jin was hilarious, hah! xD This was a great episode, amiga! I really like the stopping point in the video! The game is so amazing! I really love the way you interact with the horse & foxes. Makes me smile! :)))) I look forward to the next video next week on Wednesday! Catch ya later, SoP! I hope you have a great day! Take care, and be safe! =DDD
My biggest tip for this game is when it says to observe or kill a Mongol leader. You can actually do both and get double the increases towards new stances. You can only observe a leader out of combat.
The game is amazing. Graphics, gameplay, story. You're starting it now, I'm almost done. And I don't want it to end. Follow the fоx, go to all the question marks, there's a lot in this game. When you play the flute, you change the whedher , for example. Enjoy, games like this don't come out every day.
Good video and next time try Lady Masako Adachi's missions, her story is very emotional and don't forget to complete the Legendary tales as they give very good rewards and new skills
1:32:28 you'll see that each of the main quest has numbers like ishikawa was 1/9 and then 2/9. each of them has their own story arch which converges into the main story. you'll find out who tomoe is at the very end!
Like I said in a previous comment - as much as I love this game (it's in my all time top 5), it can feel repetitive and a bit grindy. All the fox dens, hot springs, things to collect etc. But it's a necessary to level up Jin and IMO it's worth it. And totally play like how you want but I did all the side content and side missions first in order to level up Jin so that by the time I tackled the main story missions I was as powerful as I can be. It's pretty much how I always play these open world games, but as I said, play as you see fit. And yeah, you can fast travel but you have to "unlock" areas first. A few more tips - Always kill the archers first!! That way you're not getting shot at when you're trying to fight 10 other dudes lol. Make sure that you use your technique points! You earn these points as your experience grows and or completing quests. When you first start the game it's handy to spend them on things like the ability to block arrows or slowing time when you shoot with the bow. Lastly, you can only upgrade your gear at big towns or big temples. You can find the bowyers, armorers, and blacksmiths there. The towns are marked on your map (they're the ones with the 4 little houses icon and the temples are marked with a temple icon). You can upgrade your ammo carrying capacity at any survivor camp (with the trappers). To upgrade your katana you'll need iron and gold. Iron can only be found in Mongol outposts and gold can either be bought from certain trappers in big towns or by completing certain missions. For your ammo capacity (arrows, kunai etc) you'll need predator skins (Mongol dogs or bears). Hope that helps.
I bought this game last fall while I was on my vacation. This game cost me a new graphics card for my PC because I refuse to look at their faces in ultra low potato mode. Gtx1060 6gb to rtx3060 12 gb

I'm glad to see you enjoying the beautiful graphics of this game. And petting the fox. A game is always better when you can pet the animals.

Some tips...treat this game like a Souls game. Most bosses have patterns and its better to dodge sometimes than try to parry.

The best way to do the tamishigiri cuts is to turn off everything in your brain, and go focus mode.
