I just watched the video you posted today. A close friend of mine went through a similar situation in 2019. Stay strong and keep doing what you're doing. You're an inspiration. I hope she can realize she is hurting you, her fans and the writing industry. Take care and know we're praying for you.

First time I have commented. Yay for you congrats! & just to add:after finding your channel last year: I've started & am using my very own invented Project Board for Getting Things Done; I've started a Tarot Diary; I've totally come out as Wiccan/Pagan & am very proud of it, I've started writing again (not naNoWriMo - maybe next year), I'm saving up for your HB90 course next time you reopen, I've accepted my extreme addiction to Washi Tape & now celebrate it, I've worked really hard on reducing stress & anxiety & have been able to track & see how it affects my life - & I've put in place important structures (art time, candles etc) to help manage & alleviate. All of these things are just because of watching your channel & your very thoughtful content. No one can take that away from me, or you - you have had a very powerful & positive impact. TY

Sarra, I just wanted to add my support so that you know there are so many people who admire what you do. We know why you do it, because you love it. I just can't explain people who bully, harass and hurt those who don't deserve it. Stand strong and I'm so incredibly proud of you; for not only keeping all of this to yourself for so long, but more for coming out with your truth. I can't believe people live with so much hate and super proud you didn't add to that drama! We believe in you, mend your broken heart because all of that is really hard when it's so public. Here for you! xo

I actually watched your newest video right before I watched this one, and since I couldn't comment on that one, I'm commenting here.
First of all, congrats on the 26K! You set a perfect example of how to adjust your goals and take care of yourself during hectic seasons of your life. I've learned so much from watching you!
Secondly, I wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about those legal issues. That's horrible! You definitely don't deserve that kind of treatment from anybody, but especially not someone you had considered to be a mentor. Knowing you had to deal with this on top of everything else makes your Nano win even more impressive!
Thank you for all your encouragement and support of us fellow writers, and I hope you know we all love and support you, too! Let's keep lifting each other up, and hopefully the people who try to tear us down will realize their mistakes and come around. Or at least karma might lend a hand! Not that I wish anything bad upon anybody, just hoping some lessons are learned along the way and maybe those people will come to their senses in time.
Anyway, thanks again, Sarra, for all that you do! Keep being the awesome badass you are! 💖💖💖💖

Sarra, my heart breaks for you on your false accusation situation. But you said it best when writing terminology and ideas and tips have been around for a very long time and nobody really owns any of them but rather uses and modifies them to help get the best writing done that a writer can do.
Shoot, I started writing fan-fiction in the mid-90s and even then terms and concepts like Pantster and all were being used in the 2 different communities that I was writing in.
You stay positive and don't let anyone steal your joy!
    You got this!
And congrats on getting the total word count that you did accomplish this year!
With everything that goes on in real life, every word is a Victory and you should be proud!
Happy Holidays to you and your family!

This was my first year doing NaNoWriMo - though I didn’t hit the 50k I was hoping for, I got over 40k, which is more than I’ve ever written for anything! It’s a strange feeling to be both disappointed and proud of yourself at the same time, but that’s where I’m at right now. Can’t thank you enough for all your encouragement and sharing your progress throughout the month! Wishing you a wonderful holiday with your family and best of luck in all future adventures

Congratulations on an amazing milestone achievement. It may not have been what you had initially set out to do; but it was what you had intended to do by the end of the month, and that is what is important. I know it's hard for you right now, but keep your head tall; your back straight, and your toes warm; you got this!! You have a lot of support and love in your corner, not all of it is out there written or spoken aloud; but all of it is carried on the universes ears, and to your heart. Stay safe Sarra, we're here for you.

You did terrific regarding your word count - 26,000+ is a win. 👍🏻
And you’ve done a pretty fantastic job of enduring, learning, and growing through this year.
When you start to get down on yourself just remember - ‘The Point of Power is always in the present moment.’
Though fairly new to your channel, I look forward to learning, growing, and WRITING with you in this coming new year.

I'm so proud of you. Congrats on hitting 26K. That's an awesome achievement. 💙 Thank you for all your advice and encouragement through the month, even when you were feeling down about your word counts. Maybe even especially then. You showed that life happens and sometimes you don't hit the goals you'd like to, but if you don't, it's OK. It just means things happened and everything else you did has just as much value.
I did not win NaNo. I wrote 43K, but I'm only keeping about 15K of those words (there was a lot of writing and re-writing because the story just wasn't flowing well), and that's OK. I'm happy with what I've accomplished this month. I feel a lot like Edison. I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

One thing i do is I do not move on to another story until i accomplish one project at a time.
I refuse to move on and a bunch of half written work accomplished.
Sometimes i allow fear of success cause me to become distracted. I try to understand why am i experience panic attacks.
However when I just write i find myself living in a zone. Joy. Writing with joy. Writing without fear. Or writing pressing through mental barrier.
When i write not caring how words come forth from my soul that fear anxiety attack seems like just bs!!!
    Thanks for your videos!!!

Considering everything you had going on in your family, slightly going over the 25k halfway mark is really awesome. :) Last year's NaNoWriMo was pretty rough for me too, as I was in the process of moving, but I was really close and finished at 43,691 words for book two of my Christian Urban drama trilogy series. This was a win for me as I wasn't fully prepared and didn't know how I was gonna go about the story. You are right about being proud whether we make the 50k or not. It's great just to see our writing progress, whether a little or a lot. If I hadn't wrote book two during NaNoWriMo, I might've not had the finished 1st draft of it I have today.

Loved this so much, Sarra. Your chat about mental health -- I can't begin to express how grateful I am that you continue to share your experience with us in this manner. My mentality has been a struggle for me lately, and you put it so well: of deciding what is too much pressure, that no one can decide that but you. Comparison syndrome has been really eating at me lately. Others are doing all these things, what's wrong with me? Am I just lazy? Unequipped? To have that reminder to take care of my joy, to protect my mind so I CAN do all the things I want to do. Finding the sweet spot of what works for me -- I'm going to keep that in mind moving forward. Thank you again. You are such a precious, valuable soul.

I've been doing Nano since 2018. I have finished a couple times but didn't this time and I never seem to finish the camps even with them being so easy and our choice of how many words and such. I felt incomplete but I decided to enjoy my days instead of do sprints to finish, I was close but had to let go. I always think if I was to pass away soon, what would I be focused on? I want writing to be something I love and can't wait to do, not stressful deadlines.

I wrote nothing on Mon, because my chest was tight, leaving my anxiety super high. Yesterday I wrote about 2,000 while still and quiet, but I was so tired, that I forgot to update my final word count. 😅
