I started Nano hoping to hit the 50k, but I was more focused on just writing something each day since my writing fell to the side during a job transition. Congratulations to those of you that did hit your 50k, and an enthusiastic "You can do it!" to those that are close to their finish line!!!

I wasn't sold on the desk notepad until you showed it can be refilled. Now I need it! I always keep a notepad beside me when I write so when I have a random thought or something to look up I just jot it down so I don't distract from my writing. Then at the end of the day I have a "to do" type of list that I can make a plan from
In some of your previous videos where you talked about your mental health, I related so much and now I understand why. I've had to stop seeing my family too because of their abusive behaviors. I hope your Thanksgiving weekend was filled with love and happiness.

I need to think like that more and live my life as such. I feel like I dont have the right to dream big dreams. But I do. Totally relate to moving away from toxicity and abuse to build stronger bonds within smaller circles and making your own family dynamic. We took in a relative who was struggling and now he wont leave. The last 2 years have been hellish: He filed a property lawsuit against us, terrorised my 4 year old nephew and use our kindness against us. Imagine not being able to go in your own backyard because you dont know what you will be facing.
Have a lovely weekend - it's just a normal Friday over here, so I'm just hanging in until my Yule/Christmas break 😀 BTW, did anyone else notice that the year-at-a-glance calendar in that teacher planner is upside-down?

Happy Thanksgiving, Sarra! I just want to express how thankful I am for finding you and your channel. I'm coming out of a very dark period of my life after years as a caregiver for two sisters with cancer, one of whom I lost in February -- after losing of my brothers last September -- and my surviving sister just had a second cancer surgery in July. I went from leading my writing buddies to losing all of my writing tribe these past two years, as well as most of my sense of identity and am still facing an uncertain future with homelessness a huge worry in the years ahead. I'm in both HB90 and P&T, and together with your videos you've really helped me begin to rebuild and have hope for the future. I'm at 71K of my 90K goal for NaNo. It so good to get back into writing! I know I'm not alone in that you're such a blessing to so many. Thank you for everything you do, have a great holiday with fam and most of all, happy writing for the rest of NaNo!

This is my 2nd year doing NaNo I "won" last year as a rebel because of the goals I had set and the modifications I made and when I set out this year I was going to actually do NaNo the way its "supposed to be done"... However I got sick right as it started and some other stuff happened so I changed my plan to rebel mode again this year. I am on target to "win" but I will not have my novel finished like I wanted. I'm going to just accept it and hopefully finish it by the end of the year. Right now I am replotting what I want to write starting in December and I will try to NaNo in December.

For nanowrimo i took on the task on creating a first draft for my Train Wreck [ Working progress name ] screen play. So for i got 3007 words but that might be cheating a little considering the scene headings and transitions. Anyway just thought I'd share. Fun video by the way.

Not sure if you noticed but the Hello Kitty teacher planner at the end had a wrong inserted yearly plan. 23:21 timestamp. So this has been my biggest gripe with EC, I love love the planner but every year I have ordeded one there is something wrong with them. Busted up coils, wrong inserts, tabs wrong etc. I live in the EU so I have to pay big bucks for them and although I dont mind it is a one time yearly expense it makes me sad that it still happens. Loved the haul and cant wait for you decemeber mini course
