Been slacking on watching your videos lately. Kinda disappointed I wasn't able to find the information I needed in time for black friday sales, but and missed out on getting my turbo and fuel systems. Just been blah with the sti lately.. Maybe some time away from cars and buying parts will get me back into the swing. I just know I lost a good chance of saving alot of money on parts I know I need. Anyway glad to see you back on the tube making videos. Keep up the great work. ✌️
First time commenting here Josh. Been watching for a bit now. Love this series, the Forester builds and the others as well. Just bough my first Subaru, a 2004 Forester making 262 whp, some bits and bobs of aftermarket goodies. I'm looking forward to having some fun with it down the road
I was just talking to my friend about this. I went with an ra block and STI heads on my 02 wrx, with the STI transmission. I'm at about 300whp, and don't really find my current set up lacking in power. On the back roads, I was surprised how fast I find myself at 90mph during the strait sections. Not sure if a 600 hp would even be as fun for a daily. I'm still rocking the wrx clutch, but when I swap that, i'll probably upgrade the cams, so I can hold a little more power up top/regain some low end torque I'm loosing from the STI cams, and upgrade the turbo to ball bearing/porting.
Bader nuff respect I'm glad you put out on the website the different stages proud of you bro I'm looking forward to doing business with you in the future might be the next 10 years never know might be sooner don't have a Subaru as yet but I love Subaru's
After watching this video. It was definitely clear that i will be going with more power. While weighing the Pros and Cons of the RA short block i just could not think about and worry of a possible ring land failure again. So i decided to go with the IAG 750 EJ25. Excited about it, thank you for your insight.
Po302 on my 2006 Subaru sti. Otc leakdown tester 1st did not read accurately. Kept going. Did all swaps, replaced o2 sensors did noid test. Got a 2nd opinion. Turns out 85% leak. Exhaust valve isdue. $4500 to repair
I just corrected someone about you buying outfront short block and upselling. I was like ummm no bud he uses them as a machine shop but they are blueprinted and built by Josh😂 like I guess outfront put your Initialls JB on the block hahahaha
I have a question 🙋♂️ , if I get pro tuned and engine blow up in the future because time came up on stock type RA block, if I get the same engine to replace it, do I need to Pro tune it again or I can still use same tune ? Sorry for a lame question. Thank you 🙏🏻 for the content 🤝
As I have many customers out there with 500+ whp with 50 + miles on them as well at that power. One being a 21 STI I tuned at 5k miles and made 696whp @ 30psi / 6466 and still going to this day with 45k miles
If you don't like the ARP 2000 studs "because they are weaker than oem head bolts", then why do you sell ARP 2000 studs as an addon option with your shortblock listings on your website?

Curious why Torque Solutions oil pan kit wasn't used since you seemed to be in favor of using their products on your personal builds? No doubt IAGs oil pan kit is great.
Actually have used them a lot, only reason I switched is because I had issues with the oil drain leaking with supplied hardware. IAG one I don’t have to outsource hardware and I already am ordering several parts for builds so it is also easier.
