  • In this series I am building an off grid treehouse cabin in the forest. I build in a sustainable and ecological way in the wilderness and nature. This is episode 8 of The Treehouse Experiment documentary on my channel Building in Nature. The tree house is built in a big oak tree in a beautiful forest in The Netherlands. In this episode the roof structure is build and the final design of the treehouse is starting to appear. The beams for the roof are installed and the (emergency) roof is also installed. Exiting times! It is spring, so the forest is very green and looks great!
    I’m Ruud. A designer and filmmaker from The Netherlands. I design and make things.
    I hope you enjoy the building process. Have a nice day!

    You are like in paradise, hearing the singing of the birds surrounding your tree house. So far, I can see how much planning you have done to make it strong and beautiful.

    Hey Ruud! Thank you for uploading a fantastic series. I really admire how such beautiful craftsmanship runs throughout everything you do- the build of course, but also the music and the video editing is a wonder to behold. You are clearly a very talented man and I wish you luck with the rest of this project! I can't wait to see more :)

    Goodness. Nice work but someone get this guy a skill saw, speed square, and a nail gun.. and maybe watch some Larry Haun videos. Your tree house tho and I’m sure it’ll look great when done.

    • @BuildingInNature
      @BuildingInNature  Месяц назад

      Thanks for watching and taking the time to write a comment. If it was a commercial build I would agree, but this is a personal project where speed and efficiency are not the most important. I'm happy with my little setup for now. The nail gun I don't like in the forest, because it is loud (you need ear protection and there will be no birds and animals around anymore) That said, the tools you mention will probably show up in some future episodes when I need them. Thanks for mentioning the speed square, I should use this one more often!
