Colin Baker is my favourite Doctor, such a great actor. He always does everything with such passion. I love his Big Finish work and the way the Sixth Doctor has mellowed. Great trailer, this really does his doctor justice.
@@nutmas7185 I'm sorry but this is a matter of opinion. For some, Colin was the worst, for others he wasn't. For me Hartnell was the worst, that doesn't mean that you're wrong or I'm right, it just means we have different opinions
Wow. Just wow. I mean, the classics are good on their own, but putting them to the modern sound track really reminds you it's still the same show, the same _man_ we call the doctor, and it's overwhelming. Really, this got my heart racing. Thank you.
I feel like the only reason this season is hated so much is because everyone listens to people who hate this season, and therefore they hate this season. I didn't find out that this season was hated until after I had watched all the episodes, and I loved this season. I don't know why it gets so much hatred! Attack of the Cybermen and Vengeance on Varos were brilliant, The Mark of the Rani was nice, The Two Doctors was a good revival for Pat Troughton, TimeLash was the dud of the season, which every season has, and Revelation of the Daleks was fabulous!
I think it gets hated because of how dark & morose it was . The level of violence also increased .Personally, I dont think it was very good storytelling from what I remember watching . I agree with Revelation of the Daleks, but the Dr & Peri were hardly in it .
Agreed....a sadly underrated Doctor...and not really given the chance to blossom. We start to see the change in Season 23...but of course, fate took a different course. Brilliant trailer...some of the best bits of the season! :)
As with season 21, season 22 had some funny/horrific/memorable scripts. Harper once again directed the most well loved story. Matthew Robinson also delivered more grit. Sarah Hellings gave us some nice historical stuff. Jones did as well with Varos as he did with Frontios. But Roberts and Moffat struggled to convince with their stories. Four out of six directors did well.
I've always admired this season because, whilst having one of _the_ worst stories in Timelash, it also has two very, very good stories in Revelation of the Daleks and Vengeance on Varos, as well as The Two Doctors, The Mark of the Rani, and Attack of the Cybermen, all of which I grown to very much enjoy.
Noah Mayer Spore I agree but on Rani. I hate it as much as Timelash and when it was on the Horror Channel a couple of years ago I only lasted 2 episodes. I did tried 3 times when it was on and could not go further.
TARDISELLIOT TRAILERS Could you possibly do a trailer for The Trial of a Timelord? Aside from what everyone says about it, it is actually a very inventive and enjoyable story arc. Honestly, I enjoy all the episodes placed in that, excluding the final two. It would be awesome if you could! :)
This is really good, very cleverly done. Colin Baker was my favourite Doctor, I never really liked any of them after him. Maybe with the exception of Matt Smith.
I never liked NuWho. I have never thought that RTD, Moffat, or Chibnall were good writers or showrunners. Everything that RTD and Chibnall write is trite, syrupy, and cliche, and Moffat tries too hard to sound clever, but just sounds vacuous.
Season 22 is so much better than season 23. Season 22 had real stories and variety between serials. Season 23 had 2 new ideas, the valeyard and the trial, and repeated them to beyond tedium. Colin needed something like the originally planned season 23.
The show would have been even better than tom baker if they had given him a better companion and ofcourse better writing(and better outfit) colin baker was a very very very good actor i would have realy liked to see him succed
The costume does not make a doctor, and personally I really like Peri, it was more the poor writing and a very bad opening story that caused problems for Colin. Whilst I really like Colins Doctor, Tom Baker is unbeatable because even when the stories were poor he could make them interesting and entertaining.
+TARDISELLIOT TRAILERS Nothing against colin, i thought he was ok, but great... well, not really. I thought colin overacted a bit, which did not compliment the smug attitude of his doctor. He was good, definitely memorable, but not one of the best in my opinion.
Colin baker was in my opinion one of the best classic doctors and had so much potential,it wasn't exactly his fault that he had to wear a stupid outfit and chase down corridors.to be honest he just got the bum deal of all of the doctors cast and had to deal with the bad production of bbc at that time.he shouldn't have got fired at least 1 more season.he did have his mood swings and violence like strangling perry.but come on nearly every doctor has that violence factor even tom baker.
If I saw this trailer in 1985 I would be like omg as this season saw Cybermen, Daleks and Sontarans return as well as the 2nd Doctor and Jamie. Season 22 is okay but not the best, it's a pity that the planned season 23 didn't happen and we got 'Trial' instead.
that was a massive loss, the ideas for season 23 sounded brilliant, I actually rather enjoyed Season 22, yes not all episodes are classic but they are far better than Trial in my opinion. (Trial is one of my least fav seasons)
TARDISELLIOT TRAILERS I feel if Series 23 did went ahead then it would made me liked Colin much better as the planned stories sounded great. Have to agree that the Trail series was such a let down
This was actually one of the better JNT seasons, in my opinion. I think fans mostly just dislike Colin Baker's Doctor and era because they judge too much from aesthetics, always make the mistake of starting with _The Twin __-Disaster-__ Dilemma_ and because the fanbase can't abide any truly violent situations.
One of the all time great seasons, still underrated by sheep-like imbeciles who'll then turn around and tell you how wonderful the last couple of years have been!
Here's the thing. I like capaldis seasons, and I like this season a lot. I HATE what Chris "no talent" chinballs has done to this show. Even the worst of the shows past shines brightly compared to series 11 and 12. Probably beyond.
As much as he is one of my least favourite Doctor's (being beaten by The War Doctor and Peter Cushing...you read that right) I do admit that he had every chance to be one of the greats, its just that he had shit material to work with.
Such a great actor with such a vast potential... Ruined by the most talentless, the most disgusting writing and producing in the entire history of Doctor Who.
Colin Baker is my favourite Doctor, such a great actor. He always does everything with such passion. I love his Big Finish work and the way the Sixth Doctor has mellowed. Great trailer, this really does his doctor justice.
They are brilliant, top-notch. He finally gets the material he needs for his best performance.
Colin is also my favourite. Everyone mocks me though, even my mother.
Blue Rabbit I HATED THAT DOCTOR
I’m sorry but Colin was the worst out of all of the classics

I really like Colin Baker's Doctor. I just wish he had better material than he was given.
Wow.

one of my favourite series!! genuinely!
Fantastic guy, such a shame that the writers brought him down... btw fantastic trailer!
Colin's era was great. So underrated.
Yes, he really is 'massively underrated.' The more I watch him the better I like him!
I much enjoyed series 22 than anything new who has produced of late! It's seriously one of my favourites!
Peri is an under rated companion

TARDISELLIOT TRAILERS Great Trailer 4 the most underrated Doctor !
Another brilliant trailer!

Great Doctor, and Perry was awesome 😍
Underrated, indeed.
What a season.
Fantastic video!!

TARDISELLIOT TRAILERS I don't see the hate Twin Dilemma gets. I personally find 2 Doctors a bore. It's too long and Troughton is my favorite doctor.
1:05 😂 XD
Sarah Greene from Blue Peter at 01:46

Grant i would still say that colins classic run was one of the worst. however his big finnish work is amazing.
@@jplegend98 you haven't seen Jodie Whittakers series then. Colin is amazing compared to that non talent.
For me this was the last time it was truly Doctor Who. So sad they never just kept going.
The more I watch Season 22, the more I think it was basically fine.
We needed more full seasons. Trial of a Timelord was a mistake.
take out timelash and it's a near perfect series. (I've never seen mark of the rani)
I thought it was ok. The master was kinda useless in the mark of the rani, and yeah timelash is awful. But Colin and peri were cool.
One of the all time great seasons, still underrated by sheep-like imbeciles who'll then turn around and tell you how wonderful the last couple of years have been!
I couldn't agree with you more!

Such a great actor with such a vast potential... Ruined by the most talentless, the most disgusting writing and producing in the entire history of Doctor Who.
Ah yes the season that almost killed Doctor Who.
Yeah was a bad season
amy clarke yeah and your a bad person
Other the Rani this was a dumpster fire season
