HEB coffee is the BEST! I'm in TX four years now and made the rookie mistake of calling it "heb." It's most definitely three syllables H-E-B ;) Keep a look out for their seasonal oreo-like sandwich cookies!!
We loved Luca! And I am so happy to see you so happy, having fun with your book. That is such a difference to last year! Thanks for all the inspiration and solace and motivation. I am grateful to have found you and your community
I love how you are enjoying the process and have accepted to call yourself a winner even if you don't reach the 50000 words. Enjoy all those cuddles and family time♡ big hugs
I made it to the 50k mark today on the second book in my series! My goal is for 60k though for this first draft, so that’s my goal for tomorrow. One thing I’m finding with writing is that the checklist is never ending. Even when I finish a task there’s always more to do. It’s a good thing! 🤔😊
Sarra, I’m really enjoying your nanowrimo vids. They are inspiring and gives us that push we need. I’ve been writing a little a few days a week but I’m a fulltime mom of 4 and two of them are 3 and 1 so they are very busy and my downtime I procrastinate really badly😬 I love, love, love the notebooks and I’m hoping to attend your hb90 course sometime next year❤️ thanks for being transparent with us and sharing your experiences as a writer❤️ we love and appreciate you too❤️
Hope y’all stay in Texas. Hope you had a blessed thanksgiving. Looks like you get around Houston better than I could. My hubby drives when we go. You look really rested.
NaNoWriMo was busy for me. finished my 112k word sci-fi novel that I started Nov 3 on Nov 29 sent to beta readers dec 3. that makes six novels for the year. totally excited to meet my goal for the year. Hope you had a great holiday and wish you a great new year to come.
Omg, this video made me miss Houston aka home so much. Salt Grass is the best! I'm so glad your family liked it. Lol, your name for the store had me rolling. To say the name you just say the letters separate so H.E.B.
This Nano was kind of a stretch from the start with some family trip stuff early in the month then trouble getting back in the swing of things and job search stuff got in the way. Now my mouse for my laptop broke the connector just kind of gave out after being used for so many years. I gave myself the grace to just work on whatever writing projects I can and to not worry about the numbers and updating. Patience and flexibility seem to be this years lessons.
@@HeartBreathings No need to be . . . it's easy for a person new to Texas to do. I'm living in Florida now after 3 decades in TX. Leaving HEB behind was my greatest sorrow. Enjoy it. . .best grocery store ever.
I actually think this a breath of fresh air when it comes to Nano. People always talk about if you don't make it, it's not a big deal meanwhile they are hitting their word counts and 'winning.' Yet you keep it real and honest and open up that it's not about the numbers but about being there for the love of the work. It's one of the many reasons why I always watch your vids. Granted, I've bounced around other people's content and enjoyed it as well but without fail, I always gravitate back to yours because of your very upfront way about what your working through and admit when something didn't go as planned instead of hiding it. I think that's why you have such a loving following. You're a very unique and genuine person and that type of person is not always easy to find, especially on platforms like this. (And the Hearties Sprint group, they are a godsend!) So I just want to say thank you for all the hard work you do for the community that you built and selflessly support. You are an awesome person and I'm happy to have found your content. 💖
Sarra. Thank you for your videos and sharing your wins and challenges. They are so inspiriting. You encourage me to just have fun with it, be grateful and appreciate my efforts.
Awesome job, on your word count for 24 and 25 day vlogs. I need to get motivated and find the energy to get back to doing my plotting. I ended up getting Covid last Wednesday so I've been very fatigued and sore. I'm trying to stay positive and hopefully maybe by Sunday do something on my writing. I really love the purple sweater on you. It's very pretty. Happy to hear you and the family had a relaxing Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing Sarra ❤ 😊
Go Sarra Go! You can do it. I’m just a couple hundred words from 40,000 and it’s the end of Day 26. I think I might make it which is huge for me because I’ve been in NaNoWriMo since 2009 and only completed it once in 2013. Even though I’ve written 14 full length novels since 2012, November never seems to be a good month for me to have the time to devote to it.
Also get their flavored coffee. I like the Houston blend best. But their Chocolate Kisses christmas flavor is my all time fave. I don’t even have a key rig. If yours makes fresh tortillas get them! So good.
I probably won't make 50,000 either. I am at 38,000 but I have a busy few days ahead. But like you, I want to get the final scene written today or tomorrow as I can see it so clearly in my head. After that, I can fill in the blanks. I really find your videos helpful and love following your journey.
I can’t believe it is almost over. I need 5,000 more words. Also, I made a mistake and went back to reread a chapter about an event in my main character life. I ended up deleting it. So disappointed in myself. I should have left it and just went back later and deleted it. I have no schooling on novel writing. I’m sure they teach this in class 101 🤦🏾♀️. Anyway. Happy writing and good luck. This my first time doing NaNo. Might be my last. I will set the goal lower because it puts pressure on me.
I don't understand how time is flying by so fast, haha. How are you doing? Can you believe NaNo is almost over already???!!!

I ran here to see if anyone else commented! 😬It’s just the letters, that’s all! And H-E-B is amazing ❤️❤️

Oh goodness, with two kids, a job, and other personal goals, never. 🥰

Oh, how I miss HEB and DANG I wish I could go to Michael's! And Salt Grass is delicious. So much fun.
Lol Sarra I called it Heb instead of H-E-B when I moved to TX three years ago and my friends out here were cracking up.
It's funny and cute - I came into the comments to see who would offer correction - The HEB . . . cute.
😅 I'm so embarrassed! haha

I love the Texas themed coffees at HEB! Definitely try some while you are in Texas.
The HEB. Lol. It’s H-E-B. Just say the initials. I’m glad you are feeling better and getting yourself things that make you happy.

I like your hair on day 25. ❤️🇨🇦
The point of NaNo is to end the month with more words than you started the month with.
I’m shy of 42K right now so I’m trucking along. 🙂 Happy holidays to you and your family!
Am back on track and will win Nano first time. Just bingewatched all your planner videos and habe Set up my ohne planner for Q4. You inspire me! Love!

Not from TX but yeah, its pronounced H. E. B. strange, I know!
It’s H E B. Say the individual letters, not as a word. 😊. I so miss HEB! And Mrs Bairds bread. Mmmm.
H-E-B is said aich eee bee.

Wow you're doing great! And even if you deleted the words, as long as you know how many you wrote, I would still count it!

Lol heb that funny most people call it like H-E-B lol
Funny seeing so many people with masks on as it is different in Dallas…..
