    I have owned Johnson American bulldogs for 15 years now up to 4 at times love them ❤️ 😊

  • @randysnewbiebluesrockguita7782

    I have a service dog who is a Scotts American Bulldog. He is THEE best dog I've ever known in my 60 years. No one can tell me that these dog's are mean, they love everyone but they will protect who they love the most. MY Farley is very tolerant of other people unless they make a fast move toward me that looks aggressive . other than that he would never even warn anyone he just gives kisses and loves his belly rub. I'm a disabled person ( Vet) and this dog has given my life back to me.

    When you start breeding for color, you are going in the wrong direction in my opinion
    American Bulldogs are amazing! Top breed , no doubt

      Tethers give an animal more square footage to live in than most kennels/cages. If a dog has shelter in the drag area that’s all it needs. Working dogs are purposely kept outside bc their drive makes it nearly impossible to keep them contained indoors.

    • @brettchattaway5242
      @brettchattaway5242 2 года назад +1

      Dead right mate , if a dog tethered properly has good shelter, food and water , good daily mental and physical stimulation that a high drive dog needs , they are a content dog.

    • @brettchattaway5242
      @brettchattaway5242 2 года назад

      Dogs left on poor chain set ups where the dog can get tangled or worse and they get no stimulation, yes that is very sad

    My American Bulldog is 97lbs. Sweetest most loving dog I've ever known. My dad has a dog that attacks people and dogs. It attacked my girlfriend's little dog so I jumped on my dad's dog to pull her off and next thing I knew my Odin had her by the throat. He just grabbed her and held her

    I've owned a few Bully' and Boxers, all but one were nothing short of amazing! Starting with the first being a full blooded American Bulldog, Sadie.. Simply the best family dog as well as protector! Unfortunately my last one went rogue on my young Child and was never abused neglected fought and this came from nowhere about 7 years ago, I have not owned a dog since. I would really love to attain another American Bulldog but I don't know exactly what to look for as there seems to be a lot pre-defined traits and characteristics involved before the dog is given a home (or vice versa).. Any recommendations on what to look for in this breed for making sure with proper training it will be safe around all my Youngins, as I now have 2 more toddlers who deserve a great dog, I just don't want to make a mistake with picking a breeder, any input would be very much appreciated! Thanks for the video Sir!

      @@RickyBobby42069 Can you please elaborate alapaha or bulldog that has working blood? Do you mean an Alpha as in dominant, and by working blood like in the rare case I would find one taking down bulls? My best bullys have been the runts, and i see a patttern now where once a dog tastes blood it is no longer trustworthy, please correct me if I am wrong on this. Thank you!

      @@secredeath Thank You for your reccomendation, from my understanding this breed you say is basically the same thing as an American Bulldog, what is the difference? Sorry for the lack of knowledge, much has evolved since I started my journey with these amazing loving and rarely but sometimes very dangerous dogs. I say that with all respect to them however, I used to believe there was no bad dog, just a bad owner, i have found this unfortunately to a great expense money cannot compensate that is untrue

      ... to be like, top of the line, like, 1000s of dollars for the puppy, its not just looks, its all of it... the temperment, the attitude, all of it... read the “breed standard” you want your mom and dad dogs to meet this fully.
