Sir I have a question, why we don't put new MOSFET
What is the purpose of 1st MOSFETdiffer from, 2nd one ,if we have any problemin future with shorting
is there not a similar component but has a stronger internal resistance? What is damaging the chip if it is continually happening? Heat? if a very very small resistance was put in line with this chip, would it protect the chip itself ?

i have the same laptap the problem when iturn on the power will on then after 3 sec it will shut off again what can i do

I did the same repair that you did and notebook has successfully come bake to life. My question is? Can I let the notebook work with the missing mosfet? Kindly could you tell me which abbreviations should I buy it with at the electronic store? Scusa la lingua ma sono italiano😅
Hello, I have the exact same laptop. When I plug the power cable, the power led under the onboard mouse shows blue. When I put the battery, the same blue led turns on without me pushing anything. When I push the power button, the power button shows blue but nothing works, I opened, clean and still the same problem.
Maybe lightning strike killed them both, or power line spike. Weird.

Why don’t you replace the mosfet? Can you not get the mosfet chips to replace?
i have same laptop ..np300e5x ..when plugging charger then blink third led green continue but red led also blink ...can suggess me ...what a problem ..solution

Samsung 300E laptop is not coming On. However the green indicator for power available is coming on immediately I plug in the charger. What then could be the problem? What should I check for?

Hello sir, thanks for your video. I had the same problem i fixed it like you did but now my laptop don't work with battery but work fine when I plugg in the charger. It say 0% plugging in charging. But really it not charging
Same here I have the same problem fix the display it works but the battery isn't charging replace AC adapter with 2 new batteries same problem please help let us know does it effect the battery charge and when charging thanks
turn on the laptop with the battery and when is working fine remove the battery just a while and return it you will see the battery start charging

I have the same 300e laptop but i have power :D just when i try to turn on i have blue ligth and i can hear the winchester speed up but the screen didnt show anything to me. :(
And the last times when its worked i have the same problem but 2 or 3 trying and its turn on

were joking and you don't ask money for that ;-). That "chip" is
supposed to be there for a reason. Would you please explain using a
schematic, which signal controls that mosfet gate and what is the reason
why is supposed to be there?

Same laptop NP 300e blue light turns on CPU fan working HDD working and no display i attached external monitor but same problem some time i have to turn on and off several times to start working. i replaced RAM and disassemble each device like DVD HDD WIFI SPEAKER LCD KEYBOARD MICE USB even ON OFF button and trying to start laptop with naked motherboard but no success
also try electric discharge and CMOS removed but fail
You first said that motherboard is working and after that you said you plugged off LCD and everything and tried to power up the motherboard itself (didn't quite get why). I think maybe it's GPU.. try heating up the bottom of the laptop untill it's really hot with the hair dryer and then turn it on fast while it's still hot.. If there is picture on the screen, then that's the problem. And try a few times, it's really hard to get it hot.. If it's working you can bake the motherboard in the oven. Remove everything from the motherboard that can be removed before baking. You can google how to bake it in the oven. Those are the "no cost" temporary fixes and the problem will come back. Reflowing it with the heat gun is also a temporary fix.. Reballing is the only "permanent" solution if done right but it's quite not worth it, easier to buy new motherboard od new laptop.. Of course if the GPU is the problem in the first place.. Don't know what else could be the problem as you tried new ram, cmos reset and discharge and external screen. Maybe the ram slot is not working, I found that problem on my laptop and the symptoms are the same of course.
Hello! I have the same motherboard. Problem is, it does not turn on.
The green light turns on but does not turn on the blue light. When you press the power button, the blue light blinks but does not turn on.
check the usb ports and 5v usb power rail, reset the bios, check with the power supply how much power is getting when you press the power button
@@electronicsrepairschool I had the same problem with one motherboard, it was blinking, so after all the things I tried I googled the number of blinks for that motherboard and it actually was faulty charger which seemed ok with 19v it was giving. After I tried the new one, it worked normal. Google is our friend. After all I found you Sorin through google and that was my best google search and video click ever.
