Im currently breeding H procyon, thayeri sp red tail, H sp red cherry, H melanaostichos and H peugeotorum (peugeoti) and much more. And ive already pushed down the price of alot of them in sweden due to most of them being fairly easy to spawn if you have alot of spare time. Eilyos is a real challange to spawn from what ive heard
@emilsfishroom Happy breeding! The Swedes sound like great breeders. I wanted to also feature Thayeria sp Redtail and Hyphessobrycon sp Red Cherry too, but didn't have enough B-roll or pictures. The name peugeotorum was redacted quicker than it was published. One week Hans told me to use the plural form, then next Flavio said it was no more.
The genus used to be monotypic, but the genus is expanding. Scratched Tetras going from maybe the most expensive debut I've seen of a tetra, to being available as TR in under a year is a great indication they may be affordable in coming years.
@EmperorTetraObsessedPerson yes, they breed the same. TR specimens from Borbi on Aquabid aren't cheap, but are at a price where they may be a good investment if you want to bred them. I'm sure they'll relist them once the weather warms up
Racoons are so amazing!
@Wen-lv9qk I agree! I love all of the "Lowae" tetra group that have this body shape. Procyon might be the prettiest of them all

@ Kerri tetras are quite easy to breed, Its very likely this will be the case with the scratch tetras
