For more than 10 years I've heard and been waiting to see some progress but Bala blue
No mind them. I'm not even sure why they keep talking about it.
same with the eko project
This projects all we see is blueprints.the Nigerian economy which isn’t stable and security is scaring investors.even Eko Atlantic City after a decade the construction isn’t even gotten to 20%.this is a disgrace to Nigeria.
Don't mind them
😅😂😂😂😂😂😂
The project has not gone beyond the artistic level in the last ten years.
Hahaha 😂,I de tell u
Do you think this is a 1 billion project?
Before Buhari Nigeria was developing 6% anually in capitalism, currency was strong, foreign investors was investing, in 2014 everything changed and slowed down Nigeria progress. Thats how socialism/communism works...
@@arr8577 We were neither communist nor socialist during Buhari's government. Why would you even think that
@@davidk.d.7591 results speak for themselves, so could you explain why Nigeria gdp growth slowed down? Was it by any chance due to change policy from privatised to state owning companies? And how did it work out?
Nice project, but why are we not talking about world class transport network system within these new cities and also to link them with other places. The plan of this Centenary city should include a modern day state of the art technology tram transport that runs within the city and links it with other major areas in Abuja, for an example. It might as well have a modern cable transport linking it to central Abuja since it is on a hilly area. A major rail line (standard gauge) with major station that connect's it to other major cities such as Kano, Kaduna etc with a flight liner track for the industrial haulage in other to reduce road traffic congestion from truck on longer distances especially, cheaper haulage of both finished goods leaving the factories and raw materials coming into the factories. It will help to maintain life expectancy of the road carriage ways (their structural integrity) which is highly economical in terms mitigating untimely investment on road maintenance projects. It will reduce road users cost on vehicular maintenance and less journey time within the area. Comfort property, this is this fundamental basis for getting return on investment for this type of mega projects as it attracts other activities within and around the new city. Unfortunately you guys didn't mention anything about transportation planning and projects within the new city apart from telling us the name of the river which I have forgotten lol..
Damn, i thought i was the only one wondering why abuja wont have tram and streetkars
NIGERIA IS BLESSED,PEACEFUL & PROSPEROUS. NIGERIANS & NIGERIA IS ON THE WAY TO BE THE ENVY & JEALOUSY OF THE WORLD
With thiefnubu ape-man you think
Anything but peaceful pls.
This city-Centenary City is going to be one of the best city in the world✍️
I think they're going to need more than 18 billion.
There’s a similar project in Adamawa state. It’s called SEBORE FARMS.
This is massive and will put Nigeria at her number 1 position in Africa trust me
lol no
Country's with this kind of city models such as Dubai and UAE, all have a production based Economy. Nigeria currently is a consuming economy.
18 billion Dollar project... While Buhari's government alone has already incurred a 77 trillion Naira debt.
We play too much in this country.
An opportunity to change things came in 2023, we flopped again. Corruption has this country on chokehold and it will take a lot of effort to free it.
God help us.
Centenary City Project, it's time to show us more videos of work on ground, of the magnitude of a city.
You should be past just showing the architectural model and promotional video, repeatedly . We actually need to see more evidence of construction.
If you watch to the end you will see it
@@Comfortproperties1 I watched until the end. This project has been going since GEJ was President and I've been following it since then.
The project is for a CITY , not a mini estate and for a good 10 years or more, its been videos of that showroom you visited with the architectural model. I frequent that area, every now and then and there is not a hive of activity to suggest an actual city is being built.
@@sylviasworld9397 I thought I was the only one who have seen it all
It seems like smoke and mirrors. All talk to get people drawn in but nothing happens
This is a scam. No investors are coming here because nothing has been achieved for the past 12 years. 😂
Great. Hope they have prepared spaces for churches.
😂😂😂😂 Nigerians and churches
YES YES YES!
I just pray this comes to accomplishment. It will be a boom and a huge upgrade for my city, Abuja in particular and Nigeria at large
This project need serious investors....But the government need solve the insecurity problem first.
so correct i'm sure that will be settled soon.
good job bro you did well with promoting this place.
I leave close to this place I have not seen anything yet but looking forward to it
This project is there for years and I have been there for long. I don't think it'll come soon
I will believe it when I see it!!👋
Centenary City project was proposed and planned by a Dubai City developer during GEJ regime but now they are long gone leaving behind their master plan for people like Mr Olisha to feed ill-informed Nigerians a Tales By Moonlight
And the dream is going to come into reality soon ✍️Masha Allah
Nigeria need centenary town comprising of a land locked beach named Oasis beach. Come on nigeria think efficiently for excellence.
Am just happy. I can wait
Centenary City is just a remarkable Paradise in Abuja, Nigeria to see these new buildings on the West Africa continent in 2023❤❤❤
I am interested in seeing the Centanary city with the prospect of getting g a property and want to know more about the investment opportunities
Wow amazing city.
Thanks 🙏
You guys keep showing us the same building with no or slow progression. You should be seeking investors at this time.
This is definitely going to be finished! A Yes-man is appointed to manage this project! Yes, yes, yes! 😂
We keep on, drawing city but not productions that can empower these cities. Dubai grew developed out of the marketing economy then puss the capital into the evolving city/ real estate development.
Make sure you build an overhead light rail from the airport to the city...
18 billon dollars indeed. If $18 billion is invested in Abuja it should be amongst one of the best cities in the world. This one na over hyping it's all lies jare.
Lol 😆😂😂 I tell you
Nigeria defies all logic 😮.
Brilliant Project worth investing into. My take is the naming should be more african and also what is the plan for transportation?

A couple leisure centres more like it.
Is Ekon City completed?
The best city with terrific plans in Awka is Awka Millennium city. It is sitting on 1.2 Million hectares, no other comes close in Nigeria. Google about it.
Nice nicr
I believe you but why not shoot your own video to portray your city?
That would just be another Lego building blocks like child's play!
Don't bank on it !
Akwa has no national appeal!
Boasting when no evidence to show the actual construction of your dream city. 😂 Another delusional fantasy.
So how much funds have been raised / appropriated for this project? I have seen too many videos talking big of it, without nothing tangible to show, safe a model.
You guys should be fast and build this place
Yes ma
Seeing how slow ekko Atlantic is my faith is low for seeing this project completed in the next 30 years
Abuja is hot like hell Dubai Nigeria capital need to be relocate to Southern Nigeria
It’s more humid in the south
Nigeria is so big that they fail to conquer other states and focus on Abuja and lagos and use the south's oil to use those two places. There will be a time these two states will vanish and I am keen on doing this.
The project is freaking delaying
And my question ❓ is
Is the centenary city a government project or private project
Of course, Alaro City by Rendeavour is similar, it is being built on a 3,000 Hectares of land in Epe, Lagos. Rendeavour has built similar cities in Nairobi Kenya and Accra Ghana.
What's the level of work's in alaro city projects now pls?
The Universal one apartments are being built, roads are being tarred, especially the 8 lanes highway inside the estate is nearing completion. It is gradually coming up.

I have heard of this project for years now and nothing is happening here except just talks. Will it take forever to achieve it???? Same with eko Atlantic city and after several years of development, you can hardly see anything going on there. We're just good at procrastination.
There was a pause but now it’s officially started construction is on going
Can you show us what has been done, I saw they started something but the road quality finishing was poor
Nothing going on at Eko Atlantic city?. Pls don't pass wrong info to people. Eko Atlantic city is being built

If Nigeria wants to avoid complete social collapse,, the leaders and elite must stop all these stupid city projects and focus on affordable housing for the poor, schools and health centres. Jakande's success was building housing estates for the low and middle-income Nigerians and opening up Lekki for private development, today Lekki is now a city and millions of Lagosians had access to affordable housing, health care and education in the 1980s.
still waiting for anything to be built...
We begin waiting for this dream city since more than 10 years ago but unfortunately still dreaming in a deep sleeping, nonsense.
Will the wild life safari area have elephants? I love elephants, but I know they can also be destructive. Is the safari park fenced in?
Wake up from your dream
@Comfort Properties Please kindly answer my question. Will the project manager higher foreign Structural Engineers for this tall buildings or will they take advantage of our local engineers?
We work with both sir
Honestly the architecture looks very similar to cities I've been to here in China, for example Guangzhou, Shanghai, Nanchang and Haikou (free trade port) just to name a few...I'm pretty sure mainly Chinese will come over and build most of it.
Lack of visionary leadership coupled with endemic corruption and greed will not let huge dreams like this come true, I just pity the young Olisa, and Comfort Property Copany for taking out their time in letting us know about this state of the Arts investment, though long term in focus, but I pray that things turn out pretty quickly than expected.

Pls can they plan moRe cities like this all over the Country???! Can State Governor Revamp Cities Across NIGERIA🇳🇬🇳🇬 like this??? Also housing Developer should plan Better housing across the Country & Federal & State Government should put in Building policies for proper living & building spaces to ensure that Builders build well & properly in different cities in the Country. Are you saying if I invest my hard earned money in this desert barren land, 2moro you won't turn around to say Abuja na Fulani city like Lagos? 😀
And who might you be addressing?
What has Fulani got to do with Abuja ?
They are just as "foreign" to Abuja as you are!
A great area of Abuja was not necessarily inhabited, but the nearest ethnicities to the area are the Gbagyi (Gwari) and perhaps Nupe people!
Besides investments does not necessarily mean you have to live in a place...just as long as your returns are entering your account!
@@aframaco9491 El-Rufai et al have a different view from yours. Kaduna was once owned by indigenous people; today it's controlled by Islamic Fulani and the indigenous people decimated. Kaduna has always been a multi ethnic place, both the city and the state has always had plural ethnicity groups indigenous to the place!

Such huge infrastructure should be suspended until the Nigeria project is redefined. A situation where Niger-Delta oil/ Gas is used to build Abuja like Lagos, Dangote and co travellers will buy up Federal govt assets and indigenoship of the land will spring up and other Nigerians will lose out, especially those who suffer environmental consequences of resource exploration why the gold and other precious minerals from the North are being stolen by political elites from that region.
