    If you design a rain collection system, there's your water source for the tree house for the bathroom / kitchen inside, otherwise, you'll always have to haul water up there and basically it's just a box up in a tree. :)

    • @BuildingInNature
      @BuildingInNature  5 месяцев назад +2

      Yes, could be nice! A watering system for the rain will definately be installed in the future.

    • @BuildingInNature
      @BuildingInNature  5 месяцев назад

      Yes! That is also a very good option. I like the color of tung oil on the woods that I am using a bit better. But that's just a personal preference. I would also be happy with linseed oil :)

    Hi Ruud! Kijk uit naar de volgende video in de serie. Het algoritme bracht me deze week naar afl. 1 waarna ik met plezier door de rest ben heen ge-bing’t.
    Ik vroeg me echter af: waar bouw je dit huis? Is het een stuk bos bij je huis? Of heb je het geluk dat je een stuk bos hebt kunnen aankopen?
    Anyway! Props voor je vakwerk in zowel hout- als camerawerk!

  • @luckystrike6179
    @luckystrike6179 4 месяца назад +1

    In my opinion, you could have taken an ordinary plastic film to temporarily protect the house from the rain. That way it would be cheaper and you would save a lot of plywood.
    Greetings from Ukraine! 🙂

    • @BuildingInNature
      @BuildingInNature  4 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for watching! I try to find alternatives to plastic if I can, I don't like that somehow it always deteriorates and ends up everywhere in small pieces. But yes, a plastic film would also work. The thin sheets of plywood are used and I got it for free, because they wanted to trow it away. So for this project it is a good solution. Greetings from The Netherlands.
