Hey, I have metrics in rows and colums This solution applies the same condiitonal format in all metrics in the row Is there a way to make every selected metric have their own conditional format working?
Hi, thanks for the video. Is conditional formatting of my calculation items possible, if i have multiple measures in rows in a matrix visual. So i have e.g. Measure 1 to Measure n in rows and my calculation group in columns. The logic must then work across several measures instead of just for one as in your Total Sales example. In my example, I would like to display the percentage deviation between MTD and MTD PY which is stored in calculation item MTD % of all measures as a color gradient.Thanks.
Hello Dean! I have a table with measures in lines and in columns the Current and %YoY (made with calculations groups). Is possible to make a conditional to only color the columns of the %YoY?
Hey, I've uploaded a pbix file now so try following along or copying over the measure in the file - data.world/deanchereden/superstore-dataset/workspace/file?filename=Sales+Dashboard+-++PBIX.pbix
Hey, I finally updated a version that has it in on data.world data.world/deanchereden/superstore-dataset/workspace/file?filename=Sales+Dashboard+-++PBIX.pbix
Thank you Dean - clever trick to get formatting working with both field parameters and calculation groups!

I encountered a similar issue. Could you please advise on how to resolve it?

Hello Dean!
I have a table with measures in lines and in columns the Current and %YoY (made with calculations groups).
Is possible to make a conditional to only color the columns of the %YoY?
Condition = IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Calculated group'[Name]) in {"%YOY"}, [your measure], BLANK ())
Hey, as someone mentioned in the comments, that is covered in the video. Did it not work for you?
@@DeanChereden Hi Dean, I try your measure applied for "YOY %" but it did not work, only work for YTD/MTD etc.
does not work. all i get are blanks
doesnt work for me. the conditional format measure always returns the actual measure value rather than the calculated item so the formatting is wrong.

Matt, could you share the model?
Hey, I finally updated a version that has it in on data.world data.world/deanchereden/superstore-dataset/workspace/file?filename=Sales+Dashboard+-++PBIX.pbix
would you share that PBIX? :)
Hey, I finally updated a pbix file here data.world/deanchereden/superstore-dataset/workspace/file?filename=Sales+Dashboard+-++PBIX.pbix
