I’ve have a samsung rv 511 with touchpad not working, and very hot, it can keep my coffee warm, i found two capacitors C3, C1 shorted, on the touchpad board, i’d like to replace them but i dont know the value, i can not find schematics. Could you please help me ?

Hi. Why do you exchange the test leads for the continuity test( Red lead goes to the USB/Grnd and Black to the middle of the charging port)? I thought once was enough as they are the same?
Im going to be doing this later today. I keep my circuit board cleaner in a Chanel No 5 spray bottle, but my wife has claimed it. So I have to go and buy more.

Hello sir, I am from UAE, watching and enjoying your videos daily, I have one problem which irritate me too much. My Lenovo ThinkPad T420 some times works fine but sometime suddenly screen freez in light blue and then I have to remove battery and power but.....after this if I restart ....only power light blinking and nothing happen, what ever I do it will not start and i have to keep untouch then for 3 or 4 days then it will work perfectly. Again after some days same prob.
Base on your experience what could be most likely problem.

My friend can you explain what you did using diode mode? you checked firstly positive pin and had no voltage drop right? then you had voltage drop measuring ground with ground?

1:14 to 1:26 you're using meter on diode mode ? but I don't understand what you're measuring.
check on your laptop on diode mode, if the charging port its good, you will see reading, if not, you will see nothing
so I put digital multimeter on diode mode, and negative on ground positive on positive pin , if there's a voltage drop of around something like .560 or some other value means the charging port is ok?
Do have a daycare center there? Always hear kids screaming

salut,in cazul in care un laptop hp ceva cu amd procesor proneste la rece ,merge cateva minunte dupa care incepe sa se restarteze ,e cumva chipsetul video?si inca o intrebare ,ce verific mai departe daca am 19 v am 3.3 v si am 5 v dar laptopul tot nu porneste sau se restarteaza ?care sunt cauzele urmatoare daca ic simte ceva si ii da shut down?

and even before it comes on at starting windows, the screen always gets white before it loads to desktop...bt hv change the screen is still behaving thesame....

happened to me. Install win 10 and update or install the manufacture drivers from the hp website. Can be a issue with wifi driver
