Hey there, I have a normal Jetson Bolt and my friend has the Bolt Pro. Riding these bikes are super fun and are just so cool to drive around. Recently my Bolt’s tire popped for some reason. I have been considering to get the Bolt Pro like my friend. I got a first hand experience and everything I need if I wanted to get the Pro. He bought his Bolt Pro used, not remanufactured, used off eBay. I didn’t know until watching this video that the old owner changed the seat, removed the brake light and back fender. But my friend has a problem with battery life and charging. He charged the bike for 4 hours and it was still on one. We have rode each others e bike and we have a lot of things to say to each other like I have a better battery life and his has better tires. Overall this video really helped me uncover secrets about the Bolt Pro that I didn’t know, and I will consider upgrading from the Bolt to the Bolt Pro.
We’ve owned these for close to a year. They’re not at all perfect but they’re shockingly underestimated. They’re small, inexpensive (I bought mine from Costco for between $250-$340 before they stopped selling them.) The handlebars fold and quick removal of lowering of the seat post makes it really easy to put them in a tighter space. I also took the pedals off of mine sometimes but folding pedals are a nice compromise. There are no extra gears to save your thighs on sharper inclines. It’s not advanced in that way,’in my estimation, but there are workarounds for some situations - hill avoidance/different path, diagonal rising, higher velocities pre-hill,…or just brute force effort. I cannot recommend it enough. We have kind of “graduated” to a more powerful set of ebikes but I have zero regrets about the JBP’s and plan to keep them for when friends and family visit. Family bike rides are fantastic.
As a matter of fact I have two remanufactured bolt pros on the way. I just got the shipping notification today. We are anxiously awaiting their arrival!
@@thedigitaldivide3958 got them yesterday. Did 9 miles on them around town. Going out for a ride here in a little bit too. So far so good. They’re a lot of fun and a GREAT value as far as any E-vehicles go! (I also have a E-scooter, a larger Ebike, and had an electric long board)
@@ivmstang just ordered a remanufactured bolt pro off of the jetson website and I am excited! Thanks for easing my worries. I will update when I receive the bike. Did it come assembled? Parker from California
@@ScreenMasters369 had to put on pedals and a few little details (tools were included). But they are a great deal! Went out for a ride on it yesterday actually! Still love the little bikes!
Just got mine to from the same place couldn’t pass this deal up myself either a great buy I already have a replaced seat for it as well great lil product
This is great I got a escooter but it’s really high end and not very transportable I live in a city with lots of trials and I got this for 300$ + tax at Costco great deal I picked it up instantly and been loving it ever since such a great lil ride that’s fun and convenient!
Hasnt been stolen yet. I keep it indoors when not in use, so its never just sitting outside on a lock. Lock is only used if I take it out to grab lunch downtown for an hour or so. For a bike I only paid $250 for, it makes no sense to spend $100+ on the lock.
You said you're just under 6', is that fine for your size? I'm exactly 6', and I sat on 1 in Costco today and I was flat foot on the ground with it pretty much at the top, so I'm just wondering how comfortable it is to ride as a slightly tall person.
Love the video. It was the deciding factor for me to get it. One question…. Do you have a link for the bag attached to the seat post that you use to hold your lock?

It’s easy math. Based on the battery capacity and my height/weight- I’m getting about the correct rated milage. If the battery was heavily degraded I wouldn’t be getting half of what I’m getting
Time no offence but cable locks are garbage they can be snipped off within two seconds! Never buy a cable lock ever! Get kryptonite, or Abus, or something that actually is worth what you pay for it! At least these locks, the thieves will have to struggle with before they get them off your bike! They’ll need a grinder, or some giant bolt cutters at least! Cable I can be snipped off with a simple pair of hand shears!

Why are the ones at Bestbuy showing a 30 mile range? Maybe a newer model or am I in for an expected surprise?

I am getting one of these as the first step to a mobility scooter. It should live long enough for me to build phase 2.
Good informative and helpful review! Your review is way better than mine lol
Other than a horrible lock the video appears to be quite well done! Thank you!

Picked up two of them. Plan to hack the speed and an additional battery with diode wiring harness.
Nice, let me know how that mod works out
How did it work out for you? I really want my bike to go faster. The speed limitation of 15 mph feels so unsafe when I’m trying to ride on the street
@@birez6625 still in progress … but I’ll keep you posted!
@@dkeithtagso how is the mod coming, any success?
Any ideas on how to do this yet

Did you ever reprogram yours yet?
Not yet
Any chance you reprogrammed it?
Nice! It is twin of Kugoo v1
I’m not familiar with Kugoo
Kugoo is faster , 28 MPH. Kugoo same shape and size but has bigger motor 400 watts. And bigger battery 48 volt.
Greta review man just got one myself excited fro try it out
How long did it take for it to arrive
About a week or so
How to control the speed
Through the wrist throttle
