This goes to every industry not only bollywood. Even hollywood don't represent india as in much detail and even in Chinese movies too. So don't blame Bollywood all the times.
Your wife is very honest in commenting “this dance is not graceful”. I too find this dance as an insult to art and choreography. I would throw this dance and it’s creators into compost bin. 👌🏼to her sense of appreciation of art and dance
How do you find it insulating, this dance is supposed to be like that... I too have seen so many head moment in indian dance that mean that we are insulting our classical dance art... In classical dance the head moment is very important to express our expression. Don't complicate things.... At least they have tried to represent chinese culture from ancient to modern chinese and they represent perfectly.
