@@ryderthegamer4935 I think if it’s a passion of Your’s you should try. At least for a year or two and see if you can get some ground work going. Check out your local colleges and universities - they may have student films going on. Or see if there another city close by with opportunities or work from home work that you can apply to. I would probably recommend still doing Tennis if it’s also something you love, but make time for acting too. You never know. Sometimes all it takes is a single opportunity you never expected to turn out to be something big!
I feel like this is the reason a lot of people start acting me included. Acting is good but stressful and you kind of lose yourself in the parts you are given so be careful with that and goodluck on your career

What inspires me the most about acting is the bond of each and every cast in a show. And it's basically my first reason to be an actor in the future. I'm a Civil Engineering student right now, but everytime I watch a good movie or a series, I always imagine afterwards what if i'm the one in there.
My favorite part of being an actor is just hanging out with other actors; whether it's at a rehearsal or during a performance; or between takes or at a wrap party, those people become your family. I have actor friends that I'm closer with than my own family.

I’m a born entertainer, but until recently I was unsure what role truly fit me, but realizing instead that I can fit into roles, has made acting a true pursuit of mine. I want to make people feel things and experience any bottled up emotions and truly know how to feel free, even if it is only for the short while that an episode or film lasts. 1. My inspiration to become an actress comes from watching/analysing characters on screen, the story they tell and the emotions they make the audience feel with a performance. Why I would want to become an actor is simple. From a young age my parents, teachers and friends would ask me what do you want to do when you grow up? And my answer was always acting. My reason being is I watched lots of movies/shows growing up and in real life I love to make people laugh and smile and “act” like someone I’m not. Acting has always been a big goal of mine to achieve ever since that young age even though I never really pursued and put myself out there. The past two years or so I’ve been sending out as many email submissions for background for anything that pops up. The reason I want to be an actor and why I love acting is because I just love the idea of being able to bring a character to life and in turn inspire others to pursue an acting career. I also want to be able to leave my small hometown and prove that I can be among the best of the best. I am 23 right now in the year 2024 (I turn 24 in July) and I have given myself 15 years to work as hard as I can to become an A-list actor that will be known worldwide. I know this won't happen overnight, if it did then everyone would become an actor, but it doesn't so I am ready to put in the time, effort, and money to be the best. You are rewarded in public for what you practice in private.

My reason for wanting to become an actor is because I love seeing how things work behind the scenes, and I love stepping into a character. It’s easy to let loose with a character if you just remind yourself that you are not you.
For me becoming an actor isn't just about being the best and people knowing me. It's something I've always loved and wanted to do. It gives me so much adrenaline just thinking about it, I love to play roles and be on the stage or on camera. I've been a dancer all my life, I've performed on multiple stages and in front of thousands of people. It's what I love to do and what I've always seen myself doing.
I work at Universal Studios and every day I come into contact with anywhere from 6,000 to 40,000 people every day; most of them are wearing T-shirts from their favorite movie or TV show when they arrive and that's exactly how I found out about Stranger Things. I'd never even heard of the show but saw thousands of people wearing shirts with stuff like "Friends don't lie" (etc) that I started to watch the show. I got hooked. And now my goal is to get booked.

I signed with Luxe Talent Agency about a year ago and will be renewing my contract with them within the next few weeks. The most important casting sites (if you're an actor living in LA) are actors access, LA Casting and Casting Frontier. I trained at Playhouse West which was started by Jeff Goldblum (my teachers teacher) and Robert Carnegie. James Franco was also in Jeff's class with my teacher and teaches a class of his own but not at Playhouse West. Had my first supporting role in a feature film about four years ago; have had three lead roles on nationally syndicated TV shows (as a day player, not a regular) but I do a bit of everything - TV, film, theater, industrial, print, voice work, commercial and I teach a free acting class for disabled veterans at the Sepulveda VA.
When I was around 12-13 I joined a drama club and immediately fell in love with the beautiful art of acting. When you’re on stage nothing else matters accept the acting and it feels so incredibly natural to me. It just feels right. I want to be an actor because I have a natural gift for acting and I don’t want to waste it. I want to act in everything, from small voice acting roles in a video game to a huge box office hit, I just love acting.

The first time that I dreamed about becoming an actress, was when I was in third grade, the teacher asked us to do a play for the final grade. I remember every one was playing around, but I had so bad grades that I thought may be this is my chance to get a better grade in the class. I was reading the scene I had a million ideas about how to do the scene. When I went home I practice till I fell asleep, I enjoyed a lot. I remember that at the day of the play I was very nervous and I started acting right away so much that It started to feel real at the beginning I just liked the feeling of acting, the reaction of the other teachers and parents. My mom wasn’t there but when I finish my scene everyone stand on their feet and clapped at me. So to answer the first question I like to create that emotion or feeling in others I like to inspire other people. 1. I was inspired to get into acting after watching Walker Scobell’s performances in his movies. It showed me that also kids my age can make it. If it’s your dream you have to go for it! No one can tell you you can’t. Even if it’s just reciting lines and performing monologues for friends at least you will be performing. I wish you the best of luck. Just find a few monologues and try reading them with different emotions and just have fun with it! That’s the joy of acting.
What country do you live in? If you're in Los Angeles there are tons of schools; some with reasonable prices and some that are ridiculously over-priced. Other states / cities / countries, I don't know about. But if you're really committed to being an actor then you need to be willing to relocate to an area where you can find a good school which you can afford. One of the best acting schools in LA only costs $250 per month; others you have to pay $25,000 up front. If you really want to achieve something you'll find a way - if you don't really want it, you'll find an excuse and that's the difference between the winners and the losers. Winners will always find a solution to every problem; losers will always manage to find a problem with every solution. If you really want to be an actor just do it. I didn't have any training at all when I first started acting and was able to get booked in a supporting role in a feature film; lead roles in theater and a few nationally syndicated TV shows. It wasn't until after I had my first supporting role that I started taking classes. Start now; take classes later. And don't over think it, act first; think later. That's what they'll teach you in acting classes anyway - get out of your head; get into the scene. Stop thinking; start doing. Read books like "On Acting" by Sanford Meisner & watch videos on RUclips - if you can find "Theaters Best Kept Secret" it's worth watching. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other; you'll get there. And once you get here, don't get discouraged if you don't get invited to audition for every role you submit to. Don't get discouraged if you don't get cast in every role you DO audition for. Rejection is just part of the job you have to get used to and get past it. Even if you get rejected 80% of the time - that just means you have to get through that 80% in order to get to the 20% that's going to pay off. For any role you submit to you might be competing with 300 to 3,000 other actors. It's a numbers game.

I've always loved acting, and seeing so many people do an amazing job, makes me want to be like them. The little times I've acted in school plays I genuinely feel free, and feel very happy and safe. A particular set of actors that inspired me were the main kids of Stranger Things: Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Millie Bobby Brown.
i feel you. the stranger things cast has inspired me a ton. i've always been interested in the art of acting, it's so captivating and i love being on stage. it's hard for me to become an actor though since i live in finland. i'm american and finnish so that gives me hope! acting seems like such a fun career choice, all the other careers seem like they would bore me when i'm older. acting has so much to offer!! i have hope that we'll pursue this passion when the time is right :)

The reason I want to be an actor is because i want to work with like minded creative people set on telling stories in a authentic way that reaches as much people as possible. I'm so passionate about film and movie making. It is something that I hope to make a career out of.

My reasoning for wanting to be an actor is simply the passion. Ever since I was 7 I have always had this burning feeling and desire that I'm supposed to be an actor and it really settled in when I was in middle school. As an actor I also want to tell stories to do what I can to make the world a better place. My acting goals however: Marvel Star wars Broadway Television Commercials You name it, I want it.
1. My life has never been fulfilling to me I've always wanted more and so being able to live so many lives through the characters you play as an actor has always been very appealing to me and I enjoy doing it and the rush it gives me to step out of my comfort zone and into someone else's skin. 2. My biggest acting goal is to be the main antagonist in a movie series or tv show, it's just something about playing a villain and still having compassion and sympathy from viewers that seems so hard and I want to work with netflix. I also want to become a household name because as an ethnic person that is very hard to do and I want that, I want people to know my name.
Ever since I was a kid I've always loved movies. Being able to sit down in the theater and escape my reality was so fascinating to me. But lately that spark has reignited when I watched Austin Butler's performance in "Elvis". He was amazing and I want to be able to make an impact like other actors before me on the big screen. @@ryderthegamer4935 I think if it’s a passion of Your’s you should try. At least for a year or two and see if you can get some ground work going. Check out your local colleges and universities - they may have student films going on. Or see if there another city close by with opportunities or work from home work that you can apply to. I would probably recommend still doing Tennis if it’s also something you love, but make time for acting too. You never know. Sometimes all it takes is a single opportunity you never expected to turn out to be something big!

Why I wanna be an actor: I’m a person who easily get bored with reality, and the possibilities it offers, so being able to kinda “live” in other realities, designed to be interesting seems amazing. Plus all the small challenges you have to face on set seems to make every day different.

What inspires me the most about acting is the bond of each and every cast in a show. And it's basically my first reason to be an actor in the future. I'm a Civil Engineering student right now, but everytime I watch a good movie or a series, I always imagine afterwards what if i'm the one in there.
My favorite part of being an actor is just hanging out with other actors; whether it's at a rehearsal or during a performance; or between takes or at a wrap party, those people become your family. I have actor friends that I'm closer with than my own family.

I want to make people feel the emotional depth I feel when I see shows and movies that move me. I want to move people the way I’ve felt. I’m a born entertainer, but until recently I was unsure what role truly fit me, but realizing instead that I can fit into roles, has made acting a true pursuit of mine. I want to be an actor to bring new life to the screen or the stage. At first I wanted to be one to escape my life and make a lot of cash, be famous, but then I grew up gained confidence and gave it some time. When I did that I realized it’s my passion to be on screen or in front of a large crowd of people whether it’s giving a speech or comedy or radio, news or acting anything to do with me connecting to other people instantly intrigues me.
I thought I wanted to be an actress for fame and to have money or be recognised. But then I realised I had been acting all my life, through masking as a neurodivergent teen. I just want to be seen and it's a comfort to remind myself that being someone else can bring joy and happiness instead of struggling through an identity crisis every two weeks. I just want to be someone, to not be forgotten, I want to be loved, I want to inspire people that it does get better, no matter how hard it is now you can get through it.

1. My inspiration to become an actress comes from watching/analysing characters on screen, the story they tell and the emotions they make the audience feel with a performance. I would love to be a part of that in someone’s life and make them feel something through a performance. Why I would want to become an actor is simple. From a young age my parents, teachers and friends would ask me what do you want to do when you grow up? And my answer was always acting. My reason being is I watched lots of movies/shows growing up and in real life I love to make people laugh and smile and “act” like someone I’m not. The reason I want to be an actor and why I love acting is because I just love the idea of being able to bring a character to life and in turn inspire others to pursue an acting career. I also want to be able to leave my small hometown and prove that I can be among the best of the best. I am 23 right now in the year 2024 (I turn 24 in July) and I have given myself 15 years to work as hard as I can to become an A-list actor that will be known worldwide. It gives me so much adrenaline just thinking about it, I love to play roles and be on the stage or on camera. I've been a dancer all my life, I've performed on multiple stages and in front of thousands of people. It's what I love to do and what I've always seen myself doing.

I work at Universal Studios and every day I come into contact with anywhere from 6,000 to 40,000 people every day; most of them are wearing T-shirts from their favorite movie or TV show when they arrive and that's exactly how I found out about Stranger Things. I'd never even heard of the show but saw thousands of people wearing shirts with stuff like "Friends don't lie" (etc) that I started to watch the show. I got hooked. And now my goal is to get booked.

I signed with Luxe Talent Agency about a year ago and will be renewing my contract with them within the next few weeks. The most important casting sites (if you're an actor living in LA) are actors access, LA Casting and Casting Frontier. I trained at Playhouse West which was started by Jeff Goldblum (my teachers teacher) and Robert Carnegie. James Franco was also in Jeff's class with my teacher and teaches a class of his own but not at Playhouse West.
Had my first supporting role in a feature film about four years ago; have had three lead roles on nationally syndicated TV shows (as a day player, not a regular) but I do a bit of everything - TV, film, theater, industrial, print, voice work, commercial and I teach a free acting class for disabled veterans at the Sepulveda VA.

When I was around 12-13 I joined a drama club and immediately fell in love with the beautiful art of acting. When you’re on stage nothing else matters accept the acting and it feels so incredibly natural to me. It just feels right. I want to be an actor because I have a natural gift for acting and I don’t want to waste it. 1. I love the idea of being able to be someone else for a moment. Learn what different people go through, how different people think and act. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to step out of your own body for a second. Being an ensemble in elementary school inspired me to become an actor, the feeling of being in the spotlight was amazing.

I want to act because I enjoy acting as someone who's not me, and I want to help people enjoy stuff more. It probably stemmed from when I watched movies and tv shows as a kid. I always enjoyed pretending to be something to have fun, and now it's that and an escape from reality.
I’d want to be an actor because it’s a way to explore different perspectives and live many lives in one. Acting gives the chance to tell stories that can move people emotionally, challenge their thinking, or provide a sense of escape. It’s about connecting with an audience, stepping out of your comfort zone, and continuously learning. The thrill of performing and the creativity involved would make it incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.
The first time that I dreamed about becoming an actress, was when I was in third grade, the teacher asked us to do a play for the final grade. I remember every one was playing around, but I had so bad grades that I thought may be this is my chance to get a better grade in the class. I was reading the scene I had a million ideas about how to do the scene. When I went home I practice till I fell asleep, I enjoyed a lot. I remember that at the day of the play I was very nervous and I started acting right away so much that It started to feel real at the beginning I just liked the feeling of acting, the reaction of the other teachers and parents. My mom wasn’t there but when I finish my scene everyone stand on their feet and clapped at me.
So to answer the first question I like to create that emotion or feeling in others I like to inspire other people.
For my acting goals I picture my self “ I am winning an Oscar for best actress on my hands”. I will like to change the acting world forever.

1. I was inspired to get into acting after watching Walker Scobell’s performances in his movies. It showed me that also kids my age can make it. Even though I’m still unsure because I feel like you can only have that kind of success living in the USA… nevertheless that really got me interested in auditioning, and drama classes.
2. My goals are to play in some sort of play, even a small school play, go to an acting or drama class, and star in a big movie someday. I want to make my family proud and bring some action into my life.

i want to become an actor because i love watching movies and just imagining the fun you’d have as an actor like making friends along the way, going to different places to make a scene and i like analyzing movie characters.
1: I always wanted to be an actress since I was a kid because of movies I was watching with my dad, but now it really became a dream since I saw Forrest Gump. The fact they you have to push yourself to think, talk and act like another person is something that I always loved to do even when I am alone it helps me create another reality.
2 : my acting goals are to be in a Marvel movie, or in a biographical movie this is like a dream for me !

If it’s your dream you have to go for it! No one can tell you you can’t. Even if it’s just reciting lines and performing monologues for friends at least you will be performing. I wish you the best of luck. Just find a few monologues and try reading them with different emotions and just have fun with it! That’s the joy of acting.
What country do you live in? If you're in Los Angeles there are tons of schools; some with reasonable prices and some that are ridiculously over-priced. Other states / cities / countries, I don't know about. But if you're really committed to being an actor then you need to be willing to relocate to an area where you can find a good school which you can afford. One of the best acting schools in LA only costs $250 per month; others you have to pay $25,000 up front. If you really want to achieve something you'll find a way - if you don't really want it, you'll find an excuse and that's the difference between the winners and the losers. Winners will always find a solution to every problem; losers will always manage to find a problem with every solution.
If you really want to be an actor just do it. I didn't have any training at all when I first started acting and was able to get booked in a supporting role in a feature film; lead roles in theater and a few nationally syndicated TV shows. It wasn't until after I had my first supporting role that I started taking classes. Start now; take classes later. And don't over think it, act first; think later. That's what they'll teach you in acting classes anyway - get out of your head; get into the scene. Stop thinking; start doing. Read books like "On Acting" by Sanford Meisner & watch videos on RUclips - if you can find "Theaters Best Kept Secret" it's worth watching. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other; you'll get there.
And once you get here, don't get discouraged if you don't get invited to audition for every role you submit to. Don't get discouraged if you don't get cast in every role you DO audition for. Rejection is just part of the job you have to get used to and get past it. Even if you get rejected 80% of the time - that just means you have to get through that 80% in order to get to the 20% that's going to pay off. For any role you submit to you might be competing with 300 to 3,000 other actors. It's a numbers game.

I've always loved acting, and seeing so many people do an amazing job, makes me want to be like them. The little times I've acted in school plays I genuinely feel free, and feel very happy and safe. A particular set of actors that inspired me were the main kids of Stranger Things: Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Millie Bobby Brown.
i feel you. the stranger things cast has inspired me a ton. i've always been interested in the art of acting, it's so captivating and i love being on stage. it's hard for me to become an actor though since i live in finland. i'm american and finnish so that gives me hope! acting seems like such a fun career choice, all the other careers seem like they would bore me when i'm older. acting has so much to offer!! i have hope that we'll pursue this passion when the time is right :)

Ever since I was a kid I've always loved movies. Being able to sit down in the theater and escape my reality was so fascinating to me. But lately that spark has reignited when I watched Austin Butler's performance in "Elvis". He was amazing and I want to be able to make an impact like other actors before me on the big screen. Winning and Oscar is a huge goal of mine.
