How does this only have 40,271 views? This video is AMAZING! That 3D animation was incredible! Moreover, it's absolutely incredible that people have figured all of these components out. It's rather mindblowing.
I have the BW4482 full time 4WD in my 2005 Tahoe. It’s quite rare. It does really well but I wish I had the normal transfer case with 2Hi and 4Hi locked.
Hi. I'm looking at a used Suburban with the same transfer case as your truck. What don't you like about the 4482? Is it durable/reliable? What issues have you found? Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a great Christmas.
@ It has been VERY reliable and it is absolutely amazing in the snow and rain. It handles like a dream and I still have 4 Lo Locked for true off road usage if needed.
I know the 4472 case was used on the AWD Astro/Safari vans and the Syclones so they can take some alright HP but I wonder how much torque they could take before exploding? say to use in a truck drag racing deal. I'm sure all the gears and chain would have to be beefed up but would the case take it and how much would a factory case take.
I have duster AWD(4x4 lock)..it is front front drive with rear wheel longitudinal shaft(propeller shaft). Can I drive in front wheel with propeller shaft removed?
@@joebloe1152 I heard you have to build a circuit that would backfeed the rear sensor signal to the front sensor input at the tccm. To fool it and think there is no slip. Thus getting full 2wd. If you don't it'll piss of your ecu with just a disconnect switch
Xdrive difference is that it is controlling the clutchpack really precisely and so split right torque amount for both axles (example 80%/20%) then car achieve best grip for evéry surface. Main components are same in this videos case and the xdrive case.
Hello, I assume you are talking about our videos on RUclips? If so we typically let our clients post the videos and then we link to them so that they get the marketing hits for their videos. In some cases like this older video we did in 2015 we post the video because the client did not and we wanted to use it for a portfolio piece. Now this has some animation budget
Fantastic. I like the part of the video showing the oil lubrication.
Me too it’s amazing
All I have to say about this video is, wow. The animation was phenomenal 👏
that's awesome. now I know everything I wanted to know about awd transfer cases. Thanks!
amazing animations, well done

@@matthewmckinney2709 Thank you.
I Know this system is mounted on Great Wall Steed 6, you have an animation of a 4wd of Steed 5?
are you mean that borgwarner delievers power to wheels by hydraulic system system?

Great video!
What kind of oil we should use for this AWD Transfer case? Help!
This video is very good 👍, you learn engineering without a lecturer
Why don't they work if you remove the front divline

when will the 2 speed EHTC debut? god bless JLR
can you control if its in 2wd or awd? what models do this? do the work with GM automatics like 6l90e?
I would think the motor could be electrically disconnected and then rewired with a switch.
I just now thought of that and now I want to try it.

when i put 4h makes a soft klunk noise, but when i choose 4L, there is not noise, is normal? hyundai terracan
thank you !
Who is the music by?
Which model is this and which cars use it?
FIAT PANDA 4X4, FIAT 500 4X4. You can find and see also the video (TOD 4X4)
i dont see this being reliable. isnt the bmw x drive a very similar system to this one.

Is this 2015 and up???
